Checklist for the illustrated dictionary
1. CHECKLIST FOR THE ILLUSTRATED DICTIONARY
Note: The student who gets four or more than four checkpoints in each of the deliveries will have
the first “Big Checkpoint”. The ones who do not fulfill all the requirementswill have one more chance
to make the corresponding improvements. At the end, all students should have at least 4 deliveries
based on which a final grade will be assigned.

1. The dictionary contains the required number of words or (at
least) most of them.
2. Each word has its correspondent definition instead of a
simple translation.
3. Most words are graphically represented as a way of
supporting meaning construction.
4. There are some examples of the words usage in context.
5. The dictionary contains references and a proper cover page
(title, students’ name, subject, grade, group and year).
6. The dictionary is divided into alphabetical sections (A-B-C)
