According to a survey, it has been found that parents are extremely worried about their children when they are on the way to school in school bus. The key reason of worrying is increase in crime; rush driving of school bus driver etc. Hence the tracking of school bus is ultimate solution. eTechSchool Bus provides RFID based location updates of your children whether your child has reached school or not. GPS device installed in vehicle gives current location of school bus. eTechSchool Bus product is designed specifically for the real time movement tracking, knowing when students got picked or dropped from the bus. SMS alerts are sent to parents on the arrival of the bus as well as when a student is picked or dropped.

A smart card (nametag) is provided to each student. Smart Card contains student information. At the entrance of the bus, RFID card reader will be provided (Internally its connected with GPS Device). Students need to flash the smart card (nametag),

congestion, pollution (noise and air). To overcome this problem A FPGA based parking system has been
proposed. In this paper, parking system is implemented using Finite State Machine modelling. The system
has two main modules i.e. identification module and slot checking module. Identification module
identifies the visitor. Slot checking module checks the slot status. These modules are modelled in HDL
and implemented on FPGA. A prototype of parking system is designed with various interfaces like sensor
interfacing, stepper motor and LCD.

With the emergence of IoT, the concept of smart campus is widely being researched and developed. Smart campus initiative is relatively important as the campus can be considered as a small town by utilizing the same IT infrastructure as smart city. Bus tracking system is one of the initiatives in smart campus environment. One of the main issues is to assess the usability of this apps before it can be deployed widely in campus. This paper will discuss the user experiences evaluation using MeCUE technique on UMS HopIn! a bus tracking apps an initiative towards implementation of smart campus in Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The app gives user the real time location of campus buses and the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for each of the buses. Based on user evaluation it has been found that the application has meet within the expectation with most of the requirements has been fulfilled and the good of UX rating. Thus, the same approach can be applied to support the development of any future smart campus initiative.

All people want to improve their quality of life and this can be achieved only by technology. Many problems are faced by daily vehicle users in payment based parking systems, both in open air parking system where the parking is done along the streets and in closed parking system where parking is done in closed infrastructure added with entry and exit points. Delays (long queues) and accuracy in fares are the main problems faced by the users. Many solutions are proposed to solve this problem but all have their own drawbacks. In this paper a new solution is proposed based on Near Field Communication (NFC) which makes the payment system reliable and easy.

Location-aware and mapping applications have gone from a desirable feature to an essential
part of any smart phone. Whether a user is checking into a social network, looking for a
pharmacy in the middle of the night, or located in somewhere and needs help, the key is always
the same: location.
In this project, an Android mapping application is developed. The application is able to display
the map of the whole world while online or, display a pre-downloaded map while offline, track
the user’s location, display a compass to determine north, send the user’s location to others in
case of emergency using SMS, receive and interpret received location from the message, display
it on the map, and notify the user by the reception of the location.
The application was developed using agile methodology. It, met its objectives and successfully
passed 91% of the final system test, recording that some limitations were discovered, the
application needs further testing and can be implemented for particular company or university
using their own maps or editing the maps in OSM (open street maps).
In this presentation, we give an overview of the UK Pilot which is being deployed in the framework of MobiWallet (http://www.mobiwallet-project.eu/), an EU funded project addressing interoperable solutions for mobility and integrated fare management.
The project is running four pilots across Europe. One of them is located in West Midlands, UK.

Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
