Megatrends shaping our world
Globalization
Between 2000 and 2014, the volume of
the world commerce almost doubled.5
Urbanization
By 2050, 70% of the world’s population
will live in cities. (In 2014 – 54%)3
Demographic changes
Population is expected to grow from 7,5 2 billion to
9,63 by 2050. The average age will be 832 years.
Climate change
In the last 800.000 years, experts counted the
highest level of CO2 in the atmosphere in 20154.
Digitalization
By 2020 the digital universe will reach 44
zettabytes which is 10 thousand times more
compared to the level in 20131
