Overview

Photobook - The brief

       Find an object and 2 photographs.
       Using a digital camera take several photos of the same object from
       different angles and save the files using standard naming conventions
       (minimum of 4 photos).
       Use a scanner to scan the 2 photographs (colour or greyscale or lineart),
       make note and use metadata tags to store the scanner settings within the
       image file and save using standard naming conventions.
       Use Photoshop to combine the above object photographs and the scanned
       photograph in one image file, in a way that shows you have an
       understanding of visual design and communication principles.
       Create a Photobook showing all of the above images, record the settings,
       metadata here as well. It should be a single-page book with a navigation
       system on each page (next, previous, home). The size of Photobook is up
       to you.

Objectives

       To create a photobook with interactive features such as page curls.
       Navigation and Master pages to be applied.
       Manipulating photographs with Photoshop.
       Exploring InDesign.

Schedule and Budget

Friday 17th of August 2012 Target date.
