All athletes of all sports on a professional level must be required to undergo drug testing for
performance enhancing drugs prior to participating in any sporting event to ensure an equal level
playing field for all competing athletes, no matter the sport. Furthermore, performance enhancing
drugs are illegal and must remain this way in order to keep fairness in the competitive world of
sports.
The bottom line is that athletes should not be able to do performance enhancing drugs and
continue to be allowed to performance in these sports. The unfairness of doing these drugs does not
allow for a fair game. Ultimately, these cheating athletes are superior in the field and dominate the
other athletes that do not take steroids and how can you call that a fair game when the athletes are
not equal in performance due to a enhancing drug.
To further the argument, performance enhancing drugs must remain against the law to protect the
athlete s health and well being. If today s athletes are going to be so careless and take these drugs,
we as a society must step in and take control of what these athletes are putting in their bodies. And if
they continue to break the law by taking performance enhancing drugs, then they must suffer the
consequences by possibly being banned from the sport for an extended period of time or a lifetime
ban, which is would a result of their salaries and livelihood, endorsements and possible prison time.

Company at the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival hosted the play. I saw it on July 7, 2017.
During the play, I noticed a few different themes. Some of the theme I noticed was justice, lying,
mortality, and sin. Justice was present through the whole play; in fact, it was the heart and soul of
the play. Justice was present when Claudio was sentenced to be killed and the Duke allowed
Angelo to change Vienna s laws.
Measure for Measure to me was an interesting and convincing play. The part that worked the best
was when the Duke disguising himself as Friar. I would of never known the disguise without the
program. Another bit that worked well was when Claudio was arrested and sentenced to death.
The opening, when the Duke did the announcements, it was hilarious. The part where I felt scared
was after Claudio had sex with Juliet. The part where I felt sad was when Claudio was sentenced
to death. Overall the characters were entertaining. Most of the characters were genuine. The
productions had a religious message for the audience. The message was not to have sex before
marriage.
The characters were all believable. The two characters that stuck out the most to me were Claudio,

There were two pieces of text I recently read, one is This is water by David Foster Wallace, and
the other is Letters to a young poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. I will be discussing the contrast
between these two texts and tell the audience what they were precisely thinking about. For
Wallace, his passed commencement speech to share advice to people who here at a college
graduation. In his speech, he delivered the reality of how a typical adult life goes. His statement
also talked about decision making, and how all choices will impact our future growth. On the
other hand, Rilke conveys his ideas by writing the letter to one military student named Franz
Xaver Kappus. In the letter to a young poet, I mostly focused on letter eight, because he pays
attention to solitude and how it is essential to be a real artist. It is only through solitude that he
will learn personal truths, he told Kappus that he needs to trust his feelings and to face the
difficulty. Rilke talked about solitude in letter eight. As I grow older, I gradually understand that
everything will not be smooth, it is hard. There will be many things we cannot avoid, such as
solitude. Nowadays, solitude has already become a regular phenomenon in our daily life. For
example, when I walk on the street, I always see a person walking alone, eating alone, shopping

How Did Greek Culture Influence The Minoan Culture
In order to explain the influence the Minoan and Mycenaean cultures had on the later Greeks it is
important to understand the beginnings of Greek culture. The first known civilization of Greek
culture were the Minoans, consequently, there is not a lot of information about this group (The

language is said to have been the foundation for later Greek language. The Mycenaeans broadened
