• The Help guide should explain to a
student or teacher use the Web2.0 tool
3. Rules for the Help Guide
• Your Help Guide must be made using
software that is FREE to use
• Your Help Guide must be designed to be
SHARED with others
• Your Help Guide must cover all the MAIN
features
4. What Software?
• If you use Word, you must convert it to a PDF
file and make an E-BOOK
• If you use PowerPoint you must convert it
into a SLIDESHARE file
• If you use video you can only use SCREENR,
JING or SCREENCAST-O-MATIC
• You can combine video, print screens and
text together using IMPRESSR or other
FREE multimedia software

• Look at the UnderTenMinutes site to see how
teachers have recorded video guides
• Look at the written Helpsheets link to see step by
step helpsheets
• Look at the Checklist to see what Software you can
use
• Look at the What’s in My Guide to see the main
features you need to cover
• Look at the Top Tips sheet for tips when making a
Help Guide
6. Adding it to a Glossary
• When your Help Guide is finished you will
UPLOAD it or LINK it EMBED it to a
Glossary
• Add a title, an icon, a sentence explaining it
and your Help Guide
• Other Students will then REVIEW your Help
