This document summarizes FHI 360's experience collaborating with the private sector to advance non-communicable disease (NCD) services in low and middle-income countries. It provides two examples: the Community-based Hypertension Improvement Project in Ghana, funded by the Novartis Foundation, and the Abundant Health project in Vietnam, funded by the Pfizer Foundation. While partnerships with private funders can vary, common goals include improving access to NCD services at the community level through evidence-based and sustainable models that leverage existing health systems.
