E-Statement Implementation Project – Jan 2011 to April 2012
The objective was to establish a solution to deliver statements electronically to clients. I developed
project charter, preliminary scope statement, stakeholder register and selected a project team. I
created a WBS, conducted risk analysis and developed a risk register, communication and cost
management plan. I implemented the project plan and managed the budget. I monitored project
work to ensure project specifications were met; managed change control process and
communicated approved changes and project updates to stakeholders. At project close I , gained
acceptance of deliverables, documented lessons learned and submitted final report.
Online Bill Payment Phase I & II – 2011 – 2014
Objective: Implement a bill user-friendly payment system. Developed Project Charter, Project
Management plan, Created WBS, risk register, quality and communication plan. Was responsible for
schedule management and training of the project team. Initiated major project activities, managed
change control process. Prepared final report, documented lessons learned, and submitted final
documents to client.
Emerald City Branch set-up – 2007-2008, Emerald City Branch expansion – 2008-2009 and
Carlton Branch set-up – June to December 2012
Objective: Establish satellite branch in the geographical location. Developed Project Charter,
Preliminary Scope Statement, Scope of Works and WBS. Created risk register, human resource, quality
and communication plan. Managed schedule. Conducted daily site visits to monitor progress and
ensure quality of work met stakeholder expectation. Managed change control process and
communicated changes to relevant stakeholders. Closed procurement contracts, documented lessons
learned and delivered final report to client.
Mobile Banking - June 2013 to September 2014
Objective: To implement the mobile banking solution with service characteristics and reporting
mechanisms all available and functioning. Created Project Charter, Preliminary Scope Statement
and Stakeholder Register. Developed WBS and Risk Management Plan. Selected and managed

Event Director - Barbados Collaborative Conference 2008 - September 2007 – August 2008
Created Project Charter, Preliminary Scope Statement and Stakeholder Register. Developed
communication, cost, risk and procurement management plans. Drafted Scope of Works document and
prepared all contracts. Managed all budgets and approved expenditure. Created WBS and assigned work

Marketing
Marketing Consultant - Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union
The Home Show, 2003
 Conceptualised and developed the strategy for the Barbados Public Workers Cooperative
Credit Union Ltd.'s booth.

 Responsibility for all aspects of this presentation including the design and production of
sales literature for the event, promotional activities to attract patrons to the booth and
encourage sign-up for membership and/or products
 Managed the day-to-day operation of the booth
 Carried out the after event impact analysis.
Mobile Recharge Project - Phase I & II, 2008-2010
This product, branded TopUp&Go, allows users to top-up their prepaid phones through SMS
using their handsets. In addition to managing the implementation of this service I was
responsible for all aspects of its launch, including marketing. Some of the marketing activities I
completed were:
 Developing the marketing strategy
 Developed the logo and branded all relevant materials
 Advertising: writing copy for print and radio ads, directing radio and television ads, creating
content for brochures, flyers and other printed materials and directing their production.
 Market research: conducting focus groups to test the visual impact of the logo on its target
audience
TopUp&Go Management, 2010-2015
 Strategic and tactical marketing planning: developing and executing plans, including
budgets, on an annual and as required basis
 Conducting market research annually in order to facilitate marketing planning
 Conducted research to assess the viability and profitability of expanding the product reach
through CarIFS and presented these results to the CarIFS Board of Directors
 Reporting: producing reports on the activity and performance of the service
 Sales: planning, presentations and negotiations to interest other financial institutions to
offer the product for their customers
 Advertising and promotional activities: aimed at raising awareness, increasing take-up and
usage of the service
 Development of website, web app and social media presence: the website is currently
offline to facilitate its redevelopment
 Developed training materials and conducted product training
 I am currently creating a mobile application which will allow the execution of the mobile
recharge a one step process - at present, users are required to send a text message with a
specific command string to a preset short code. My objective is to have a mobile application
which will only require the user to enter the dollar amount of the top-up and everything
else will be executed on the back-end, making the process easier to use with less to
remember.
Event Director - Barbados Collaborative Conference 2008 - September 2007 – August 2008
This comprised 8 days of activities in addition to the 2-day conference. The other activities
included a cricket match, cruise, masquerade ball, a social showcase of local talent, a cocktail
reception at Illaro Court and 2-day trade show. I worked closely with the Conference Director to
ensure that this was a premier event, superior to those which preceded it. In order to achieve

this, I introduced some of the events mentioned and produced an 80-page conference journal
that advertisers loved. I was also responsible for obtaining sponsorship and exceeded their
target by 200%.
This conference was a very significant opportunity for many businesses and government
departments in Barbados as it brought a captive audience of Barbadians living in the USA,
Canada and the UK to the Island. In addition to planning the events, producing the journal and
recruiting over 10 major sponsors, I also addressed the press and liaised with public and private
sector institutions and organisations on behalf of the conference director and managed all
aspects of PR and marketing. Some of the activities included:
 Developing a PR campaign and marketing plan
 Developing a strategy to attract sponsorship
 Filling the role of editor and writer for most of the conference journal
 Writing press releases
 Designing the logo for the conference
 Designing the cover for the journal
 Branding all materials for the conference
 Designing print ads for the various events of the conference
 Liaising with the web developer to publish materials on the conference website
 Developing and managing budget
Distributor for Globalemed Barbados - 2004/01 to 2010/12
 IBS became a distributor for this US based company in 2004 and captured 80% of the
market in the first 3 months
 Market share increased to 90% by the end of the first year
 Maintained market share for 5 years
Marketing Consultant - Cherry Apple Kids 2009 - 2011
Cherry Apple Kids provides resources for parents of children between the ages of 5 and 16. It
was also positioned to make developmental training in non-traditional areas available to
children in the target group.

I monitored project work to ensure project specifications were met; managed change control process and communicated approved changes and project updates to stakeholders. Online Bill Payment Phase I & II – 2011 – 2014 Objective: Implement a bill user-friendly payment system. Developed Project Charter, Project Management plan, Created WBS, risk register, quality and communication plan. Was responsible for schedule management and training of the project team. Initiated major project activities, managed change control process. Prepared final report, documented lessons learned, and submitted final documents to client. Marketing Marketing Consultant - Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union The Home Show, 2003  Conceptualised and developed the strategy for the Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union Ltd.'s booth.
  • 3. 3 | P a g e  Responsibility for all aspects of this presentation including the design and production of sales literature for the event, promotional activities to attract patrons to the booth and encourage sign-up for membership and/or products  Managed the day-to-day operation of the booth  Carried out the after event impact analysis. Mobile Recharge Project - Phase I & II, 2008-2010 This product, branded TopUp&Go, allows users to top-up their prepaid phones through SMS using their handsets. In addition to managing the implementation of this service I was responsible for all aspects of its launch, including marketing. Some of the marketing activities I completed were:  Developing the marketing strategy  Developed the logo and branded all relevant materials  Advertising: writing copy for print and radio ads, directing radio and television ads, creating content for brochures, flyers and other printed materials and directing their production.  Market research: conducting focus groups to test the visual impact of the logo on its target audience TopUp&Go Management, 2010-2015  Strategic and tactical marketing planning: developing and executing plans, including budgets, on an annual and as required basis  Conducting market research annually in order to facilitate marketing planning  Conducted research to assess the viability and profitability of expanding the product reach through CarIFS and presented these results to the CarIFS Board of Directors  Reporting: producing reports on the activity and performance of the service  Sales: planning, presentations and negotiations to interest other financial institutions to offer the product for their customers  Advertising and promotional activities: aimed at raising awareness, increasing take-up and usage of the service  Development of website, web app and social media presence: the website is currently offline to facilitate its redevelopment  Developed training materials and conducted product training  I am currently creating a mobile application which will allow the execution of the mobile recharge a one step process - at present, users are required to send a text message with a specific command string to a preset short code. My objective is to have a mobile application which will only require the user to enter the dollar amount of the top-up and everything else will be executed on the back-end, making the process easier to use with less to remember. Event Director - Barbados Collaborative Conference 2008 - September 2007 – August 2008 This comprised 8 days of activities in addition to the 2-day conference. The other activities included a cricket match, cruise, masquerade ball, a social showcase of local talent, a cocktail reception at Illaro Court and 2-day trade show. I worked closely with the Conference Director to ensure that this was a premier event, superior to those which preceded it. In order to achieve
  • 4. 4 | P a g e this, I introduced some of the events mentioned and produced an 80-page conference journal that advertisers loved. I was also responsible for obtaining sponsorship and exceeded their target by 200%. This conference was a very significant opportunity for many businesses and government departments in Barbados as it brought a captive audience of Barbadians living in the USA, Canada and the UK to the Island. In addition to planning the events, producing the journal and recruiting over 10 major sponsors, I also addressed the press and liaised with public and private sector institutions and organisations on behalf of the conference director and managed all aspects of PR and marketing. Some of the activities included:  Developing a PR campaign and marketing plan  Developing a strategy to attract sponsorship  Filling the role of editor and writer for most of the conference journal  Writing press releases  Designing the logo for the conference  Designing the cover for the journal  Branding all materials for the conference  Designing print ads for the various events of the conference  Liaising with the web developer to publish materials on the conference website  Developing and managing budget Distributor for Globalemed Barbados - 2004/01 to 2010/12  IBS became a distributor for this US based company in 2004 and captured 80% of the market in the first 3 months  Market share increased to 90% by the end of the first year  Maintained market share for 5 years Marketing Consultant - Cherry Apple Kids 2009 - 2011 Cherry Apple Kids provides resources for parents of children between the ages of 5 and 16.
