 What is cylinders?
The Carding cylinder is usually manufacturer form cost iron, but is now some
time made of steel, most cylinder have a diameter of 1280-1300mm and rotate at
speed between 250-500 rpm.

 Objective of cylinder

 A brief features of single cylinder
1. Single cylinder carding machine up to 1.5 m in diameter and up to 2.5 m

Higher cylinder speed helps fiber transfer. Higher the Production higher should
be the cylinder speed.
Higher cylinder speed improve carding action, thererby imperfections are
reduced.
