2. Killer:
1. His signature mask will be an all black skull. We chose this as it is sinister
and freaky. Furthermore, it is different to all other slashers, adding to our
originality. It was important we found a mask that will scare our audience, to
ensure they will remember it. As, the mask it what makes a slasher iconic
and memorable.
2. He will be wearing an all black costume. A black hoodie will ensure none of
his skin or hair will be visibly. His clothes will be loosely fitted to make him
seem larger and more dominant. By wearing an all black costume, it can
reflect the personality of our killer as black symbolises evil and cold souls.
Yet, it also connotes death; a key part to our slasher. The black also allows
him to blend into the darkness of the night, making it harder for him to be
seen by the victims; reinforcing the idea of him always being able to lurk and

3. Black leather gloves will also be used. These are commonly used in murders so
that the police are unlikely to find evidence of the killer. This can therefore create fear
for our antagonist as he is a brutal mass murderer who is able to get away with it.
Leather is a smooth and slick material, similar to the way in which our killer attacks
his victims, as if he is a professional.
4. We have decided to use an axe for our killers weapon. It will create a symbiosis
between the setting and the killer. Furthermore, the axe will add to the brutality of the
killings as we would assosciate them with cutting down trees. Therefore, it will be an
easy job to kill humans with it. It also adds to the gore as an axe is a thick bladed
weapon, we imagine the killer will be butchering the humans.
5. Character of Amelia:
1.As she will be the sacrificial lamb, she is the female which will be over
sexualised from the rest. She will be wearing light colours as it makes her stand
out from the rest of the group as she always wants to be centre of attention. This
is what also attracts the eyes of the killer, making him want to kill her first. The
light colours will also be more effective when he kills her, as it makes the blood
seem more vivid and gruesome; perfect for a slasher fan as the more brutal, the
better.
2.Her clothing will be tight to reveal her figure; to over sexualise her character. Her
death in the film will be due to her carefree behavior; her costume plays a role in
this as her top will be low cut to highlight her curves.
6. Character Of Amelia;
Makeup; She will wear a lot of makeup to emphasises her femininity. She will also
contrast to the other girls as they are more natural; mirroring the plain and
sensible personalities compared to Amelias party-animal lifestyle.
Her red lipstick will symbolise her passion. As the colour red is closely related with
sex, it is also attention grabbing mirroring how she likes to be centre of attention.
Yet, it could also mirror the blood and gore of slasher and how her blood will be
shed for her attention craved behavior.
Inspiration for this character came from Paris Hilton's character from the House Of
Wax as she is a ditzy blonde who has one of the most memorable deaths of the
film. She is almost a comical character for the audience as we know she will not
survive to face the killer.
