Consensus decision making is a process where experts discuss various solutions and vote in rounds to narrow the options down until a clear preferred solution emerges with majority support. The procedure involves the knowledge developer first explaining potential solutions, then experts vote in rounds to reduce the alternatives until only two options remain, at which point a final vote determines the consensus solution.
