Projects
1. ANSEE(ASTROIDS NETWORK SECURITY & SOFTWARE ENHANCEMENTS)
 The system is designed for secure information dissemination between the
users of Army Headquarter, Commands and Corps and also enables to
exchange information within a node.
 The ANSSE/ASTROIDS-II is a system integration project and is aimed to
strengthening the basic infrastructure for Indian Army and providing
support to various user groups like Military operations, Logistics and
Intelligence etc.
 ANSSE is a MIS & GIS based application with requisite system access
control and data security provisions. The application is capable of
handling graphic data for vector & raster maps in terms of creation &
transfer of over lays along with associated database information. 3D
graphics, satellite images and UAV clips.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Loading RHEL 5.4 Operating system in the ANSEE server.
 Loading of Oracle 10g specific to ASTROIDS system.
 Loading instructionsfor application and GIS for ASTROIDS/ANSSE.
 Interacting with development team and giving level 2 Support for testing
and deployment of various GIS applications on a 24x7 basis.
 Analyzing server health check-upon Weekly basis.
2. INCP(INTEGRATED NATIONAL COMMAND POST)
 A GIS based application - to carry out briefing on latest situation, threats
and incidents.
 Stores, displays, manipulates and annotates raster data and overlays
Operational informational on vector maps.

 Installation & Configuration of RHEL 6.0 as per the INCP requirement.

 This is a pilot project for Indian army ops room and its includes installation
of Oracle Database for Geo Maps on client server model intranet FTP &
Publishing of Maps and workstations for digitization of maps
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Installation and troubleshooting of all the hardware including Servers
and Desktop.
 Installation and configuration Red hat Linux on server and clientseither
remotely or locally.
 Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Samba share for
windows client.
 Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of FTP server.
 Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Apache server.
 Installation, configuration of LVM.
Inhouse IT infrastructure Administration.
 Establishing proper change & Configuration management in the
infrastructure to minimize the occurrence of any down time.
 Consistently evaluating vendor performance specification and supply of
quality material / execution of job works.
