This project represents a new locally producible
commercially feasible LED driver circuit which has
low components import and production cost, and
high market value and a relatively long life. This
LED driver is also able to provide as much light and
efficiency as the models available at market right
now. The main task is to design the device for mass
production. So, the team designed the whole device
and other parameters. This poster presents the
method, costing and working principle of the device.

Led lighting are gaining more and more attention in
the household and industrial uses. Designing the
whole device, the circuit element like resistance
capacitor inductor value designing. Developing the
working prototype of the pre-elementary circuit. The
future plan of the project is marketing as a product,
increase the watt limit, and design the smart led
driver circuit using sensor. The future expectation of
the project is increasing the efficiency and
sustainability of LED lighting technology. The future
expectation is also that government lose huge amount
of money for production of led driver so in future it is
more low cost as possible.

HARDWARE
1. The circuit can be implemented at lower cost of the
multiple light LED driver. The proposed LED
driver is well suited for use in household LED
lamps. The main advantages of this system are that
it will give high pf for the system and also low
THD. The overall cost is reduced and efficiency is
increased. The main applications come in the field
of lighting which includes street lighting using
LED bulbs and tubes, it can also be used in
architectural lightings consumes less electricity.
The converter gives constant current to the output
so if we vary the load the current and voltage
remain same..

Commercially feasible low cost led driver circuit (15 watt)

RESEARCH POSTER PRESENTATION DESIGN © 2015 www.PosterPresentations.com This project represents a new locally producible commercially feasible LED driver circuit which has low components import and production cost, and high market value and a relatively long life. This LED driver is also able to provide as much light and efficiency as the models available at market right now. The main task is to design the device for mass production. So, the team designed the whole device and other parameters. This poster presents the method, costing and working principle of the device. ABSTRACT OBJECTIVES 1. Basic Architecture of BP2328 METHODS Design: RESULTS CONCLUSION Led lighting are gaining more and more attention in the household and industrial uses. Designing the whole device, the circuit element like resistance capacitor inductor value designing. Developing the working prototype of the pre-elementary circuit. The future plan of the project is marketing as a product, increase the watt limit, and design the smart led driver circuit using sensor. The future expectation of the project is increasing the efficiency and sustainability of LED lighting technology. The future expectation is also that government lose huge amount of money for production of led driver so in future it is more low cost as possible. EFFICIENCY CALCULATION Mentor: Dr. Md. Rukonuzzaman, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, United International University Designing a device with : • Low manufacturing cost • Comparatively high efficiency (Up to 80%) • High reliability and sustainability Commercially Feasible Low-cost LED Driver Circuit(<15 Watt) Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering United International University TECHENCAL SPECIFIACTIONS Input voltage 220-230 V (AC) Output voltage 61 V (DC) Output Current 185 mA Efficiency 72.4 % No. of LED lights supported in series 20 2. Designing Inductor and output capacitor L= inductor value (Vin -Vout)*Ton = L *Ipk => L= 2.4 mH max ∆𝑉 = 𝑉𝑠 × 𝑉𝑠 − 𝑉𝑎 8𝐶𝐿𝑓2 𝑉𝑠 ⇒ 𝐶 𝑚𝑖𝑛 = 43 .735 𝑢𝐹 Input power = 16 W The total output power, ⇒Pout = I_out * V_load =.190 * 61 =11.59 W Efficiency, η = 𝑃_𝑂𝑈𝑇 𝑃_𝐼𝑁 ⇒ η = 72.4 % COSTS Total Components Cost = 34.7 Tk. PCB Switching frequency, f=55kHz Desired current, I = 300mA DC-DC regulator input, Vs= 315 V Current Ripple, ∆I = 30% of I =90mAa DC-DC regulator input, Va= 61 V Ripple voltage, ∆V = 100 mV HARDWARE 1. The circuit can be implemented at lower cost of the multiple light LED driver. The proposed LED driver is well suited for use in household LED lamps. The main advantages of this system are that it will give high pf for the system and also low THD. The overall cost is reduced and efficiency is increased. The main applications come in the field of lighting which includes street lighting using LED bulbs and tubes, it can also be used in architectural lightings consumes less electricity. The converter gives constant current to the output so if we vary the load the current and voltage remain same.. CONCLUSION (Cont.)
