TRACE ITS HISTORY RIGHT FROM THE TIME OF
ITS INCEPTION
• Hospitality refers to the relationship between a guest and a host, wherein the
host receives the guest with goodwill, including the reception and
entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers. In India/Nepal hospitality is
based on the principle Atithi Devo Bhava, meaning "the guest is God". This
principle is shown in a number of stories where a guest is revealed to be a god
who rewards the provider of hospitality. From this stems the Indian or Nepal
practice of graciousness towards guests at home and in all social situations.

Pre-arrival
• On the pre-arrival stage hotel created every guests reservation record.
• Front office collected all data of arrivals.
• We asked housekeeping to clean the rooms.
• We prepared our rooms for guest stay.
• On reception we greeted the guest and ask for his name.
• We checked his name and room no. and asked his to fill the form.
• He filled the GRC (Guest Registration card).
• We have taken documents from her (I.D Proof,aadhar card).
• Housekeeping is a backbone of a hotel. Housekeeping department is responsible for the
upkeep and maintenance of the entire hotel. One of the first impressions a guest forms
when he walks into a hotel is a reflection on the housekeeping department - how clean well
maintained the surroundings are .No hotel can function without this department because it
oversees everything from guest rooms, public areas, laundry, linen, horticulture and flower
arrangement, and maintenance housekeeping machinery which is now becoming
increasingly high-tech.

  • 6. • Hospitality refers to the relationship between a guest and a host, wherein the host receives the guest with goodwill, including the reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers. In India/Nepal hospitality is based on the principle Atithi Devo Bhava, meaning "the guest is God". This principle is shown in a number of stories where a guest is revealed to be a god who rewards the provider of hospitality. From this stems the Indian or Nepal practice of graciousness towards guests at home and in all social situations.

  • 24. Pre-arrival • On the pre-arrival stage hotel created every guests reservation record. • Front office collected all data of arrivals. • We asked housekeeping to clean the rooms. • We prepared our rooms for guest stay.

  • 36. • Housekeeping is a backbone of a hotel. Housekeeping department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the entire hotel. One of the first impressions a guest forms when he walks into a hotel is a reflection on the housekeeping department - how clean well maintained the surroundings are .No hotel can function without this department because it oversees everything from guest rooms, public areas, laundry, linen, horticulture and flower arrangement, and maintenance housekeeping machinery which is now becoming increasingly high-tech.
