Harry: Black suit, trilby hat, black shoes, cross necklace – Black suit to give reference to Harry Lime from The Third Man because he is a mysterious character, trilby hat covers his face to hide his identity which keeps the audience in suspense and makes them unsure of his personality. The cross necklace insinuates that he is a Christian and therefore might have a split personality, which ties in with the double identity theme.

5. Props and Objects Skateboard - In our opening to a thriller film we have used props such as a skateboard in order to hear the diegetic sounds of the wheels rolling creating a sense of danger. Bag – The bag connotes theft and an obstruction of privacy that audiences of this day and age fear the most. Cigarettes – We have used cigarettes to indicate the toughness and rebalance of the character Harry. It symbolises toughness of this character
