Design, Modelling, Implementation and Working (With
Critical Times Concepts) of Two Wings Rotating Barrier for
Establishing at the General Store to Create Social Distancing

Abstract
Here in the presented research report, The Engineers (authors) have developed the rotating barrier
as an obstruction to maintain the social distancing with the help of the CAD software. Authors followed
the design engineering methodology and prepared canvases for the development, Created mind mapping,
and Designed with the help of standard design guidelines also modeling by CAD tool. The rotating barrier
obstruction can establish in front of the general store door or ticket counters (and any place where the
crowed of humans is create and its required to convert in row) to create social distancing as a safeguard to
COVID-19. Also, for this project, Authors (Engineers) assumed (with empathy thinking) the working
condition for the user. Also, in this paper, the Author (Engineers) has introduced the new concepts for the
buyer in the rotating barrier as a name MCT (Momentary Critical Time) and RCT (Required Critical
Time) & Free Time (FT) for the buyer with JT (Judgment Time) for the store owner.

I. INTRODUCTION
The whole world is affected by the COVID-
19; for preventing COVID-19 infection, do not
leave home is important. But it is compulsorily
required to leave home to buy necessary things.
Now, in this situation, as per the advice of WHO
and Government guidelines, maintaining social
distancing is more important. In more populated
countries like China and India, the maintenance of
social distancing is very difficult. The author
(Engineer) invented the Metal – wooden structure
to establish in front of the shop or store door.
The structure introduced by the Engineer;
the rotating barrier is the structure of steel or wood
to make the obstruction between the two things, two
or more peoples, etc.
A revolving door generally consists of two
or more wings that hang on a center with bearings
and rotate around a vertical axis within a cylindrical
enclosure.

Generally, obstructions like barrier are used
for controlling the traffic on the road as well as the
highways. Moreover these barriers are also used as
a check post point by the traffic police. Also, the
grill barriers are used for the crowed control in the
ticket counter of the railway, theatre, airport, etc.
Revolving Barrier Are Used Mostly in Garden
Door.
Different type customers are available in the
world, some customers Take More time as per their
body health. So, it is required to introduce the
critical times.
Definition of the newly developed concepts (For
rotating barrier as per this project): MCT, RCT,
CT.
Momentary Critical Time (MCT): when both
customers are in the barrier the first customer is
going for extruding and another customer is going
for the buying.
Required Critical Time (RCT): when the one
customer is entering or extruding, another customer
is implicate in the barrier.
Free Time (FT): when the one customer is buying,
another buyer is lifted from the barrier and his place
is being empty. The empty place will automatically
lock as per the design of the barrier stand. The
buyer who is buying can take time as per his want.
Judgement Time (JT): For the seller, when the
seller put the required things on the rotating plate
and the buyer put the payment money on the plate.
Now the plate is rotating and the times come when
the money and things are parallel but both are
middle in between buyer and seller. This time may
be possible the buyer can take both, and go away.
II. METHODOLOGY
Authors (Engineers) followed the guidelines
given by the GTU India for developing the solution.
The prepared the canvas is converted in to the table
format; as a Framework.
AEIOU Frame work is used in this project
for the observation of the actual field as A-Activity,
E-Environment, I-Interaction, O-Objects, U-Users.
AEIOU summary shown in the framework Table 1.

The Authors (Engineers) not faced the
problem as an only observer but put their-self in
place of the user (customer and store owner) and
prepared Empathy framework as shown in Table 2.

IV. IMPLEMENTATION
The implementation of the output product is
shown in the figure 7.

V. WORKING
For the Discussion of the working, it is
assumed the product is implemented in front of the
store (Figure 6), and both support Stands (Figure 2
(A) & Figure 3 (B)) are fixed

VII. CONCLUSION
The product explained in this research
project can help the whole world to prevent the
infection to COVID-19. Also, it can help the store
keeper to manage crowd in front of the shop. Also,
any place where required human crowed converts to
row and rotation. The Position of the rotating plate
and position of the rotating barrier is totally
independent to each other. Also, the future scope of
the presented product is immense. In future weather
protecting kit can be installed in this device to
protect the customer from heavy rain or from
sunlight during the hot summer days. And can
install a huge umbrella over the device which will
protect the customer from the mentioned problems.
The Author (Engineers) introduced the new
concepts for buyer in the rotating barrier as a name
MCT (Momentary Critical Time) and RCT
(Required Critical Time) & Free Time (FT) for
buyer during buying with Judgment Time (JT) for
store owner. Every buyer always wants this, the
Minimum RCT and Maximum FT. these concepts
of the Critical positions, RCT, MCT, FT, and JT
can be useful for future work, and also, can be the
deep research subject for the scientist and
engineers. And can help to solve the more related
Questions.

Authors followed the design engineering methodology and prepared canvases for the development, Created mind mapping, and Designed with the help of standard design guidelines also modeling by CAD tool. The rotating barrier obstruction can establish in front of the general store door or ticket counters (and any place where the crowed of humans is create and its required to convert in row) to create social distancing as a safeguard to COVID-19. Also, for this project, Authors (Engineers) assumed (with empathy thinking) the working condition for the user. Also, in this paper, the Author (Engineers) has introduced the new concepts for the buyer in the rotating barrier as a name MCT (Momentary Critical Time) and RCT (Required Critical Time) & Free Time (FT) for the buyer with JT (Judgment Time) for the store owner. INTRODUCTION The whole world is affected by the COVID- 19; for preventing COVID-19 infection, do not leave home is important. But it is compulsorily required to leave home to buy necessary things. Now, in this situation, as per the advice of WHO and Government guidelines, maintaining social distancing is more important. In more populated countries like China and India, the maintenance of social distancing is very difficult. The author (Engineer) invented the Metal – wooden structure to establish in front of the shop or store door. The structure introduced by the Engineer; the rotating barrier is the structure of steel or wood to make the obstruction between the two things, two or more peoples, etc. A revolving door generally consists of two or more wings that hang on a center with bearings and rotate around a vertical axis within a cylindrical enclosure. Moreover these barriers are also used as a check post point by the traffic police. Also, the grill barriers are used for the crowed control in the ticket counter of the railway, theatre, airport, etc. Revolving Barrier Are Used Mostly in Garden Door. Different type customers are available in the world, some customers Take More time as per their body health. So, it is required to introduce the critical times. Definition of the newly developed concepts (For rotating barrier as per this project): MCT, RCT, CT. Momentary Critical Time (MCT): when both customers are in the barrier the first customer is going for extruding and another customer is going for the buying. Required Critical Time (RCT): when the one customer is entering or extruding, another customer is implicate in the barrier. Free Time (FT): when the one customer is buying, another buyer is lifted from the barrier and his place is being empty. The empty place will automatically lock as per the design of the barrier stand. The buyer who is buying can take time as per his want. Judgement Time (JT): For the seller, when the seller put the required things on the rotating plate and the buyer put the payment money on the plate. Now the plate is rotating and the times come when the money and things are parallel but both are middle in between buyer and seller. This time may be possible the buyer can take both, and go away. II. METHODOLOGY Authors (Engineers) followed the guidelines given by the GTU India for developing the solution. The prepared the canvas is converted in to the table format; as a Framework. AEIOU Frame work is used in this project for the observation of the actual field as A-Activity, E-Environment, I-Interaction, O-Objects, U-Users. AEIOU summary shown in the framework Table 1. So it can create a spread of infection of the viruses. Happy story If any obstruction is created; then, the social distance is must be automatically followed.

WORKING For the Discussion of the working, it is assumed the product is implemented in front of the store (Figure 6), and both support Stands (Figure 2 (A) & Figure 3 (B)) are fixed upperparts are assembled (Hinged) via bearing for the rotation. This designed barrier (Figure 3 (A)) and also plate (Figure 2 (B)) rotate in both directions clockwise and anticlockwise. After buying complete by Buyer Y, Y can Exit and the Buyer Z can enter. The buyer Y is entered in the barrier but x not exited to the barrier. The Authors (engineers) say to this time is “Momentary Critical Time (MCT)” For both X and Y customers. always “momentary” time (Every customer want this time, can be minimum). CONCLUSION The product explained in this research project can help the whole world to prevent the infection to COVID-19. Also, it can help the store keeper to manage crowd in front of the shop. Also, any place where required human crowed converts to row and rotation. The Position of the rotating plate and position of the rotating barrier is totally independent to each other. Also, the future scope of the presented product is immense. In future weather protecting kit can be installed in this device to protect the customer from heavy rain or from sunlight during the hot summer days. And can install a huge umbrella over the device which will protect the customer from the mentioned problems.
