The paper presents the MDSRRC (Modified Decrease Support of R.H.S. item of Rule Clusters) algorithm, which aims to hide sensitive association rules in databases while preserving data quality. The approach focuses on modifying a minimum number of transactions to achieve this, ensuring that sensitive information is concealed without generating new non-sensitive rules. Experimental results demonstrate that MDSRRC outperforms previous methods like DS-RRC by effectively maintaining the integrity of the dataset while achieving privacy goals.
