The document presents research on the characteristics of metal-supported zeolite catalysts for hydrocracking polyethylene terephthalate (PET) using Indonesian natural zeolite modified with HCl and loaded with transition metals. Various catalysts were synthesized and characterized, with findings indicating that the Pd/zaa catalyst achieved the highest liquid product conversion of 34.05 wt% and selectivity towards gasoline fractions at 97.99 wt%. The study highlights the potential of using abundant natural zeolites in Indonesia for effective recycling of waste plastics into valuable hydrocarbons.
