1. If all of the world’s cultural heritage (sports, music,
fashion, architecture, literature, painting, etc..) was
contained in a time capsule, what would you include
to demonstrate the legacy of your country?
As a Colombian, very proud of my country and its people, it is difficult to select a
handful of things to represent the country’s legacy in a time capsule. However, in this
presentation I have done my best to do it through what I believe are the best
portrayals of Colombia and its people. There are very little objects included, mostly
people and activities that represent the best of the country.
As the time capsule will be opened years in the future, I decided not to include the
negative aspects of the country, which have been very harmful and have given the
country a negative image. This is done because Colombia deserves a fresh start and
has all the elements to do so in a great way.
