Experience & Acquired Skills
SALES ASSOCIATE | DUNHAM’S SPORTS | 05/2007 – 05/2012
· At Dunham’s Sports I was the last employee hired before the grand opening in 2007 where I slowly became the last
remaining original hired employee at their Delavan location; including the multiple occurrences where top branch
management was reorganized with different store and assistant store managers. While being there I specialized
specifically in training newemployees and remerchandising entire aisles of seasonal merchandise.
LOGISTICS | SAN JAMAR | 09/2012 – 06/2014
· After mastering the ins and outs of our logistical daily operations I was put on a small and selective list amongst other
employees who would have the responsibility of managing eight to twelve other employees ensuring that all orders for
the day were picked, packed, and sent out via UPS or FedEx to our variety of customers. This position was something I
was rotated in and out of for two to six weeks at a time making sure everyone worked together to efficiently complete
our responsibilities on time.
SCREEN PRINTER | ON-TIME TEES | 05/2012 – 03/2015
· Working at On-Time Tees was a big change of pace for myself as it was my first time working for a small business where
I helped watch it grow and expand over the course of about three years. In my last year with this company I had begun
going back to school full time after taking two years off and was able to put in my hours before and after class five days a
week where I had numerous job orders to complete and sent out by 4pm at the end of the day. This job entailed a great
amount of detail confirming the graphicdesign was spelled correctly, positioned correctly, and then printed with the
correct ink colors. From here it was also crucial to actively check each print to check for pin holes and confirm that the
prints were still aligned correctly.
TELEMARKETER | IPACESETTERS | 06/2011-02/2012
· At iPacesetters I was started out in outbound sales calling current and potential customers offering them cable TV,
Internet, home phone services, or any combination of the three. As a telemarketer I quickly found out just how hard it
was to make commission through sales, let alone keep someone from hanging up on me. However, I stepped up to the
learning curve quickly by using my communication and social skills to over come the many obstacles I would face in
outbound telemarketing. Not only was I able to rise above these challenges, but I was furthermore promoted to a team
lead position where I helped coach new trainees on the sales floor answering questions, and teaching them different
techniques and communication skills to succeed in outbound telemarketing.
