1. This is how my country looks from the outside. Now I want you to see it from the
inside. In this way, you will know who we are, how we act, and what we dream because
Colombian are dreamers, and this is not all.
This is a magical country, full of colors, flavors, places, and good people.
Many, many good people. People who play the accordion, people who bring glory with
sports, sweet hearts. Friends, children, we Colombians are ordinary people, people with
problems, but the happiest under the sun.
We have festivals and celebrations for every day of the year. The Barranquilla Carnival, the
Cali Fair, the International Book Fair, Rock at the Park, Colombia Moda, the Iberoamerican
theather festival, which by the way is the biggest one in the world. There is more.
There are oceans, beaches, all posible climates every time of the year,
Spanish colonial arquitecture, modern arquitecture, handicrafts, exquisite coffee, beautiful
women and orchids. We have art.
Think of master Fernando Botero, the man who loves the chubby ones. We
have musicians, see Juanes, a grammy winner. Shakira, everybody loves her movements and
dance. Carlos Vives who mixes Rock and Vallento. People in sports, like Juan Pablo Montoya,
and Camilo Villegas with his impeccable swings. We have a nobel prize winner. All of them
share one thing PASSION. That is what we truly are!
