TIMELESS DESIGN
Remains Lighting recently added the
Scofield Collection to a majority of
its showrooms across the country.
The line pays homage to Richard
D. Scofield, who founded Scofield
Lighting and based his designs off
early-American and traditional-Euro-
pean lighting. A selection of the hand-
crafted chandeliers, sconces, lanterns
and flush-mounted fixtures, all made
with hand-operated equipment, is now
on display at Remains’ Greenwich
showroom. 44 West Putnam Ave.,
Greenwich, 203-629-1000,

Schwartz Design Showroom
isn’t wasting any time. Last fall, the
interior design resource opened
its 5,500-square-foot space in
Stamford, and not six months later,
it’s welcoming the Shine by S.H.O
collection, created by designer
Susan Hornbeak-Ortiz. Boasting
edgy designs and a playful array of
silhouettes and geometric shapes,
the line is in good company with
Schwartz’s already expansive selec-
tion of home décor. 330 Fairfield
Ave., Stamford, 203-817-0433,
