Director, Global Channel Programs and Strategy 2010 — 2017
Developed global partner program from ground floor. Initiated strategic partner program to conduct joint
sales, marketing, and integration activities. Started reseller program to scale feet on the street and affiliate
program to drive leads. Created all collaterals leveraged worldwide (web site pages, logos, plaques, and
onboarding kits).
• Evangelized new global partner program strategy, operational processes for each aspect of program,
gaining finance and legal approval of strategy which launched in 2010, reducing rebates as percentage
of revenue from 7.2% to 5.4%.
• Consolidated cooperative (Co-Op) and market development funds (MDF) to Joint Marketing Funds
(JMF) Program, developing program to convert back-end rebate to contra revenue investments into
channel partners, turning blank check to partner principle to investment fund controlled, tracked, and
measured by Polycom, reducing JMF expirations from 30% to less than 1%.
• Drove change management of a global company, converting contractual entitlement to official partner
program that addressed all partner communities.
• Coordinated migration of partner data from Siebel to SFDC, managing 1 data source of record enabling
partner portal entitlements aligned with sales visibility, including data mapping (which improved account
management), web content entitlements, partner communications, and ultimately sales efficiencies.
• Crafted and executed new partner program agreements, policies, and all other partner rules of
engagement, helping Polycom to migrated direct purchasing partners into distribution and enabling
indirect partners to be profitable in-partner program.

Designed and launched new secure partner portal working across all functions of the organization.
• Collaborated across the entire organization and with IT, introducing new partner portal, serving 7K
partners worldwide allowing customized content.
