This document provides information about writing a lesson for Moodle. It outlines that each person will write a separate part of the lesson and add it to Moodle where they have teacher rights to edit. Teachers are available for help and a Moodle help desk will be running on Wednesday for additional support. The document recommends making the lesson interesting visually and including varied tasks to engage students.

2. The Task
• You will all write each part of the lesson
separately and add it to Moodle
• Each person has “teacher rights” so you
can edit your Moodle lesson
• Your Moodle expert is there to help you
and show you where to get help
• Make the lesson interesting and exciting to
look at – look at the other course video

3. Getting Lesson Help
• The teachers who shared the lessons were:

• If you are not sure you can email them or
send one person to ask them a question

4. Moodle Help Wednesday
• Mr Williams and Mrs Bound will be running
a Moodle Helpdesk during P3
• They will be in E6 (Mrs Spreadsbury)
• You may send one person along to ask a
question or get help
• You can only go to E6 if you have written
down or emailed them your problem first
• Don’t forget there are Moodle help videos
already on the course

5. Making Moodle Sticky
• Here is what to do to make students want to
use Moodle and come back to it:
– Check spellings
– Check gaps between each section
– Make the lesson look interesting by changing
fonts, styles, sizes, colours and pictures
– Add different tasks to give people a choice of
activities to do
– Add other features apart from the CADR ones
