8. Background of organization
– Initially, the cooperative was originated in 2024 B.S. in the
name of ‘Krishi Bikas’
– It was named as ‘Sana Kishan Bikash Aayojana’ in 2034
B.S
– The cooperative was registered in Government Act 2048 in
the division office with its existing name of ‘Sana kishan
krishi sahakari sastha Ltd.’
– It was finally established in 2052/10/19 B.S
9. Objectives
– To alleviate poverty
– To increase active participation of small farmers
in cooperative
– To enhance skills for optimum utilization of local
resources
– To uplift the social and economic status of

– Should be the residence of Rapti municipality at
least two years
– Should come in a group of 5
– Should deposit Rs1000 for membership

– Total number of shares-2600
– Minimum monthly deposit starts from Rs100
– Maximum monthly deposit -10% of share
– For loan withdrawal one should have his deposit of 3% of loan intake
– Provide loan through mortgaging of property-60% land valuation
– No trade of share but could be transferred
– Insurance provision: in case of sudden death-Rs10,000
accident-Rs3,000-Rs4,000
– Provide bonus - 15% of total profit
– Payment of debt on instalment
