In any investigation, logical conclusions play a major part. In the present paper, we investigate the pattern which was widely used by Agatha Christie in her mystery novels and represent those literary elements by the relation called semantically ordering relation. The purpose of introducing this concept is to reduce the vagueness in naturally structured literary presentation by expressing the domain of linguistic variables into the fuzzy hedge based lattice structure. The idea proposed by Ho and Wechler has been applied in our analysis. Lastly, the paper compares the relation between the results obtained by the fuzzy based lattice structure with the projection and Max-Min composition principles.

Nowadays, document clustering is considered as a da
ta intensive task due to the dramatic, fast increas

the number of available documents. Nevertheless, th
e features that represent those documents are also

large. The most common method for representing docu
ments is the vector space model, which represents
document features as a bag of words and does not re
present semantic relations between words. In this
paper we introduce a distributed implementation for
the bisecting k-means using MapReduce programming
model. The aim behind our proposed implementation i
s to solve the problem of clustering intensive data
documents. In addition, we propose integrating the
WordNet ontology with bisecting k-means in order to
utilize the semantic relations between words to enh
ance document clustering results. Our presented
experimental results show that using lexical catego
ries for nouns only enhances internal evaluation
measures of document clustering; and decreases the
documents features from thousands to tens features.
Our experiments were conducted using Amazon ElasticMapReduce to deploy the Bisecting k-means

This paper aims to develop a new method based on the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to solve Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) problems for Interval Vague Sets (IVSs). A TOPSIS algorithm is constructed on the basis of the concepts of the relative-closeness coefficient computed from the correlation coefficient of IVSs. This novel method also identifies the positive and negative ideal solutions using the correlation coefficient of IVSs. A numerical illustration explains the proposed algorithms and comparisons are made with various existing methods.

algorithm for similarity join with edit distance constraints.
Currently extracting overlapping grams from string and consider
only string that share certain gram as candidate. Now we propose
extracting non-overlapping substring or chunk from string.
Chunk scheme based on tail-restricted chunk boundary
dictionary (CBD). This approach integrated existing approach
for calculating similarity with several new filters unique to chunk
based method. Greedy algorithm automatically select good
chunking scheme from given data set. Then show the result our
method occupies less space and faster performance to compute
the value

In this paper fully parallel FIR filters are designed with different design method on FPGA for resource utilization and response analysis. fully parallel band-pass FIR filters with same specification designed and simulated on ISE. The suggested implementations are synthesized with Xilinx ISE 14.2 version. Results show comparison of three different filter design methods in terms of resource utilization.

Discovering Novel Information with sentence Level clustering From Multi-docu...irjes
Specific objective to discover some novel information from a set of documents initially retrieved in response to some query. Clustering sentences level text, effective use and update is still an open research issue, especially in domain of text mining. Since most existing system uses pattern belong to a single cluster. But here we can use patterns belongs to all cluster with different degree of membership. Since sentences of those documents we would expect at least one of the clusters to be closely related to the concepts described by the query term. This paper presents a Novel Fuzzy Clustering Algorithm that operates on relational input data (i.e. data in the form of square matrix of pair wise similarities between data objects).

Text clustering plays a key role in navigation and browsing process. For an efficient text clustering, the large amount of information is grouped into meaningful clusters. Multiple text clustering techniques do not address the issues such as, high time and space complexity, inability to understand the relational and contextual attributes of the word, less robustness, risks related to privacy exposure, etc. To address these issues, an efficient text based clustering framework is proposed. The Reuters dataset is chosen as the input dataset. Once the input dataset is preprocessed, the similarity between the words are computed using the cosine similarity. The similarities between the components are compared and the vector data is created. From the vector data the clustering particle is computed. To optimize the clustering results, mutation is applied to the vector data. The performance the proposed text based clustering framework is analyzed using the metrics such as Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Processing time. From the experimental results, it is found that, the proposed text based clustering framework produced optimal MSE, PSNR and processing time when compared to the existing Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) and Pairwise Random Swap (PRS) methods.

Textual Data Partitioning with Relationship and Discriminative AnalysisEditor IJMTER
Data partitioning methods are used to partition the data values with similarity. Similarity
measures are used to estimate transaction relationships. Hierarchical clustering model produces tree
structured results. Partitioned clustering produces results in grid format. Text documents are
unstructured data values with high dimensional attributes. Document clustering group ups unlabeled text
documents into meaningful clusters. Traditional clustering methods require cluster count (K) for the
document grouping process. Clustering accuracy degrades drastically with reference to the unsuitable
cluster count.
Textual data elements are divided into two types’ discriminative words and nondiscriminative
words. Only discriminative words are useful for grouping documents. The involvement of
nondiscriminative words confuses the clustering process and leads to poor clustering solution in return.
A variation inference algorithm is used to infer the document collection structure and partition of
document words at the same time. Dirichlet Process Mixture (DPM) model is used to partition
documents. DPM clustering model uses both the data likelihood and the clustering property of the
Dirichlet Process (DP). Dirichlet Process Mixture Model for Feature Partition (DPMFP) is used to
discover the latent cluster structure based on the DPM model. DPMFP clustering is performed without
requiring the number of clusters as input.
Document labels are used to estimate the discriminative word identification process. Concept
relationships are analyzed with Ontology support. Semantic weight model is used for the document
similarity analysis. The system improves the scalability with the support of labels and concept relations
for dimensionality reduction process.

While the world is witnessing an information revolution unprecedented and great speed in the growth of databases in all aspects. Databases interconnect with their content and schema but use different elements and structures to express the same concepts and relations, which may cause semantic and structural conflicts. This paper proposes a new technique for integration the heterogeneous eXtensible Markup Language (XML) schemas, under the name XDEHD. The returned mediated schema contains all concepts and relations of the sources without duplication. Detailed technique divides into three steps; First, extract all subschemas from the sources by decompose the schemas sources, each subschema contains three levels, these levels are ancestor, root and leaf. Thereafter, second, the technique matches and compares the subschemas and return the related candidate subschemas, semantic closeness function is implemented to measures the degree how similar the concepts of subschemas are modelled in the sources. Finally, create the medicate schema by integration the candidate subschemas, and then obtain the minimal and complete unified schema, association strength function is developed to compute closely of pair in candidate subschema across all data sources, and elements repetition function is employed to calculate how many times each element repeated between the candidate subschema.

The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

1. CLUSTERING SENTENCE-LEVEL TEXT USING A NOVEL FUZZY
RELATIONAL CLUSTERING ALGORITHM
ABSTRACT:
In comparison with hard clustering methods, in which a pattern belongs to a single cluster, fuzzy
clustering algorithms allow patterns to belong to all clusters with differing degrees of
membership. This is important in domains such as sentence clustering, since a sentence is likely
to be related to more than one theme or topic present within a document or set of documents.
However, because most sentence similarity measures do not represent sentences in a common
metric space, conventional fuzzy clustering approaches based on prototypes or mixtures of
Gaussians are generally not applicable to sentence clustering.
This paper presents a novel fuzzy clustering algorithm that operates on relational input data; i.e.,
data in the form of a square matrix of pair wise similarities between data objects. The algorithm
uses a graph representation of the data, and operates in an Expectation-Maximization framework
in which the graph centrality of an object in the graph is interpreted as likelihood. Results of
applying the algorithm to sentence clustering tasks demonstrate that the algorithm is capable of
identifying overlapping clusters of semantically related sentences, and that it is therefore of
potential use in a variety of text mining tasks. We also include results of applying the algorithm
to benchmark data sets in several other domains.
