and rehabilitation of the oil-contaminated site with an area of 130 ha in the North Shore and North
Interception Lake of Boyukshore”

• In Project we created geodatabase of project area; Existing maps were collected and geo-referenced, also analyzed.

3rd Pilot Project Concept - Implementation of European Union (EU) Flood Directive in Zayamchay
River sub-basin (Central Kura Basin Area, Azerbaijan)

Main project features: The implementation of the Floods Directive in the Central Kura River Basin District can be looked
upon as a follow-up to the action plan of Azerbaijan within the program of cooperation with EU, where Azerbaijan committed
itself to make all efforts to implement the EU directives, including Floods Directive. Flooding is a major issue in the pilot
project basin and a systematic approach to Flood Risk and Flood Hazard needs to be developed. This study will be the first
in Azerbaijan to be carried out in compliance with the Floods Directive and to be undertaken in conjunction with the
development of a compliant RBMP for the pilot project.
Activities Performed: Firstly, existing maps of project area were collected and geo-referenced. Also analysed-the Soil,
Geological, Geomorphological, Vegetation, Forest and Land-Use structure, covering a River Basin. In project we created
geodatabase and made thematically maps (Climate, Geological, Relief, Soil, Geomorphological, Hydrography, Population,
Vegetation, Topographical plans) based on RS and Topographical data. Created “Map of the Vulnerable Areas to Flooding”,
Flood Hazard Map, Map of Flood Risks etc.

Name of Project: “Reconstruction and Expansion of Water Supply and Sewerage systems of Khirdalan City” Project
Year: 2015
Location: Azerbaijan Republic, Khirdalan city
Client: Saudi Development Fund and Government of Azerbaijan, “Azersu” OJSC
Main project features: The Water Supply and Sewerage systems in Khirdalan city is great importance for population. The
project helped the Government in meeting the requirements of this site in the selected area, improvement of healthcare and
Environment. The main objective of the project is to increase the quality of the water supply, the Reliability and stability. In
general, both in carrying out of construction works, as well as in solution of variety of other engineering issues the
theoretical and methodological side of geodesic fields.
Activities Performed: We created technical report of topographical works which carried out for clarification of geodesic
Network existing in project area. The basis of the geodesic works which carried out by us constituted the results of the initial
project. For that purpose necessary documents were examined in details and had been used different software of GIS, and
also had been used modern Geodesy tools. The geodesic works carried out at Khirdalan city area were executed.
According to the catalogue of geodetic network points coordinates and altitudes the TIN of the project area was set and
based on Geostatistical Analysis was carried out and interpolate of points were executed.

use. Project also provides awareness raising among local communities and local authorities on sustainable forest
management its relation and impact on other fields such as climate change, poverty reduction, sustainable development.
Activities Performed: In project we developed geodatabase of the project area, and also created digital elevation model
(DEM) and made the different maps by using topographical and remote sensing data.

Activities Performed: The Project realized by State Committee on Property Issues of Azerbaijan Republic (Real Estate

about the real estates. System made on the basis orthophoto. The problems in project had been solved and were
presented 3 albums report to the client. In connection with expansion and reorganization of Seaside park of Baku city
created geodatabase by using ArcGIS. The spatial data of the real estates of adjoining territories has been obtained by
means of module Stereo Analyse. The areas of the covered territories are defined also.
