1. About Me I am a graduate from University of Sheffield with the Master degree of marketing.

Beautiful Everything is a brand consultancy company and I was responsible to do
market research for the new product, an event management tool. During the
internship, I did:
competitors analysis, including listing the potential competitors, visiting their
websites and summarizing their development priorities;
user needs research, such as doing research on the market, future customers and the
problems they are trying to solve, assimilating gathered information like market
trends, research reports, customers interviews and articles and then defining a
vision for the products;
proof-reading including checking spellings, grammars and punctuations, discussing
the website layout, content and the words presented in the website;

2. Salesperson - Hua Lian, China, 2012.10 – 2012.11, part-time
A part-time job as a salesperson in charge of an electronically product assisting
children to learn English improved my communication skills. The responsibility
was mainly involved in presenting the usefulness of the product to the parents and
teaching children to use the products.
When communicating with parents, I mentioned the importance of English
pronunciation and the right way to practice it, which can be achieved by the assist
of the product. And when talking with children under 10 years, simple and funny
words were used.

This group program gave me an opportunity to apply my analytical skills into
practice where I observed a local boutique and interviewed the owner and the
customers to find the gaps between the perceptions of the owner and customers
towards user experience, store design and social media marketing etc. Having a
conversion with the owner is valuable to have a good understand of the business
model, the concepts behind the retail design and problems facing the store.
I was mainly responsible for social media marketing analysis where besides the
feedback from clients, quantitative information was also gathered from Google
Analytics and the social media accounts of the boutique. In order to gain the edge
information, I read reports and case studies about SEO, Facebook advertising,
content marketing and email promotion and then provided specific suggestions for
the store.

integrating various social media accounts, generating valued content and
monitoring performance.
