Colleges of education graduates a panacea to middle level manpowerAlexander Decker
This document summarizes a study that investigated the role of graduates from colleges of education in supplying teachers in Nigerian schools. The study found that stakeholders such as school heads, education ministry officials, and private school owners strongly preferred hiring college of education graduates over other teachers. College graduates were seen as more disciplined and dedicated. Their job performance, especially their pedagogical skills, was viewed as outstanding. The document recommends expanding college facilities, extending teacher training programs, and periodically updating college curricula to further strengthen the role of colleges of education in developing quality teachers for Nigeria's education system.
The document discusses the education system in Pakistan. It notes that education is overseen by the Ministry of Education and provided at the primary, middle, secondary, higher secondary, and university levels. However, literacy rates remain low, with only 63% of children completing primary school and adult literacy at around 21%. The education system faces issues like lack of properly trained teachers, inadequate facilities, and financial barriers. Improving the education system is important for national development in Pakistan.

The document discusses conceptualizing institutional policies that can promote students' academic success in Cambodian universities. It analyzes theories by Astin and Tinto regarding factors that influence student outcomes. The document proposes a conceptual model incorporating 10 variables as predictors: demographic factors, prior schooling, English proficiency, goal commitment, institutional commitment, academic integration, social integration, curricular involvement, faculty interaction, and peer group interaction. These variables are linked to student input, environment, and outcomes based on the theories. The model aims to guide research on institutional policies supporting Cambodian students' academic achievement and retention.

Resource Management Practices as a Facet of Principalship and The Attainment ...ijtsrd
The study assessed the extent to which Principalship Practices in Resource influence the Attainment of School Objectives in Cameroon. Inspired by Imogene’s Goal Attainment theory and The Principalship Model for the Attainment of School Objectives, the study was guided by three objectives, answered three questions and tested three hypotheses. The survey research design and the post positivist quantitative and qualitative research mixed triangulation method were applied and with a questionnaire and interview guide data was collected from 326 principals. Proportionate and Purposive sampling technique was employed to select 31 and 10 principals from the two regions South West and Littoral . Applying descriptive Frequencies, percentages, tables and pie chart and inferential statistics to analyzed data, the results revealed that principalship practices in resource management influences the attainment of school objectives to the extent of 73.76 . This influence is comparatively strongest in financial resource management with the extent of 96.25 , above average in human resource management with extent of 73.04 and the weakest but average is material resource management with the extent of 59.68 . From the findings recommendations were made to the Ministry of secondary education to restructure their policy on principalship. The document summarizes the scope and purpose of the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) in India. It was established in the 1980s to improve teaching standards and ensure only qualified candidates enter the profession. The test determines eligibility for lectureship positions and junior research fellowships. It is conducted by the UGC and covers subjects like social work, economics, history, languages and more. Candidates who pass the NET or State Level Eligibility Test are eligible for lectureships nationwide or within their state, respectively. Those who pass the junior research fellowship component may also obtain teaching positions and receive research funding. The test evaluates teaching and research aptitude through sections on those topics, as well as reading comprehension and communication skills.

Influence of Accreditation on Physical Facilities and Quality Assurance in Ni...YogeshIJTSRD
The general work of the university among other things includes teaching, good physical properties and quality assurance. Universities are recognized as a place to study, collect and impart knowledge and skills of all kinds to students to enable them to be productive upon graduation, to make a living and to make positive contributions to the development of the country. Quality has become a very important issue in university education in Nigeria. Authorization is a systematic review of education systems to ensure that appropriate levels of education, bursaries and physical resources are maintained. Accreditation ensures that the institution maintains quality. The process is designed to determine whether the institution has met or exceeded published standards of accreditation and whether it is fulfilling its stated purpose and purpose. Quality assurance in ensuring the accreditation process falls into the hands of university administrators in general which has created a need for this research. This study examined institutional accreditation and quality assurance its management perspective. It was found among others that the quality of the guaranteed program depends on the level of funding for Nigerian universities. It was also shown that the quality of program accreditation and the resources of Nigerian universities are highly correlated. However, it was also revealed that the accreditation of the program was closely related to staff at Nigerian universities. The study was based on theory but took up large areas of practice during exercise. Obi, Yves-Mary V | Muo, M.

To Study the Role of Quality Management System to Improve Effectiveness of Qu...lalikjan
Quality Management System (QMS) is a permanent feature of all renowned universities of the world. Earlier it was perceived that Quality Management is only an area which may be applied in manufacturing and other Engineering sectors of life. However, now this trend has been changed and quality assurance agencies of the world are giving due emphasis to apply QMS in education industry. This cultural change ultimately improves the quality of education and services as well. Higher Education of Pakistan has taken revolutionary steps in this regard and now Quality Assurance program is running in good number of universities of Public and private sectors. As per Higher Education Commission compulsions, all public and private universities of Pakistan are required to establish their Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs). There are multiple challenges, hindrances and reluctant behaviors in the way of QMS. The first and important hurdle is the cultural change and i.e quality culture. Furthermore, the implementation of quality culture may measure and evaluate educational performance of the process, and may be used for the evaluation of strengths and weaknesses. This programme may contribute for credibility and standardization of academic programmes. Different world wide recognized quality parameters like ISO 9001-2008, International Workshop Agreement-2 (IWA-2) certification may be accredited to different university programmes. This will increase the level of motivation, credibility and recognition both for students and the teachers. A thorough study has been conducted in university of Karachi (International Relations Department) Pakistan and existing trends, facts and quality culture parameters are evaluated in this paper.
