The collective voice was established in 2009 to share project, program, and portfolio management (PPPM) best practices among local government practitioners. It has grown to a network of over 1,200 members across regional subgroups. The collective voice aims to establish PPPM as a recognized profession through competencies, training, and knowledge sharing. In 2011 it was endorsed by LGID to become the PPPM Center of Excellence to further develop resources and support for the local government PPPM community. The discussion provides an opportunity for members to provide feedback on priorities and how the Center of Excellence can best support PPPM in their regions.
