The documents show the configuration of VLANs on a network switch. VLANs named Sales, Marketing, Finance and Staff were created and ports were assigned to each VLAN to separate network traffic. Ports 1-5 were assigned to VLAN 10 (Sales), ports 6-10 to VLAN 20 (Marketing), ports 11-15 to VLAN 30 (Finance) and the remaining ports to VLAN 40 (Staff). This partitions the switch ports into different virtual LANs to allow communication within groups but prevent it across groups.
