2. Successfully done relay setting (ABB RELION series) of entire BOP electrical system from
Power Transformers, MV SWGR (including all HT motor & service transformer), LV SWGR
(LT motors & associated system) along with coordination of complete plant from LV to EHV
system.
Design and sizing calculation for IPBD, GCB, Power Transformers, DC system, MV
switchgear, SPBD , LV transformers, Current & Voltage Transformers, UPS system, DG set ,
HT/LT cables , etc. as per various design standard & specification requirement.
Preparation of Plant Aux Power Distribution & Protection-Metering SLD for complete plant
electrical system Power transformers, Switchgears (MV & LV), HT & LT drives ,etc. along with

Earthing design & Layout, Lightning Protection & other miscellaneous engineering
responsibility for plant electrical system. Also prepared entire plant electrical system control &
instrumentation cable schedule for all electrical protection, control, and monitoring system along
with interfacing with SCADA / DCS , also have done layout engineering for finalizing the
equipment layout drawing for all MV & LV SWGR room, transformer yard layout, bus duct
layout (IPBD/SPBD/NSPBD) & cable tray layout.
Technical support to tendering team for pre bid technical evaluation , clarification of technical
requirement from customer and attending technical meeting for closure of the technical
contract , also have supporting role in BOQ preparation of major packages for thermal , hydro &
solar power projects.

Job Responsibility:
Preparing & reviewing of detail technical specification of electrical & control instrumentation
systems for BTG & BOP packages.
Detail discussion & negotiation with BOP & BTG vendors & ensuring the owner’s necessary
requirement as per technical specification, system reliability & operational flexibility.
Preparing of Division of Responsibility (DOR), Terminal Point & Exclusion as per contract
agreement with BTG & BOP vendors. It adds further clarity to scope division between different
vendors in respect of supply, erection & engineering work.
Preparation of Cable Scope Diagram for better understanding of supply & erection scope of all
types of cable. It also helps to understand the E&I terminal points between BTG & BOP vendor.
Calculation of complete lists of analog & digital I/Os for electrical system and process related
signals to give inputs to BTG supplier for DCS configuration.
3. Review & comment on electrical protection single line diagram for generator, power
transformers (GT, ST, and UT) & switchyard as per specification.
Define & modify the load distribution centre in plant auxiliary distribution SLD as per changes
in plant layout with technical & economical justification.
Preparing the plant operation & monitoring synopsis as per owner’s operational flexibility for
better understanding of the plant control philosophy.
