Ahmed Al Nammourh is a Palestinian civil engineer and GIS expert with over 15 years of experience in surveying, GIS, photogrammetry, and remote sensing projects. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. He has worked on numerous projects for municipalities, NGOs, and private companies in the West Bank and abroad. Currently, he is the founder and manager of AL-IHTERAF Company for Surveying and Geomatics, and teaches part-time at An-Najah National University.

Photogrammetry projects: executing photogrammetry projects in various locations which cover more than 7
cities and villages with more than 55 Km2. The outputs of photogrammetry projects prepared according to

GIS Projects: according to particular technical specifications and standards of accuracy, consistency,
interoperability concepts, the following GIS projects are executed:
oConducting GIS project for four large Municipalities (Tulkarm, Qalqilia, Salfit, and Tubas), as GIS and
Engineering Survey Expert, prepared GIS profile and building all particular spatial data in the system
which collected from the field, documents and plans archived in the municipalities.
oCreating GIS database of lands (parcels and blocks), infrastructure entries, including electricity and water
networks, topographic characteristics, and features and services. Working on those databases for Qalqilia
Base Map, Master plan, land administrative, tourism and navigation maps. In addition, applying geometric
network analysis on electricity and water networks.
oBuilding transportation database in GIS environment, which covers overall the West Bank’s road
networks to be used for navigation and tracking applications.
oWorking with Directorate of Agriculture to collect data and analysis the water resources and land uses in
Qalqilia regions, this by utilizing GPS techniques and through applying remote sensing concepts.
Survey projects: utilizing advanced platforms (Arc GIS, and Civil 3D), depending on the availability of GPS
receivers, and with take care about the concepts and conditions of accurate Survey works, and about the
correct principles of collecting and analyzing data, and visualization the outputs according to cartography
principles. The following projects are accomplished:
oCreating network of second order of Ground Control Points (GCP), using GPS (relative approach).
Numbers of GCP exceed 240 points distributed over various locations.
oAccomplished digital planimetric and topographic maps for 9 Train Stations in KSA which covers more
than 10 km2. The outputs are linked to Google Earth.
oAccomplished (As Builds Plans) for locations with heavy data presented (e.g. markets, and gardens). The
plans exhibit the geographic and manmade features for more than 1km2
