Main project features: Improve conditions of sanitation, environment, poverty and
community development in two towns of Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan
province. The project aims to improve the water supply, drainage,
sanitation and solid waste services. The program will also enhance
community participation in planning, developing, operating and
maintaining urban services, raise environmental awareness;
increase the management capacity of District and District’s Urban
Public Works Management Unit. The solid waste component is one
of the components of the project, the general component’s aims to
ensure almost all of solid waste to be collected, dumped in the
sanitation landfill and environment protected when the landfill
closed.

Activities performed:  Reviewing the project’s documents, including: Construction

information is the sanitation landfill in Tuy Phong District has

 The subject of this assignment is a consultancy in order to
review the cost estimation and detailed design of the

- Which construction components have been omitted in the
cost estimation when compared to the original 4 cells
landfill design?
- Are the unit rates and calculations in the cost estimation

Government’s National Target Program (NTP) for RWSS.
The development objectives of the overall RWSS Program
interventions are to contribute to improving the quality of life and

and sanitation related behaviour, and capacity building.
The development objective of this Project is to improve water and
household level sanitation services and their effective use in
