4. Mobile Devices
Laptop (notebook)
• This is a thin, lightweight mobile computer with a

• Can operate on mains power or can be powered
using its battery.
ADVANTAGES
1. They are mobile

physical keyboard for easier typing.
3. They can be packed away when not in use.

• Services provided by the server include;
- Providing username/password security access
- storing and sharing files (File Server)
- Providing access to printers and other

- Can host websites and other web resources
(Web Servers)
- Storing and managing emails (Email Server)
