3. Introduction :
Villages and rivers are the backbone of Bangladesh.
There are about 68,000 villages in Bangladesh. Most of
the people still live in Bangladesh village. Life here is
slow, air and food is fresh as opposed to the cities.
4. Location :
The name of our village is Phulpur. It is a renowned village in
the district of Mymensingh. Nature has adorned her with
green trees and meadows. The beautiful scenes and the
natural environment feed the eyes of the viewers. To me it is
the happy land of dream.
5. Population :
About Ten thousand people live in the village. The inhabitants
of the village are mostly Muslims. A scheduled caste Hindu
family also live here. The inhabitants live in the village in
peace and amity. They are much helpful and co-operative.
They help each other.
6. Occupation :
Village life is plain and simple. Villagers are content
with the necessities of life. Most of the peoples are
farmer, business man The vast majority of the villagers
belong to the poor working class. They are poor
peasants, landless laborers, the artisans, the
blacksmiths, the weavers, fishermen and such others.
Those who are rich are erase loving and lead an idle
life.
7. Communication & Institutions :
The means of communication of our village is highly
developed. A semi pucca road runs though the village
linking the inter-district road that leads to different
directions to other districts. One can easily go along
this road to the district town
Our village is very much developed in respect of
education. There are a lot of educational institutions.
There are a lot of educational institutions in our
village. The village has a college, two high schools,
three primary schools, a Dakhil Madrasahaw,

Village life is the happiest compromise between the natural and the
artificial. It is a merry game between man and nature. Hence, village
life is the most natural life for the human beings.
There is also a market in the village. The daily market sits everyday
and the hat sits twice in a week. People buy their daily necessaries
from the market. There is also a charitable dispensary in the village.
9. Conclusion :
we are proud of our village. We all love our
village with all the warmth of our hearts. We
are happy to have been born in such a
beautiful village.
