2. My artist will be wearing dark colours, due to the
spotlights in the live performance. By using dark
clothing there will be more focus drawn to the
artist. A black jumper will assist in creating an
outline of her body this is so attention revolves
around the artist than her clothing, this ties in
with the meaning behind the song.
Dark jeans will also be worn however this item will
not be captured in the frame. I believe these
items of clothing are simple and effective, similar
to my original artist Emeli Sande’s style.
While during the narrative footage my performer
wears a purple coat making her stand out in
comparison to the male actor. Also in referring to
my colour connotation purple is deemed as a
luxury colour and makes her a strong individual.

3. My artist will be wearing a ring to
symbolize commitment, trust and
loyalty. The song refers to loyalty
and trust I believe the use of a ring
has many representations. By
using extreme close ups of her
finger playing the keys, the ring
will be more noticeable creating an
interesting composition.

4. I plan to use more of a natural look in comparison
to other artists who use make-up to create
emphasis on their eyes or lips. While in my
video little make-up will be used this makes
her more of a real individual, also to refer the
original meaning of the song.
