Style sheet-fonts
I chose these different fonts since all of them have some form of contrast between one
another, but all look beautiful to the eye. I chose fonts that provide an insight on the different
way I could personally edit my own type of font with different patterns. Additionally, having
different things through the text is something I like so the sword one gives inspiration to new
ideas that I could create.
Style sheet-colours
These colours would be a variance between types of armour, machines, and
ships. It allows me to look at how I could look at a landscape and not just
make it earth colour but put my own touch into it. Same with armour, similar
to how karate has different belts I could use different armour colour to show
their skills
Connotations of the colours reflect the personality of what I would put it on. Purple is
mostly associated with nobility, luxury and ambition. This would mostly be used on the
king and parts of his castle I plan to have in my project. Red is mostly associated with
energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.
This could be seen mostly within the faction of war I have in my project, and how I
could use mostly red for their flag. The colour orange is normally associated with
enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success,
encouragement, and stimulation. This could be used in farm lands and areas where
people feel free in my projects universe. The colour green is mostly known for nature
but can also be associated with growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. This can also
be associated with farming but could also be used for those who have escaped the king
and have found peace. Green also has strong emotional correspondence with safety.
Additionally, dark green is also commonly associated with money. The colour blue is
mostly associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom,
confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. This could be used for a variety of
thing like the faction of research in my project and used on different soldiers that have
earnt their leaders trust.
Style sheet-images
This image shows the types of character designs I
could create with some form of motion like the
wind or gravitational affect. It also provides a form
of how I can create different human poses with
different emotions. Finally, it also shows a decent
image of how blood would run down a face after an
injury
To create an image similar to this in Photoshop I
would begin by using the brush tool to sketch a
rough base for the character model and use the
pencil tool to create tiny details that are large
enough to be recognizable. To colour the image I
would use a mix of the gradient tool, layers and
editing the opacity of them to create shadows, blur
and smudge tool to mix and fade different colours
through each other.
Style sheet-images
These two images provide a clear image for how
I could design my weapons in my product. On
one hand, I could make it clear and bright or dull
but with emotion in it. The left gun shows a form
of skill and understanding but the one on the
right shows anger and brute force
To create an image similar to these images in Photoshop I would begin by using the pencil
tool at around size 1-2 to sketch a rough base for the gun model and use the pencil tool at
size 1 to create tiny details that are large enough to be recognizable. To colour the image I
would use a mix of the gradient tool, layers and editing the opacity of them to create
shadows, blur and smudge tool to mix and fade different colours through each other.
Style sheet-images
This image shows the variation I’m able to have
between ships and the way I can create them. The
left one shows the different shapes and weapons
along with the types of engines and fuel types I can
use. On the right it shows what can be used a colony
ship with all the different segments to maintain life
for decades. A carrier that’s to be used for war to
either release tonnes of fighters, bombers, and
interceptors. Or a ground assault vehicle that can
transport tones of mechanized weapons. These both
provide a beautiful insight on what can be created
and the imaginations view on of I could create my
own ship with obvious difference but with enough
shape to understand what type of ship I could be.
To create a design similar to this in Photoshop I would begin
by using the brush tool to sketch a rough base for the ships
model and use the pencil tool to create tiny details that are
large enough to be recognizable. To colour the image I
would use a mix of the gradient tool, layers and editing the
opacity of them to create shadows, blur and smudge tool to
mix and fade different colours through each other.
Additionally, to add different blocks of colour I would use
the lasso tool to select a certain area where I could work
within without the worry of colours and lines going onto
areas of the design I don’t want them. Finally, if I wanted it
to shine off the floor like the image I would complete the
ships design, copy and paste it into another layer, flip it
upside-down, match it up to the bottom of the original
drawing, then lower the opacity to make it look like a
reflection.
Layout 1- graphic
novel
With this layout I will be able
to look back at it as a template
since I drew them out and I will
understand the techniques
used and what tool will help in
certain areas. It additionally,
allows me to understand how I
should order my work and help
with my time management of
the project.

With all the research I’ve
conducted this layout is
unique to the other posters
I’ve found, mainly since I’ve
got a lot more writing
potential text than the
other posters. Additionally,
there isn’t a large image in
the background like my
researched posters instead
they’re small images on the
page.

Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Losing work on memory stick Backup work to at least two different things so
you don’t lose all the work.
Computer crashing Making sure you save regularly
lose of certain bits of work make sure to either back stuff up, save links for
references, and take pictures of images you
certainly need
Not having access to certain programs at home Do everything you can’t do at home during
class, then what you can do, complete at home.
Timing If you know you wont have enough time to
complete work in class. Either complete some
of it at home or, ask your tutor if you could join
their classes that you’re not in to gain extra
time
not enough storage to give your work in Make sure if your work is getting to large to
regularly ask for the class memory stick to give
in, or invest in your own memory stick.
Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Computer overheating Make sure you take breaks every 2-3 hours
Spilling liquid with conductivity on the keyboard
which could lead to electrocution
Keep any food and liquids away form the
keyboards and computer in general
Tripping over bags or dangled items over
chairs
Have a coat rack and also have bags be put
under tables
Back strain when sitting in one position for to
long
make sure to move around regularly and don’t
stay in the same position for to long
eye strain when staring at the screen for to
long
take regular breaks
hand pains when doing the same repetitive
action for a continued amount of time like
drawing on an ipad or with a mouse
don’t do the same activity for to long, make
sure to take breaks and change up what you’re
doing

This can also be associated with farming but could also be used for those who have escaped the king and have found peace. Green also has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Additionally, dark green is also commonly associated with money. The colour blue is mostly associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. This could be used for a variety of thing like the faction of research in my project and used on different soldiers that have earnt their leaders trust.
  • 4. Style sheet-images This image shows the types of character designs I could create with some form of motion like the wind or gravitational affect. It also provides a form of how I can create different human poses with different emotions. Finally, it also shows a decent image of how blood would run down a face after an injury To create an image similar to this in Photoshop I would begin by using the brush tool to sketch a rough base for the character model and use the pencil tool to create tiny details that are large enough to be recognizable. To colour the image I would use a mix of the gradient tool, layers and editing the opacity of them to create shadows, blur and smudge tool to mix and fade different colours through each other.
  • 5. Style sheet-images These two images provide a clear image for how I could design my weapons in my product. On one hand, I could make it clear and bright or dull but with emotion in it. The left gun shows a form of skill and understanding but the one on the right shows anger and brute force To create an image similar to these images in Photoshop I would begin by using the pencil tool at around size 1-2 to sketch a rough base for the gun model and use the pencil tool at size 1 to create tiny details that are large enough to be recognizable. To colour the image I would use a mix of the gradient tool, layers and editing the opacity of them to create shadows, blur and smudge tool to mix and fade different colours through each other.
  • 6. Style sheet-images This image shows the variation I’m able to have between ships and the way I can create them. The left one shows the different shapes and weapons along with the types of engines and fuel types I can use. On the right it shows what can be used a colony ship with all the different segments to maintain life for decades. A carrier that’s to be used for war to either release tonnes of fighters, bombers, and interceptors. Or a ground assault vehicle that can transport tones of mechanized weapons. These both provide a beautiful insight on what can be created and the imaginations view on of I could create my own ship with obvious difference but with enough shape to understand what type of ship I could be. To create a design similar to this in Photoshop I would begin by using the brush tool to sketch a rough base for the ships model and use the pencil tool to create tiny details that are large enough to be recognizable. To colour the image I would use a mix of the gradient tool, layers and editing the opacity of them to create shadows, blur and smudge tool to mix and fade different colours through each other. Additionally, to add different blocks of colour I would use the lasso tool to select a certain area where I could work within without the worry of colours and lines going onto areas of the design I don’t want them. Finally, if I wanted it to shine off the floor like the image I would complete the ships design, copy and paste it into another layer, flip it upside-down, match it up to the bottom of the original drawing, then lower the opacity to make it look like a reflection.

It additionally, allows me to understand how I should order my work and help with my time management of the project.
  • 8. Layout 2-poster TITLE |------------| |Images 1| | | |------------| |------------| |Images 2| | | |------------| Text for image 1 Text for image 2 Date of release/ Cast/ Barcode/ With all the research I’ve conducted this layout is unique to the other posters I’ve found, mainly since I’ve got a lot more writing potential text than the other posters. Additionally, there isn’t a large image in the background like my researched posters instead they’re small images on the page.
