Concept art production

Development of my digital graphic.
• I had done six different sword when I started my sketches
for my game, then I decided to break them down so I
choose the best three and then asked my classmates
which one I should pick and got my final results, I wasn’t
happy with it then I asked my classmates which swords is
best suitable for adventure games and told them what
art style I was planning to do the theme of the game and
surprisingly many changed their mind and picked the
final sword that I have up now and I was happy that I had
people agree with me so that was my final choice.
• After I was happy with my sword and I done my sketches
and I improved it I had to scan it and send it to my email
then I opened my file on to Pixlr then traced it with
sketchpad which was connected to the computer. I used
•

the paint brush because my game is very colourful since
my setting is space and my art style for this game is cell
shading so I wanted to make it cartoony because of my
targetaudience.
The colours I used was black red and blue, and I put the
blue at the end because when you think of space the
colours that comes in to your head is dark colours so I
used black and blue for that reason also when you look
at some planets they are red so I thought I would paint it
red in the middleat the end I went on to add some stars
to make it unique and not look like any type of sword.
