This presentation discusses the collaborative assessment process used by Passaic County Community College's Writing Initiative. The assessment incorporates input from students, instructors, tutors, the writing center, and institutional research to evaluate student writing at different points. Instructors provide assignments and grades using tools like LibGuides. Tutors and the writing center provide feedback through the online tutoring system. Students contribute writing samples and reflections through eFolios. Institutional research analyzes test scores and surveys. Initial results found improved student writing and high satisfaction with support services.
