This presentation summarizes an industrial visit to Daeyu Bangladesh LTD, a spinning and yarn dyeing factory. The students visited the factory to gain practical experience in textile manufacturing processes. They observed the key processes of spinning, including top making, drawing, ring spinning, winding, doubling, twisting and reeling. In dyeing, they saw processes like hank spraying, washing, drying and heat setting to dye yarn different colors. This helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world operations in quality control, utilities and finishing. The visit gave students valuable exposure to different work areas in the textile industry.

3. Introduction
Daeyu Bangladesh LTD (unit-1) is a spinning & yarn dyeing industry.We
visited the industry at 27 February 2021. Daeyu Bangladesh Limited is
located at Dhaka EPZ with a fame of 100% export oriented composite
textile industry.

 Bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical.
 Provide opportunity for active/interactive learning experiences.
 Help enhance interpersonal skills and communication techniques.
 To better identify their prospective areas of work.
 Broaden the outlook of students with exposure to different workforces.

10. Description of spinning process
TOP Making: Here 140 – 146 degree
celcius temperature is applied to break the
tow(acrylic) & turn them into tow sliver.
Drawing: Drawing is the process of
alternating the loose assemblage of fibers
called sliver by passing it through a series of
rollers thus straitening the individual fibers &
making them more parallel.

11. Ring Process: Here required
count of yarn is produced from
the supplied roving by drafting &
twisting.
Winding: Here the yarns that
come from ring machine in bobbin
form are winded into the cone
packages.

12. Doubling: Here the single yarns
are doubled as buyer requirement. It
is the process of increasing weight
per unit length.
Twisting: Twisting is the
process where the single & double
yarns are being twisted.The
number of twist per inch is being
followed as buyer requirement.

13. Reeling: The twisted yarns
are transfered into hank form
through the process.
Auto Packing: In this
process hanks are packed in
each packet there are 50 hanks
& then the packages are
marked with tag and tied up.

14. Process sequence of Dyeing
Dyeing: Dyeing is the process of coloring the
yarn or fabric.

15. Washing: Washing is the process of
removing the extra dye particles that are
attached with the yarnfabric surface.
Machine Description:
Machine Name: Hydro Extractor.
Machine Brand: Han Young.
Origin: Korea.

16. Drying: Drying process is done after hot wash.This process
is done because of permanent settlement of the dye.

17. Heat setting: Heat setting is a process of heat
treatment applied on fabrics or yarn to increase
color fastness
Inspection: Inspection is done after heat
setting in order to check if there any faults
exists in the product

18. Finishing Section
 Only one type of finishing system is used in this industry & that is Auto packing system
 First yarn hanks are transferred from Reeling machine to Auto packing machine where
air is pressed and 50 hanks are inserted in each pack
 The face of the packs are taped with a label & they are stored in store house

Here they try to ensure product quality is maintained or improved by testing
the samples through different machines

 Gas generator: There is a gas generator which produce electricity from gas to run the
factory. It’s capacity is near 34 mega watt.
 Water boiler: There are 2 types of boiler is used to make steam. Steam is used to heat
water,dry wash. One boiler has 3 ton capacity & other has 1.5 ton capacity.

 It was a great opportunity for us to visit Daeyu Bangladesh Ltd. Unit-1
 We have got overall idea about Dyeing(yarn) and Spinning section
 Quality control manager guided us upto the end
 To enhance the industry exposure of the pariticpants, get the practicel
insights into manufacturing & to get aware of the real life
