Their minor styles were visual, tactile, and individual. There were statistically significant differences in learning styles between 3 programs, but no differences between the other 3 programs. The study provides implications for teachers to incorporate different teaching styles like group work and role plays to match students' preferred learning styles.

An Adaptive Evaluation System to Test Student Caliber using Item Response Theory
Computational creativity research has produced many computational systems that are
described as creative [1]. A comprehensive literature survey reveals that although such systems are
labelled as creative, there is a distinct lack of evaluation of the Creativity of creative systems [1].
Nowadays, a number of online testing websites exist but the drawback of these tests is that every
student who gives a particular test will always be given the same set of questions irrespective of their
caliber. Thus, a student with a very high Intelligence Quotient (IQ) may be forced to answer basic
level questions and in the same way weaker students may be asked very challenging questions which
they cannot response. This method of testing results into a wastage of time for the high IQ students
and can be quite frustrating for the weaker students. This would never benefit a teacher to understand
a particular student’s caliber for the subject under Consideration. Each learner has different learning
status and therefore different test items should be used in their evaluation. This paper proposes an
Adaptive Evaluation System developed based on an Item Response Theory and would be created for
mobile end user keeping in mind the flexibility of students to attempt the test from anywhere. This
application would not only dynamically customize questions for students based on the previous
question he/she has answered but also by adjusting the degree of difficulty for test questions
depending on student ability, a teacher can acquire a valid & reliable measurement of student’s
competency.

IRJET- Using Data Mining to Predict Students Performance

Predicting student performance using aggregated data sources
In this study, the effect of combining variables from the different data sources for student academic performance prediction was examined using three state-of-the–art classifiers: Decision Tree (DT), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The study examined the use of heterogeneous multi-model ensemble techniques to predict student academic performance based on the combination of these classifiers and three different data sources. A quantitative approach was used to develop the various base classifier models while the ensemble models were developed using stacked generalisation ensemble method in order to overcome the individual weaknesses of the different models. Variables were extracted from the institution’s Student Record System and Learning Management System (Moodle) and from a structured student questionnaire. At present, negligible work has been done using this integrated approach and ensemble techniques especially with aggregated learner data in performance prediction in HE. This study examined the ability of a college aptitude test (CAT) and high school GPA to predict students' academic performance in their first year of college, as measured by first-year GPA. The study found that both CAT scores and high school GPA were positively correlated with first-year college GPA. Multiple regression analyses also showed that CAT scores alone were a significant predictor of first-year GPA, explaining 37.3% of variance. Adding high school GPA to the model further improved predictive power, explaining 47% of variance in first-year GPA. The results support the use of both CAT scores and high school GPA in admission decisions and predicting students' future academic performance.

The study examined the use of heterogeneous multi-model ensemble techniques to predict student academic performance based on the combination of these classifiers and three different data sources. A quantitative approach was used to develop the various base classifier models while the ensemble models were developed using stacked generalisation ensemble method in order to overcome the individual weaknesses of the different models. Variables were extracted from the institution’s Student Record System and Learning Management System (Moodle) and from a structured student questionnaire. Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune Disease
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

The total marks allocated to this section shall be 30 out of 200 Part 'B' shall contain subject-related conventional MCQs. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 70 out of 200. The maximum number of questions to be attempted shall be in the range of 25-35. Part 'C' shall contain higher value questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 100 out of 200. A negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be @ 25% The new pattern shall be implemented from June, 2011 exam Model Question Papers in the new format shall be made available along with Notification for the June, 2011 exam.
