As a young vibrantand energeticperson, itismypleasure towrite thisletterto the interestedcompanythat
isgoingto hire me. Iwouldlike totell youthatIhave completedmymatricin2005 and wenttoMotheoTVET
College in2007 and I did the course ManagementAssistant.Imanagedto obtaina National certificate of N4
andN5. The subjectsthatI wasdoingwas(Office practice,Communication, Informationprocessing,Computer
practice) and I managed to do Access, Excel, Ms Word and Outlook.
My firstexperience of work,I’ve gainedfromChannel 4 life,Libertylife andSanlam workingas a consultant.
This insurance companiestaught me how to deal with clients especially to have patience for difficultclients
and I also gained the telephone etiquettes, writing minutes and memorandums. I also managed to gain an
experience of handling presentations and diary for the senior managers.
I gainedanotherexperience byworkingat the pharmacy (Mangaung Pharmacy) wherebyIwas workingas a
Front Shop Assistant and I dealt with patients using different schedules for different medications. It was a
greathonourfor me because Ididn’t have the qualifications forworkingatthe pharmacybutI wasso brilliant
at handling patients.
In 2012 up until 2015, I started another career by working at the field of hospitality and I was working as an
AssistantManagerfor the companycalled (Vidae caffee) dealingwithstocktaking,invoices,ordersandIwas
alsoactingasacoordinatorinsidethe shop. Igainedalsoanexperienceof dealingwith complaints anddrafting
shiftsforstuff.While I wasworkingthere,I usedthe software system(GAAP). In2015 the 1st
of May up until
20th
August2015 I workedforBurningSpearSpur as a FrontShopManager dealingwith stocktaking,invoices,
orders, drafting shifts for stuff and I was also handling complaints for the customers. The systemsoftware I
used there was (PILOT SYSTEM).
In all of these companiesI’veworkedfor,I’velearnedrespect,how tobehave,how tobe a goodtime keeper,
howto leadas an example toothersandalsohow to respectrulesandregulationsof the company. Asyoung
and energeticperson,I’ve learnedhowto understandthe contract before signingitand I also taught myself
to enjoy work before working there without thinking about the salary or the incentives of the company.
