concept but it has its own role in relation to the other. Data
is collected and analyzed to create information suitable for
making decisions. While knowledge is derived from
extensive amounts of experience dealing with information
on a subject. Data is the least abstract, information the
next least and knowledge the most. Data becomes
information by interpretation. Knowledge is a awareness
or understanding of information acquired through
experience.

Knowledge-

subject matter that has been acquired through proper
study and experience .
q Knowledge is usually based on learning , thinking and
proper understanding of the problem area .
q Knowledge is not information and information is not
data .
