This document summarizes a presentation about constructability and successful implementation of a construction project while preserving existing trees. It discusses how the builder, Clayco, coordinated with the design, engineering, and arborist teams through techniques like BIM laser scanning, arborist walkthroughs, tree protection plans, and preconstruction meetings. Key challenges involved crane access roads, excavating around a bald cypress tree, and rerouting a stormwater line to preserve trees. Through education, coordination between teams, and maintaining a collective goal of tree preservation, the project was able to be built while saving extra trees on site.
