It outlines recommendations for journalists' relationships with their audience, sources of information, publicized individuals, colleagues, and authorities. The code constitution prohibits using journalism status for personal gain, following criminal codes, and engaging in war encouragement or propaganda. It also establishes journalists' rights to access information from organizations, attend events, and publish documents, recordings, and photographs obtained.
