This document provides conventions for magazine layouts covering alternative pop/indie music. The cover page should include the magazine's title, a large prominent image, thumbnails of articles, and text teasing the contents. The contents page lists articles with images and page numbers in a continuous color scheme. The double page spread features the main article title at the top left, many pictures, some highlighted text, and quotes in columns using the same color scheme across both pages.
