Analysis Of D. Cross Academy
In the process of being rewritten :D
Cross Academy was a prestigious boarding school known for its state of the art education system and
gothic architecture. Countless arched windows littered around every inch of the building, showering
the interior with beams of glimmering light. Yet somehow the structure seemed to retain its somber
atmosphere. As if it housed something unknown. Cross Academy was an elite school for the rich and
talented, with an extensive campus enveloped in a thick grove of wild trees and exuberant greenery
flourishing in the new season. During this time of year chromatic flowers bloomed across the forest
floor. Large petals eagerly emerged from the flowers core after a long year of arduous waiting,
sparkling in the sun and offering the rather gloomy establishment a facade of warmth, hiding it for
what it truly was. For Cross Academy wasn t so innocent. Deep inside its matured walls held
something frightful.
Vampires.
The school day was split into two schedules. In the day, students from the sun dorms, the Day Class,
departed to the main building for their first class. However during the evening the main building
entertained the creatures of the dark. More commonly known as the Night Class. Only a select few
were aware of the existence of vampires and their presence in Cross Academy while the rest of the
pupils spent their days admiring these marvelous creatures in ignorance. During late afternoons when
day classes had finished up, one would find

Brushing Your Teeth Analysis
Brushing your teeth is not a simple everyday life skill; brushing your teeth is an skill or art. Brushing
your teeth is like a painter painting a master piece. Let s start on the masterpiece. First thing you
should do is go in the bathroom, when no one is in there of course. Then, pull your tooth brush out,
and some toothpaste of your choice. Furthermore, once the tooth brush is out its package or out the
toothbrush holder it needs to be clean, the tooth brush have to be clean before it entires a person

Hemophilia Essay
Hemophilia A is a disorder in which the blood doesn t clot normally due to the lack of blood clothing
factor VIII. Hemophilia A is also known as the Classic Hemophilia. According to the CDC,
hemophilia will occur in approximately 1 in 5,000 live births. It is called classic hemophilia due to the
fact that this hemophilia is four times more common as hemophilia B. This disorder is mainly a
hereditary bleeding disorder which is caused by an inherited X linked recessive trait. Some acquired
forms do exist as well, largely in older patients, due to autoantibodies directed against factor VIII. The
defected gene is located on the X chromosome. And it results from a heterogeneous mutation in factor
VIII gene that maps for Xq28.
Hemophilia A is more common in males because males have one X and one Y chromosome. Since a
male s DNA contain only one X chromosome, hemophilia affects mostly males. Hemophilia was first

It includes complete blood count, aPTT, PT, fibrinogen, and clothing fact tests. CBC measures the
amount of hemoglobin, number of red cells and whites blood cells along with platelets. CBC is
usually normal in a person with hemophilia A. Activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) measures
how long it takes for blood to clot. It measures the clotting ability of factor XII, XI, IX, VIII and this
would be abnormal in a individual with hemophilia A since hemophilia A is associated to factor VIII.
Prothrombin time also measure the clotting ability but for factor X, VII, V, II, and I. This would be
normal in individuals with hemophilia A. Fibrinogen test helps doctors to assess a patients ability to
form a clot. Lastly, clotting factor test also known as factor assay is used to determine the type and the
severity of hemophilia. The testing mentioned above is the traditional testing that s used to diagnose

Animal Mounted Shooting Is A Event
Cowboy mounted Shooting is a timed event where competitors run a designated pattern, while
shooting ten balloon targets with two .45 caliber single action revolver guns, loaded with five rounds
of blank ammunition each. Mounted shooting combines the styles of an old time Wild West show and
skills of barrel racing, pole bending, and reigning all into one event. Any breed of horse or mule can
be used in the event, according to the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association, some horses take easy
to the event while other horses struggle with the loud environment. The temperament is a huge factor
of how well the animal compete in the show, along with the rider s determination in training the horse.
A horse I believe would be good for mounted shooting would be a small quarter horse with a short
back because quarter horses are known for their laid back and quite domineer. While short back would
be useful with bending around the poles and barrels in a quick manner.
Although, traditional western style is accepted, with long sleeve western style shirt, five pocket blue
jeans, chaps, western boots and cowboy hat. Riders are encouraged to wear a period costume since,
the event pays tribute to the Wild West and the late 1800s. Competitors dressed in old time style
costumes would wear a shirt without a collar, high wasted pants with buttons in place of the zipper,
and an old style cowboy hat. Women that compete in the show have the option to wear a dress or skirt
that drapes over the

Essay about Argument Against Human Cloning
In 1997, the first clone of a sheep named Dolly was created. This embryo had a success rate of one to
four percent. When applied to humans, this percentage may decrease and become lower and more
unpredictable. With lives at stake, is it worth the risk of the embryos involved in the unstable process?
Although cloning may allow for new medical procedures and research of diseases and cures, it takes
away from the natural biological order of life, and allows humans to play God while creating a margin
of error which could result in many defects. Many ethical and moral dilemmas arise when discussing
human cloning, and one can have many positions for and against each. To understand the issues
surrounding human cloning, one must have a basic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1997, President Clinton proposed a moratorium on cloning that would not allow funding by the
government. A bill was also presented in the Senate in 2001 that would legally ban cloning regardless
of its funding, whether it was federal or private. The repercussions of infringement on this law would
be up to ten years in jail and a fine of up to $10 million (A). Human cloning proposes many arguments
for each opposing side and can greatly impact the modern world based upon the research obtained
through it. Whether or not that research is morally and ethically correct is the topic of most
discussions in the genetics field. Beginning with the moral argument, one must understand
reproductive freedom. Most cloning activists say that reproduction, or the lack there of, is a natural
freedom given to people (C). Restricting human cloning would be a violation of that right. Just as
people can choose not to reproduce using contraception, abortion, or abstinence, people should be
allowed to use all means possible within their ability to reproduce, such as through cloning and in
vitro fertilization (C). Cloning is the application of this right specifically (C). Another benefit of
cloning is the ability to clone someone who has died to console those who are grieving over their lost
loved one or to clone the DNA of a person that was known for his of her greatness. Scientists would
be able to recreate these people in a new environment (C). A clone s parent may have come from

Another minor dispute has escalated into yelling and screaming, throwing of objects and breaking of

It must be a case of tough love. What could their child have done to have lost all rights of having a
roof overhead and being kicked out with nothing more than a bag of clothes and a couple dollars for
either some phone calls or some food? Still there are some who barely receive that. Truthfully it s a
hard pill to swallow when the reality of these adolescents having nobody to turn to because of their
heartbreaking lifestyles sets in. Being sexually, emotionally or physically abused by someone close to
home isn t any fault of their own; neither is having a parent or guardian who is more focused on their
next hit rather than handling responsibilities they unconsciously took on the moment they realized
they were bringing a child into this world. However, these underage people, must learn to survive on
their own two feet. What other choices do they have? Going to the police and confiding in them 100%
is a exhausting task in its own. These are the men and women who took an oath and vowed to protect
and serve each community with their entire being, but are the same men and women who come to the
ghetto or to the hood and harass and arrest innocent black men and black women for standing on the
corner too long. A case of mistaken identity, right? If these youngings see this on a daily basis

Hidden Education And The Hidden Curriculum
Question 1
The hidden curriculum is sensed in every district building, school, and classroom, and an observant
outsider will be able to perceive the way things work and pick up on the culture and values of the
school as they travel the halls. Yet, the students inside and teachers attend each day, perhaps unaware
of the established environment and system. This hidden or implicit curriculum plays a significant role
in the educational life of a student and the professional life of a teacher, as the norms and day to day
happenings engender a culture that impacts behavior and beliefs. Some aspects of the hidden
curriculum are hard to identify, while some are purposeful but not explicitly taught. The following
authors address the various definitions and issues that are associated with this powerful facet of
learners education and educators profession.
First, Jackson (1968) describes hidden curriculum as the substance of school life that warrants serious
attention (in Flinders Thornton, 2013). Students spend hours and hours in school, with no choice
whether or not to go, and the unnoticed and unremarkable events that occur each day collectively have
a powerful impact on a child. Jackson compares schools to prisons, where attendance is involuntary
and the norms and routines are learned. Just like a prisoner, if a child does not conform and learn the
rules of his environment, he will struggle to make it through. Jackson identifies criteria of hidden
curriculum for

The World s Total Global Market
Although the U.S. has become the world s largest economy by making up half the world s total global
market capitalization, an investor would likely miss opportunities elsewhere by holding only domestic
stocks. Spreading the portfolio across a number of countries helps investors to take advantage of a
larger opportunity set, reducing the chances of losses that occur only on a single market. Although,
diversification cannot guarantee profits or protect against losses, historically U. S. market returns have
benefited more from emerging markets than from other developed markets. In recent years, emerging
markets have become more attractive to investors due to their rising economic productivity and

2011). The attractive attributes that emerging markets offer contributing to the strong future growth of
investments include growing consumption, low debt levels, and room for productivity gains. First,
growing consumption means that emerging economies are focusing more on domestic consumption
led growth rather than importing goods from developed countries. Additionally, emerging economies
are also offering relatively low debt levels because their balance sheet are usually safe due to their
spending limitations and high saving rates. Last, according to analysts, emerging markets are investing
in better infrastructure and technological advances, which could greatly boost sustainable economic
growth in those countries. These three attributes are potential factors to be accounted when making an
investment (Brisk, T. 2011). However, there are also some risk factors when investing in emerging
markets that investors must consider such as, currency instability, inflation, and political risks. First,
currency instability includes exchange rates. In emerging economics, exchange rates decline in value
quickly, which reduce the gains or magnify the losses of an investment in dollar terms. Moreover, the
Inflation risks which is a problem that has periodically cropped up in emerging markets. Inflation
devaluates currencies, hurts corporate profit margins, and slows economic growth

How Nadiya Savchenko became Ukraine s Joan of Arc
Content:
Nadiya Savchenko, a 35 year old Ukranian politician, was released in May 2016 and welcomed as a
hero by her home country after being imprisoned by Russian court authority. Savchenko served as a
volunteer soldier who fought in the war in the region of Ukraine known as Donbas, and was captured,
tried in Moscow, and sentenced for a 22 year imprisonment of a supposed collaboration of murder of
two Russian journalists. During her imprisonment, Savchenko began a hunger strike lasting almost 3
months. For her bravery and heroism, Savchenko was awarded a Hero of Ukraine medal by Ukrainian
president Petro Poroshenko and compared throughout the world as the present day Joan of Arc. After
being released by exchange of prisoners, Savchenko, now in Ukraine, has begun her battle against
political corruption.
Context:
Political corruption has gripped Ukraine ever since the nation s independence in 1991, and it still
plagues the nation to this day. From 2010 2014, former 4th ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Wollstonecraft saw as the full capability of what women could accomplish, be it serving in an army,
serving as a politician, or as an inspiration for the soldiers and people of Ukraine, deeming herself

The Abortion Of The Fetus
I am going to argue that its is right to claim that, even if a fetus is a person, abortion is still permissible
when one s risk in health/stability/happiness is threatened. I believe that any woman, who houses the
fetus inside her body for estimated nine months have the right and the choice to abortion when it is for
one s health, stability and happiness for both the mother and the unborn fetus. Thomson s argument is
entitled as Defense to Abortion . I agree to Thomson and her argument when it comes to aborting a
fetus, even if a fetus is a person. Yes, it has it s own DNA, and it s own life but when it threatens the
house that it stays in, which in this case would be the woman/mother s womb, I believe the abortion of
the fetus, is permissible. Thomson states it cannot be seriously thought to be murder if the mother
performs an abortion on herself to save her life. (Thomson, Defense on Abortion, pg6) Thomson gives
an example of a violinist being plugged into another human, using their blood in high hopes of
survival by that person s kidneys extracting the poison from the violinist s blood. The person never
agreed to do such, being that it was decided by the Society of Music Lovers; but did not go against it
by detaching himself from the violinist knowing that it can cause death. This explains that there are
events where we don t have much of a freedom of choice when there is a conscious person/life
involved meaning, when there is a conscious life in our hands,

Breaking Bread Project Analysis
During this semester s service learning project, I chose to serve at a community organization called
Church On Wheels, Breaking Bread Soup Kitchen. Every night Monday through Friday Breaking
Bread opens its doors to the community and provides a meal at no cost. Their mission statement is
simple: To carry the gospel of the Lord through feeding the hungry and helping those in need. With
this Christ like love to His people, every night employees and volunteers come together to provide a
meal that does not only feed them physically but nourishes the soul of everyone that enters the doors.
Within the city of Midland, Texas you will find a diverse culture and community. Due to the recent oil
boom, many families found themselves struggling to put a meal on the table. Breaking Bread saw the
need in the community to open the doors every night to see that no one would go hungry in our town.

eventually after a bunch a greater inventor thought of ideas and used trial and error till they got a what

The next big step of changing how we transport to everyday places, and to this we added wheels and
turned sledges into carts. Everyone makes mistakes and nothing can be exactly perfect, so that means
that we try things and and eventually get it right, and we do this by learning from our mistakes. Earlier

It had a lot of power and with that being used it could pull a lot of weight around because it s more
powerful. Rudolf Diesel spent months and months on reading, and studying engines, and trying to see
if there is a better way of making an engine that far surpasses the normal standard engine that
everyone knows, so he spent all that time thinking of a way to make a better engine. Rudolf Diesel
was both a thinker and a doer . Confined to hospital after an accident, he spent months poring over
books and papers by people like Carnot and Otto. All That time he spent time he was in the hospital
studying, making theories on how he would make a better engine than what everyone else had he
wanted to have some thing that could pull almost anything, and something that could last a long time.
So he had began preparations, and he gathered up all of his Notes that he wrote while he was stuck in
the hospital, and then he soon started on began working on his first prototype Engine that he believed
would be way better than the standard Engine that everybody had. He soon came to the conclusion
that he could build a far better engine than the puny gasoline machines Benz and Daimler had
designed and knocked up a prototype, an enormous 3 m (10 ft) high machine, in the early 1890s. So
After his first Diesel engine prototype was made , it was high and tall and for an engine it had a lot of
power and could be used to do almost anything, and compared to a normal engine this enormous
diesel engine, the normal engine was puny. So When Diesel was making his engine he wanted his
engine to be the best that it could ever be so he practically thought of everything, So prototype could
practically run on any sort of fuel because he wanted everyone to use it and he had to think of
everything that the person owning this engine could want. this first diesel

What Was The Cause Of The 2008 Financial Crisis
1. Introduction
The financial crisis of 2007 08 was also known as subprime crisis or credit crisis. Since the bubbles of
real estate market in America came into surface on August 9, 2007 investors were losing their
confidence on subprime mortgage assets and the liquidity risk followed behind. Even though the
central banks of many countries tried to turn around the situation by injecting huge amount of capital
to the financial market, the financial crisis still broke out and spread to Europe and other parts all over
the world especially on the backing sector.
The purpose of the essay is to identify the causes of the global financial crisis on the angle of the
failure of corporate governance in UK banks such as Northern Rock and RBS which will be discussed
in Section two. The reforms of UK governance post crisis will also be discussed especially on the
aspect of banking risk management in section three. In the fourth section conclusion will be given.
2. Causes of the Financial Crisis
In this section, the impacts of the financial crisis from different orientations will be shown in the first
place. Then, the role of the failure on governance of UK banks will be analyzed.
2.1. Consequences of the Crisis
The explosion of the global financial crisis impacted many areas of UK. Because of the uncertainty of
the market consumers lost confidence on the economy and households cut spending particularly on
manufactured product which leaded to the sharp fall in industrial production

Zvornik and the later genocide around Srebrenica. Since the returnees were harassed, making the
society multiethnic was very difficult. Also since the local security took part in the attacks and
genocide, it was hard to unify the country because they supported the ethnic cleansing. The returnees
not being able to return to their homes added to Bosnia being ethnically fractured after the war. As
expressed by McMahon and Western, In ethnically fractured postwar Bosnia, however, such
decentralization further weakened efforts to build a coherent state. The ethnic decentralization made it
difficult to unify Bosnia since the power was scattered. This split the government along with society,
which kept the country fragmented. The isolation of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although many returnees ended up returning to their homes, the country was still broken due to many
causes. As represented by Dahlman and Tuathail, The success of reaching one million returns is
tempered by the reality that Bosnia is still a broken country, where obstructionism, political
corruption, and economic hardship compound the legacy of wartime displacements (Ó Tuathail and
Dahlman 2004b). All of the problems that still existed in Bosnia even after the war, like political
corruption, caused the country to remain broken even though so many people were able to return to
their prewar homes. The country also remained broken after the war because the Bosnian Muslims
were still left isolated and vulnerable. As supported by McMahon and Western, Second, exiting
Bosnia will now leave Bosnian Muslims isolated and vulnerable, sending precisely the wrong message
to the Muslim world at a time when Brussels and Washington are trying to mend relationships frayed
by the Iraq war and the global war on terror. The country remained divided due to the isolation and
vulnerability of the Bosnian Muslims after the war. This caused the failure of Bosnia to become
diverse, which kept the country

The Reason I Decided On What My Major Will Be
The reason I decided on what my major will be When I started college, my mind decided that I wanted
to study pre veterinary. I thought that it was my calling and was what I was meant to do in life. I
realized through many different activities and events in college, that I had a calling for something else.
I joined a campus ministry called The Navigators and started to disciple under one of the leaders
named Josh Lashbrook. We started to meet one day a week, so he could teach me and start to mold me
into a leader. He taught me different religious tools and techniques on how to talk to people and
sharing the word of God. When I first started to have meeting with him, I did not have a lot of
knowledge on speaking with others and trying to convey a good message. I went in the commons and
started to go around with him and sit with random strangers. Some of them were believers in our
religion, believers in a different religion, or not believers at all. It was cool to see the differences
between everyone and see how many actually have things in common.
Josh taught me that when I talked to people, do not use only emotions because sometimes people can
feel what you feel and can take it as a negative or positive meaning to what you are trying to say. He
also taught me that you have to have an attitude that ensembles a good and positive way of life. I
learned that doing it by yourself is hard when you have little skill or knowledge on what needs to be
done. By joining the

Samuel Adams Beer Competitive Analysis
Competitive Analysis
For the Samuel Adams brand, indirect competition is based primarily in distilled spirits, liqueurs, and
wines. Spirits typically contain 37.5% ABV or greater and are usually not infused with any flavors
during the distilling process, however, some modern spirits are infused with flavors after distilling.
Liqueurs, on the other hand have a slightly lower ABV and are characterized by uniquely infused
flavors and high sugar content. Wine includes any alcoholic beverage that is made from fermented
fruit juice and contains from 7% 18% ABV.
The most common distilled spirits include whisky, vodka, rum, and tequila. Whisky (or whiskey)

Following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, the major breweries continued to use unmalted cereal
grains to provide the full body and mouthfeel of a real beer while keeping the alcohol content low. The
maturation tanks (they call them chip tanks) that Anheuser Busch utilizes are horizontal and, as such,
the yeast aggregates more quickly. Anheuser Busch refers to this process as a secondary fermentation,
with the idea being that the chips give the yeast more surface area to rest on. This is also combined
with a procedure that re introduces wort into the chip tank therefore activating the fermentation
process again. By placing chips at the bottom of the tank, the yeast remains in suspension longer,
giving it more time to reabsorb and process green beer flavors that Anheuser Busch believes are off
flavors which detract from overall drinkability. As with most food products opinions differ regarding
its taste. While some drinkers prefer the lightness of beers like Budweiser and consume it as
refreshment, some beer writers consider it as being too bland. The beer is light bodied with faint sweet
notes and negligible bitterness, leading to reviews characterizing it as a ...beer of underwhelming
blandness. Despite these negative reviews, Budweiser has a 19.9 user share and accounts for 26% of

Hearing Concepts Of Group Dynamics Essay
Within Group Dynamics, there are many factors that goes into structured group, and as an observer I
feel this was a very rewarding experience. I feel that hearing concepts of group dynamics, and then
seeing the concepts in action expands an individual s knowledge on the subject. Seeing the leadership
s skill and the processes of a facilitator can influence aspiring facilitators, and give them the
experience they need. For my structured group, I decided to go to Greenleaf, and observe an
adolescent depression group. This was most definitely a treatment group, because its main focus was
looking at meeting the participant s goals, which was to decrease depressive thoughts and behaviors.
This therapeutic group worked as an inpatient facility, and I think this is different from most other
treatment groups. It s different, because it was dealing with adolescents struggling with depression,
and had an indefinite stay at Greenleaf. There are many factors and concepts from our class present in
this treatment group. One of the first concepts that I found in this group was its group work values.
Many of the participants found a positive value from coming to the group. This makes handling
groups easier, because it causes less stress on the facilitator to keep control of derailers and whiners.
Another group value that I saw was that cooperation and democracy. I feel like this ideal was
embodied in each group member, because from my perception they felt as though they had thought

Business Structure Of The United States
Throughout the history of the United States, one salient aspect of business is the corporation, as
evidenced by the formation of the first successful English colony, Jamestown, through the Virginia
Joint Stock Company. Early restricted corporations and small businesses built a society and a new
world, while later corporations crippled their employees and communities. Using Clare International
from Richard Power s Gain as a case study, this paper will establish the status quo of early internal
business structures and the significance of capital in community business relationships. Then, it will
explore how incorporation and growth correlates to a loss of community in internal firm organization
and a loss of shared capital between the company and society.
In the late 18th century, production in America came primarily in the form of small business
enterprise. Each business owner had a strong personal connection with the personnel and trade
associated with their business. Owners of the shops had strong control over their hiring process, and
employed individuals known as apprentices to work for them. These apprentices would work their
way up in the trade shop, until finally moving on. Throughout the process, the apprentices and owners
often bonded intimately, with the apprentice keeping all the master s secrets while the business owner
would often ask the apprentice to eat (and sometimes even board) in their own residence. While not as
intimate in the 19th century, the firm still

Antisocial Personality Disorder ( Adhd )
Antisocial Personality Disorder
Kevin Adams
Medgar Ever College Antisocial Personality Disorder is often wrongly called sociopathy or
psychopathy although both sociopathy and psychopathy are not recognized professional labels for the
diagnosis. Antisocial may not be the best way to describe the disorder because it implies shyness and
people who suffer from the disorder tend to be more outgoing, charming and pragmatic. The term
came about because the disorder is anti society. It s behavior that s directed against society. (Black,
2013) To my surprise ASPD is actually quite common, being as common as attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder [ADHD], obsessive compulsive disorder [OCD], and panic; and it may be even
more common when taking into account those who don t report or those who deny their symptoms.
ASPD is diagnosed using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, 5th edition [DSM
5]. Antisocial Personality Disorder [ASPD] is characterized by a lack of sensitivity, aggression
hostility, deceitfulness, manipulative behavior, impulsiveness, imprudence, narcissism, and
irresponsibility. According to Donald W. Black, M.D., ASPD is a recurrent and serial pattern of
misbehavior that involves all significant facets of life and is marked by violation of social norms and
regulations that occur over time, ranging from repeated lies and petty theft to violence and even
murder, in the most serious cases. (2013). According to the DSM 5, ASPD has four

16 Candles Comparison
The film 16 Candles has very little teacher presence. However, even the lack of teacher presence
presents ideas about teachers and their roles in the schools. The film 16 Candles opts to focus on the
lives of students outside of a traditional classroom setting. The main focus on the students also
contains several tropes about American high school life, including gender and race. The representation
of these suburban parents, teachers, and students in 16 Candles is comparable to the suburban TV
show Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and they share many similarities in their portrayal of characters,
while differing greatly from urban films. The only teacher in the film appears at the beginning and is
only present for a miniscule amount of screen time. On the chalkboard behind him, there are insults
written about him, presumably from the students in his class. This type of disrespect is only seen in
suburban school films and would have serious repercussions if students in urban settings were to
partake in such activities. The teacher is not looking at the class; the class is noisy and unruly. This
representation perpetuates the idea of an uncaring, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In contrast to 16 Candles, the show focuses almost exclusively on Buffy and her narrative. She is not
overshadowed by the stories of the males in the series. In spite of this, Buffy is still implicated in the
concept that females must have a male love object to talk about. Buffy and her friend Willow spend a
considerable amount of screen time discussing crushes and love interests. Unlike in 16 Candles
though, the love interests discussed in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer are often nuanced, not based solely
on popularity or physical appearance. Buffy does not always end up with the boy she is interested in
and not all of her relationships are perfect, unlike in 16 Candles, where Sam and Jake mutually like
each other and end up together in the

Forsaken Promises
What does the future hold? What will happen at the end of the age? Will the church be raptured up
into Heaven or will the church remain on Earth? Are the Jews still God s chosen people? Has the
church replaced Israel? These and other questions have been asked since Jesus left Earth and ascended
into Heaven. Since that day Christians have been looking and longing with eager anticipation for the
return of Christ. The study of the return of Christ, or last things, is known as Eschatology, and within
Eschatology there are several schools of thought concerning the Church and Israel. These schools of
thought are known as Covenant and Dispensational Theology. Two similar schools of thought within
Dispensational theology are known as Classical and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Boice writes, In the OT there is the creation of an ekklesia, an assembly of those who are called out of
a normal relationship to the world in order to be a special people of God. The church is not Plan B in
God s plan of salvation but rather was hinted at in the OT through the calling out of Abraham and
Israel but was not fully realized until the NT. Blaising argues this point when he writes, The church is
seen less and less as a parenthesis in the divine program. Instead it is seen as vitally linked to and
comprehended in the plan of God revealed in the Old Testament. The sharp line which is drawn
between the Church and Israel is dulled within PD as this view attempts to harmonize the two
Testaments into one unifying work of God throughout all of history.
TD views the church as in a parenthetical relationship with God and His plan for Israel. TD taught that
the offer to the kingdom of Israel was genuine, but it was also conditional and contingent on the
nations response, when Israel choose to reject the Messiah, the offer of Jesus Christ was offered to the
Gentiles and the kingdom did not immediately appear but was postponed. TD argue that had the
Israelites accepted the Messiah the Kingdom would have begun immediately, however, since Israel
rejected Jesus the offer went to the Gentiles. Therefore, since

Theories Of Time And Space, By Natasha Trethewey
Natasha Trethewey Natasha Trethewey, born on April 26th 1966 in Gulfport Mississippi now at the
age of fifty one, is known to be a very influential American poet. This American poet discovered her
love for poetry through the events and griefs she experienced throughout her life which involved race
and divorce. As a young girl, Natasha Trethewey spent most of her life living in Georgia with her
mother Gwendolyn Ann Turnbough. With her parents divorced at the age of six, Natasha rarely got to
see her father Eric Trethewey who lived in New Orleans Louisiana. Not only did she have to battle her
feelings with the thoughts of her parents divorce, but her mixed race was also a developing problem.

Similarly, Rotation is about distance and the overcoming the feeling of being small and inferior as a
part of growing up. As the girl is growing up, she looks up to her father and acknowledges that she is
just a small peck on the Earth, as to when she is grown up she looks back on this and realizes change
is good. Rotation and the poem History Lesson are similar in a way where the character notices that
change is good. History Lesson reflects on the past when there used to be segregation of blacks and
whites until Natasha brings the poem back to modern day and reminds the reader that segregation is
history because of the changes made to laws.
Incident is a very powerfully written poem as Natasha writes about the Ku Klux Klan. She explains
that this story is told every year when she is reminded of the men who were white as angels which was
the KKK marching outside going against african american lives.

Radical Feminist Analysis
This paper will analyze, the bill dubbed as the slapping law , in Russia. Using the perspective of
Radical Feminist Thought, I argue that such violence is normalized through the lack of current public
resistance to this crime and contends that women themselves begin to see this type of treatment as
acceptable. Structurally, this paper will begin by providing a concise summary of the values of Radical
feminism to give clarification on the standpoint of this feminist position in analysis of the current
event. It will describe the history of criminalizing domestic violence; how liberal and radical feminist
views differ in looking at the private/public and how popular understanding of domestic violence has

Any society that is committed to equality between the sexes must then be particularly responsive to
crimes that are based on sex or gender. It is that radical feminist theory has impacted society on both
the micro and the macro level, resulting women s movement for equality in bringing social changes
impacting the responses to domestic violence issues. Our popular understanding and legal approach to
domestic violence has shifted dramatically throughout the years. There has been a shift from the
private response, where domestic violence was considered a product of relationship dysfunction, to a
fully public campaign in which the state takes the lead in combating domestic violence through arrest
and prosecution of abusers. This shift, I have argued, reflects a radical feminist understanding of
domestic violence as patriarchal force and was informed by earlier radical feminist theorizing on

It is not our goal to trade members neither with other churches nor to increase our membership by
reaching disgruntled members of other churches. Our vision is to reach young people who may not
have a church background, teach and train them, equip them, and qualify them to go out and win
souls. We believe that by doing this, we will build a strong army who can take our community, state,
and the world for Christ. We want to reach young people ages 10 18 in our community. According to
Warren, If you want to build a healthy, strong, and growing church you must spend time laying a solid
foundation.
Values
Our values are Righteous living, as exemplified by a lifestyle congruent with biblical and moral
guidelines, spiritual enrichment, as exemplified through our School of Ministry, fortifying the family,
as exemplified by marriage, single, and youth ministries, economic support, as exemplified by our
contributions through tithe, offerings, and time, and alliance of believers, as exemplified through
prayer, worship, and servitude.
Within these values, there is the element of youth ministries. Several key verses are the basis of this
plan. Ecclesiastes 12:1 says that children that are

HOW SHAKESPEARE PRESENTS ROMEO’S FEELINGS IN

HOW SHAKESPEARE PRESENTS ROMEO S FEELINGS IN ACT 1 SCENE 1 AND ACT 2
SCENE 2
Love is an important theme in most of Shakespeare s play, including in Romeo and Juliet because love
is a stronger force than all the animosity and forces of fate in Romeo and Juliet. In Romeo and Juliet,
Shakespeare s play, Shakespeare explores Romeo s change in attitude to love between Rosaline and
Juliet. In Act 1 Scene 1 Shakespeare introduces us to Romeo s passionate desire towards Rosaline
through the use of oxymoron, monologues and vivid imagery. In contrast, in Act 2 Scene 2, when
Romeo is addressing Juliet, his language shifts through the use of light, religious and mythical
imagery to reflect his newly found romantic love to Juliet.
In Act 1 scene ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This notion is furthered through the use of binary opposition throughout Romeo s oxymoron O
brawling love, O loving hate . This monologue of strong contrasting images of love and hate in one
sentence suggests that Romeo finds the intensity of his emotion towards Rosaline destabilising and his
emotion is not calm and peaceful. Indeed, the deployment of oxymoron throughout Romeo s speech
such as heavy lightness or cold fire, sick health suggests that the character so overwhelmed by his
feelings that he loses the sight of his common sense and spins and turns into mad love towards
Rosaline.
In Act 2, Scene, 2 Romeo s attitude to love shifts from an infatuated love towards Rosaline to more
true and youthful love he feels for Juliet. When Romeo sets his eyes on Juliet for the first time, he uses
light imagery to express his feelings Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon . For Romeo, Juliet is
the sun who has brought brightness into his life like the sun that brought brightness to people s lives.
This beautifully romantic imagery highlights the purity of Romeo s feelings and underscores to the
reader the powerful force of love that Romeo is now entangled in.
Moreover, Shakespeare uses religious imagery to strengthen Romeo s feelings. He refers Juliet as a
bright angel , who is a winged messenger of heaven .This religious imagery highlights the perfection
of Romeo s love to Juliet

10 Things I Hate About You Analysis
Who would have guessed that a movie I watched over the summer of 2010 particularly the 1999 teen
romantic comedy 10 Things I Hate About You would forever alter my perspective on creative writing
and songwriting? Even though the movie s characters were high school students and I was entering
seventh grade at the time, their varied personalities seemed incredibly relatable to me. And as the
months would pass, the idea of putting my thoughts about a short story based on the film on notebook
paper rarely entered my mind. It all started when my grandmother, brother, cousin, and I were all
invited by a religious organization to travel with other churchgoers to Allensworth, California.
Formerly the first town founded by African Americans, it was now a historic park in the state s Central
Valley area. My mother truly desired for my brother and I to go, as we would learn more about the

simultaneously had boyfriends. The younger sister s boyfriend was a new student and a geek, and the
older sister s boyfriend was a troublemaker, just like the film. But there were a few big differences:
while both sisters in the movie were both in high school, in my story, the younger sister was a high
school freshman and the older sister was a young adult. My story took place in the Cincinnati area, but
the film did not. And many of the characters in my story, including the sisters, and their prospective
boyfriends, were of my race; the film had mostly white

Rhetorical analysis: Cookie or Cream
This rhetorical analysis is about the Nabisco company airing a funny commercial during the Super
Bowl called Whisper Fight. Nabisco shows that all 3 appeals do not have to be used in order to create
an effective advertisement.
The commercial starts off in a two story library. Two students are seemingly studying at a table of
books. One of them holds up an Oreo and whispers to his tablemate, Ive always preferred the cream
part of an Oreo. In a nonchalant whisper, the tablemate replies, That s insane, the cream is the best
part! From that moment a whisper argument starts. The two tablemates are whispering in reply to each
other, Cream! , Cookie! , Cream! As the whisper exchange escalates, one of them finally stands up and
flips the table over. Their aggression is noticed by others and the need to partake in a rumble soon
erupts. Soon, the whole library starts physically contending with each other defending their opinion as
to which part of the Oreo is best.
A chair is broken across another person s back, racks of books are being pushed over to create a
domino effect onto someone s body, librarians are dodging lamps being hurled across the library, and
people are wrestling each other off the second floor balcony. Even in the midst of all the mayhem,
everyone is still using their whisper voice. As a fire starts to break out from all the turmoil, a couple

Describe at least one of these experiments and explain the significance of the findings. In one of the
experiments, Mary Gasseling took a little patch of tissue, early in development, from what would be
the pinky side of a limb bud. She took that tissue and put it on the opposite side right beneath where
the first finger would form. The chick would develop and form a wing; the new fingers were also
copies of the normal set. Basically, the tissue (more specifically some molecule or gene inside the
tissue) was able to direct the development of the pattern of the fingers. This led to further experiments
that defined the ZPA, or the zone of polarizing activity. This patch of tissue is able to determine the
difference between the pinky side and the thumb side. 2. Describe the hedgehog gene using several
animal examples. Be sure to explain its function and its region of activity in the body. Hedgehog is a
gene active in ZPA. ZPA is only located in little clusters and with this hedgehog gene, it creates a
mirror image in limbs for the development and growth. The gene creates digits that are clearly
different from one another depending on how close they are to the ZPA. The chicken version of the
hedgehog gene was named Sonic hedgehog and it activates once Vitamin A is injected. All creatures

Americans in the 1920s were fresh off of World War I and freshly into the Prohibition Era. The
American Dream was well defined a life of wealth, comfort, and exuberance. After a World War I
victory, the Dream was thought to be in the near future for every American. The country was seen as a
world superpower, wealthy after the devastation of a war fought entirely overseas and brimming with
hope and possibility at least on the surface. Despite the highs experienced by much of the country, it
wasn t without its problems. Crime violence was benevolently running the streets and the Speakeasies

Because of this injury, Jake cannot be with the woman he loves and this plot line serves as a catalyst
for the larger and far more important theme about the American Dream and chasing everything
desired, but never truly being able to achieve these dreams to satiation. Hemingway portrays the
Dream as both an overarching theme of the novel, but also shows us it s failures and quirks through
more minor means. Gender dynamics are broken and often swapped between characters the
protagonist, Jake Barnes, is unable to have sex or reproduce, putting him in a more effeminate role as
a man who must remain celibate for the remainder of his life. To juxtapose this lack of masculine
identity, Hemingway even places Jake opposite Lady Brett Ashley (Jake s love interest throughout the
novel) who self proclaims herself one of the chaps. She oftens exhibits what has traditionally been
considered masculine behavior. Brett has a rebellious wild streak, smokes and drinks, lacks any
religion or fully formed moral beliefs. She s promiscuous and soon to be a divorcee. Brett seems to
emasculate many of the men around her; both because of her self confident, almost aggressive
mannerisms and because of her ability to collect and throw away men at her slightest whim. Lady
Brett is everything (or at least many aspects) of what Jake might have been the strong, self assured and
self satisfied macho man who believes everything is some

The Inquirery of Sennachrib For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast, / And breathed in

Sennachrib by Lord Byron. In the poem, many different types of literary devises are used. The
Destruction of Sennachrib, by Lord Byron, uses heavy amounts of imagery, metaphor, and
euphemism, and this poem is about a battle that took place, and the aftermath of it. This poem also has
a unique thanatopsis; by using more gentle is of describing the dead soldiers.

Byron uses sensory words to paint a morbid image of death and pain from times past. Lord Byron uses
visual imagery to illustrate the dead soldiers from the battle. And there lay the rider distorted and pale,
/ With the dew on his brow, and the rust on his mail: (Byron 17 18). This quote is more descriptive
than just saying that people died. It paints a surrealistic image of the field. Instead it painted a picture
of pain and suffering and a loss of life that makes the reader feel the sadness of the battle. This also
gives the poem a saturnine feeling. This is the third of many literary devices in The Destruction of
Sennachrib.
Imagery is also used in many other parts of the poem. Like the leaves of the forest when Summer is

The Love Languages Of The Children
It is a universal truth that we all need love in our lives. We all have different ways in which we like to
receive and give love. Many of us may not even realize that we do. Gary Chapman writes about five
different ways in which we love and titles them five love languages. It is important to identify how we
love, because it can allow us to have a happier life and make other people s lives better. It is especially
important to identify the love languages of the children which we encounter, because it can shape their
identity either for the better or worse. There are five major love languages that can be identified and
can pretty much sum up the best ways we can express our love. The five love languages are touch,
words of affirmation, giving, time, and service. A child s love language can be identified in two ways,
through observation and through communication, which pretty much also depends on their love
language. We can observe the child and see if he enjoys touching his parents and siblings, or if he does
things and then looks to see what the parent will say or perhaps just sits next to their siblings and
follows them around. Love languages are adaptable and although most humans have all the love
languages, some are stronger than others. The love languages of the parents effects what the love
languages of the children will be. For example if the parents hug a lot or if they buy gifts for each
other the child can adopt that gift and want to use it

  • 4. Analysis Of D. Cross Academy In the process of being rewritten :D Cross Academy was a prestigious boarding school known for its state of the art education system and gothic architecture. Countless arched windows littered around every inch of the building, showering the interior with beams of glimmering light. Yet somehow the structure seemed to retain its somber atmosphere. As if it housed something unknown. Cross Academy was an elite school for the rich and talented, with an extensive campus enveloped in a thick grove of wild trees and exuberant greenery flourishing in the new season. During this time of year chromatic flowers bloomed across the forest floor. Large petals eagerly emerged from the flowers core after a long year of arduous waiting, sparkling in the sun and offering the rather gloomy establishment a facade of warmth, hiding it for what it truly was. For Cross Academy wasn t so innocent. Deep inside its matured walls held something frightful. Vampires. The school day was split into two schedules. In the day, students from the sun dorms, the Day Class, departed to the main building for their first class. However during the evening the main building entertained the creatures of the dark. More commonly known as the Night Class. Only a select few were aware of the existence of vampires and their presence in Cross Academy while the rest of the pupils spent their days admiring these marvelous creatures in ignorance. During late afternoons when day classes had finished up, one would find ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

According to the CDC, hemophilia will occur in approximately 1 in 5,000 live births. It is called classic hemophilia due to the fact that this hemophilia is four times more common as hemophilia B. This disorder is mainly a hereditary bleeding disorder which is caused by an inherited X linked recessive trait. Some acquired forms do exist as well, largely in older patients, due to autoantibodies directed against factor VIII. The defected gene is located on the X chromosome. • 7. Animal Mounted Shooting Is A Event Cowboy mounted Shooting is a timed event where competitors run a designated pattern, while shooting ten balloon targets with two .45 caliber single action revolver guns, loaded with five rounds of blank ammunition each. Mounted shooting combines the styles of an old time Wild West show and skills of barrel racing, pole bending, and reigning all into one event. Any breed of horse or mule can be used in the event, according to the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association, some horses take easy to the event while other horses struggle with the loud environment. The temperament is a huge factor of how well the animal compete in the show, along with the rider s determination in training the horse. A horse I believe would be good for mounted shooting would be a small quarter horse with a short back because quarter horses are known for their laid back and quite domineer. While short back would be useful with bending around the poles and barrels in a quick manner. Although, traditional western style is accepted, with long sleeve western style shirt, five pocket blue jeans, chaps, western boots and cowboy hat. Riders are encouraged to wear a period costume since, the event pays tribute to the Wild West and the late 1800s. Competitors dressed in old time style costumes would wear a shirt without a collar, high wasted pants with buttons in place of the zipper, and an old style cowboy hat. • 8. Essay about Argument Against Human Cloning In 1997, the first clone of a sheep named Dolly was created. This embryo had a success rate of one to four percent. When applied to humans, this percentage may decrease and become lower and more unpredictable. With lives at stake, is it worth the risk of the embryos involved in the unstable process? Although cloning may allow for new medical procedures and research of diseases and cures, it takes away from the natural biological order of life, and allows humans to play God while creating a margin of error which could result in many defects. Many ethical and moral dilemmas arise when discussing human cloning, and one can have many positions for and against each. To understand the issues surrounding human cloning, one must have a basic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 1997, President Clinton proposed a moratorium on cloning that would not allow funding by the government. A bill was also presented in the Senate in 2001 that would legally ban cloning regardless of its funding, whether it was federal or private. The repercussions of infringement on this law would be up to ten years in jail and a fine of up to $10 million (A). Human cloning proposes many arguments for each opposing side and can greatly impact the modern world based upon the research obtained through it. Whether or not that research is morally and ethically correct is the topic of most discussions in the genetics field. Beginning with the moral argument, one must understand reproductive freedom. Most cloning activists say that reproduction, or the lack there of, is a natural freedom given to people (C). Restricting human cloning would be a violation of that right. Just as people can choose not to reproduce using contraception, abortion, or abstinence, people should be allowed to use all means possible within their ability to reproduce, such as through cloning and in vitro fertilization (C). Cloning is the application of this right specifically (C). Another benefit of cloning is the ability to clone someone who has died to console those who are grieving over their lost loved one or to clone the DNA of a person that was known for his of her greatness. Scientists would be able to recreate these people in a new environment (C). A clone s parent may have come from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

What could their child have done to have lost all rights of having a roof overhead and being kicked out with nothing more than a bag of clothes and a couple dollars for either some phone calls or some food? • 10. Hidden Education And The Hidden Curriculum Question 1 The hidden curriculum is sensed in every district building, school, and classroom, and an observant outsider will be able to perceive the way things work and pick up on the culture and values of the school as they travel the halls. Yet, the students inside and teachers attend each day, perhaps unaware of the established environment and system. This hidden or implicit curriculum plays a significant role in the educational life of a student and the professional life of a teacher, as the norms and day to day happenings engender a culture that impacts behavior and beliefs. Some aspects of the hidden curriculum are hard to identify, while some are purposeful but not explicitly taught. The following authors address the various definitions and issues that are associated with this powerful facet of learners education and educators profession. First, Jackson (1968) describes hidden curriculum as the substance of school life that warrants serious attention (in Flinders Thornton, 2013). Students spend hours and hours in school, with no choice whether or not to go, and the unnoticed and unremarkable events that occur each day collectively have a powerful impact on a child. Jackson compares schools to prisons, where attendance is involuntary and the norms and routines are learned. Just like a prisoner, if a child does not conform and learn the rules of his environment, he will struggle to make it through. Jackson identifies criteria of hidden curriculum for ... The attractive attributes that emerging markets offer contributing to the strong future growth of investments include growing consumption, low debt levels, and room for productivity gains. First, growing consumption means that emerging economies are focusing more on domestic consumption led growth rather than importing goods from developed countries. Additionally, emerging economies are also offering relatively low debt levels because their balance sheet are usually safe due to their spending limitations and high saving rates. Last, according to analysts, emerging markets are investing in better infrastructure and technological advances, which could greatly boost sustainable economic growth in those countries. These three attributes are potential factors to be accounted when making an investment (Brisk, T. 2011). However, there are also some risk factors when investing in emerging markets that investors must consider such as, currency instability, inflation, and political risks. First, currency instability includes exchange rates. In emerging economics, exchange rates decline in value quickly, which reduce the gains or magnify the losses of an investment in dollar terms. Moreover, the Inflation risks which is a problem that has periodically cropped up in emerging markets. Inflation devaluates currencies, hurts corporate profit margins, and slows economic growth ... Savchenko served as a volunteer soldier who fought in the war in the region of Ukraine known as Donbas, and was captured, tried in Moscow, and sentenced for a 22 year imprisonment of a supposed collaboration of murder of two Russian journalists. The Abortion Of The Fetus I am going to argue that its is right to claim that, even if a fetus is a person, abortion is still permissible when one s risk in health/stability/happiness is threatened. I believe that any woman, who houses the fetus inside her body for estimated nine months have the right and the choice to abortion when it is for one s health, stability and happiness for both the mother and the unborn fetus. Thomson s argument is entitled as Defense to Abortion . I agree to Thomson and her argument when it comes to aborting a fetus, even if a fetus is a person. Yes, it has it s own DNA, and it s own life but when it threatens the house that it stays in, which in this case would be the woman/mother s womb, I believe the abortion of the fetus, is permissible. Thomson states it cannot be seriously thought to be murder if the mother performs an abortion on herself to save her life. (Thomson, Defense on Abortion, pg6) Thomson gives an example of a violinist being plugged into another human, using their blood in high hopes of survival by that person s kidneys extracting the poison from the violinist s blood. The person never agreed to do such, being that it was decided by the Society of Music Lovers; but did not go against it by detaching himself from the violinist knowing that it can cause death. This explains that there are events where we don t have much of a freedom of choice when there is a conscious person/life involved meaning, when there is a conscious life in our hands, ... He soon came to the conclusion that he could build a far better engine than the puny gasoline machines Benz and Daimler had designed and knocked up a prototype, an enormous 3 m (10 ft) high machine, in the early 1890s. Since the bubbles of real estate market in America came into surface on August 9, 2007 investors were losing their confidence on subprime mortgage assets and the liquidity risk followed behind. I joined a campus ministry called The Navigators and started to disciple under one of the leaders named Josh Lashbrook. We started to meet one day a week, so he could teach me and start to mold me into a leader. He taught me different religious tools and techniques on how to talk to people and sharing the word of God. When I first started to have meeting with him, I did not have a lot of knowledge on speaking with others and trying to convey a good message. Following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, the major breweries continued to use unmalted cereal grains to provide the full body and mouthfeel of a real beer while keeping the alcohol content low. The maturation tanks (they call them chip tanks) that Anheuser Busch utilizes are horizontal and, as such, the yeast aggregates more quickly. Anheuser Busch refers to this process as a secondary fermentation, with the idea being that the chips give the yeast more surface area to rest on. This is also combined with a procedure that re introduces wort into the chip tank therefore activating the fermentation process again. By placing chips at the bottom of the tank, the yeast remains in suspension longer, giving it more time to reabsorb and process green beer flavors that Anheuser Busch believes are off flavors which detract from overall drinkability. As with most food products opinions differ regarding its taste. It s different, because it was dealing with adolescents struggling with depression, and had an indefinite stay at Greenleaf. There are many factors and concepts from our class present in this treatment group. One of the first concepts that I found in this group was its group work values. Many of the participants found a positive value from coming to the group. This makes handling groups easier, because it causes less stress on the facilitator to keep control of derailers and whiners. Another group value that I saw was that cooperation and democracy. I feel like this ideal was embodied in each group member, because from my perception they felt as though they had thought and ... • 21. Business Structure Of The United States Throughout the history of the United States, one salient aspect of business is the corporation, as evidenced by the formation of the first successful English colony, Jamestown, through the Virginia Joint Stock Company. Early restricted corporations and small businesses built a society and a new world, while later corporations crippled their employees and communities. Using Clare International from Richard Power s Gain as a case study, this paper will establish the status quo of early internal business structures and the significance of capital in community business relationships. Then, it will explore how incorporation and growth correlates to a loss of community in internal firm organization and a loss of shared capital between the company and society. In the late 18th century, production in America came primarily in the form of small business enterprise. Each business owner had a strong personal connection with the personnel and trade associated with their business. Owners of the shops had strong control over their hiring process, and employed individuals known as apprentices to work for them. These apprentices would work their way up in the trade shop, until finally moving on. Throughout the process, the apprentices and owners often bonded intimately, with the apprentice keeping all the master s secrets while the business owner would often ask the apprentice to eat (and sometimes even board) in their own residence. Antisocial Personality Disorder ( Adhd ) Antisocial Personality Disorder Kevin Adams Medgar Ever College Antisocial Personality Disorder is often wrongly called sociopathy or psychopathy although both sociopathy and psychopathy are not recognized professional labels for the diagnosis. Antisocial may not be the best way to describe the disorder because it implies shyness and people who suffer from the disorder tend to be more outgoing, charming and pragmatic. The term came about because the disorder is anti society. It s behavior that s directed against society. (Black, 2013) To my surprise ASPD is actually quite common, being as common as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder [ADHD], obsessive compulsive disorder [OCD], and panic; and it may be even more common when taking into account those who don t report or those who deny their symptoms. ASPD is diagnosed using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, 5th edition [DSM 5]. Antisocial Personality Disorder [ASPD] is characterized by a lack of sensitivity, aggression hostility, deceitfulness, manipulative behavior, impulsiveness, imprudence, narcissism, and irresponsibility. According to Donald W. The representation of these suburban parents, teachers, and students in 16 Candles is comparable to the suburban TV show Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and they share many similarities in their portrayal of characters, while differing greatly from urban films. The only teacher in the film appears at the beginning and is only present for a miniscule amount of screen time. On the chalkboard behind him, there are insults written about him, presumably from the students in his class. History Lesson reflects on the past when there used to be segregation of blacks and whites until Natasha brings the poem back to modern day and reminds the reader that segregation is history because of the changes made to laws. Incident is a very powerfully written poem as Natasha writes about the Ku Klux Klan. She explains that this story is told every year when she is reminded of the men who were white as angels which was the KKK marching outside going against african american lives. Using the perspective of Radical Feminist Thought, I argue that such violence is normalized through the lack of current public resistance to this crime and contends that women themselves begin to see this type of treatment as acceptable. Structurally, this paper will begin by providing a concise summary of the values of Radical feminism to give clarification on the standpoint of this feminist position in analysis of the current event. It will describe the history of criminalizing domestic violence; how liberal and radical feminist views differ in looking at the private/public and how popular understanding of domestic violence has shifted significantly over the years ... It is that radical feminist theory has impacted society on both the micro and the macro level, resulting women s movement for equality in bringing social changes impacting the responses to domestic violence issues. Our popular understanding and legal approach to domestic violence has shifted dramatically throughout the years. There has been a shift from the private response, where domestic violence was considered a product of relationship dysfunction, to a fully public campaign in which the state takes the lead in combating domestic violence through arrest and prosecution of abusers. This shift, I have argued, reflects a radical feminist understanding of domestic violence as patriarchal force and was informed by earlier radical feminist theorizing on ... Our vision is to reach young people who may not have a church background, teach and train them, equip them, and qualify them to go out and win souls. We believe that by doing this, we will build a strong army who can take our community, state, and the world for Christ. We want to reach young people ages 10 18 in our community. HOW SHAKESPEARE PRESENTS ROMEO S FEELINGS IN ACT 1 SCENE 1 AND ACT 2 SCENE 2 Love is an important theme in most of Shakespeare s play, including in Romeo and Juliet because love is a stronger force than all the animosity and forces of fate in Romeo and Juliet. In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare s play, Shakespeare explores Romeo s change in attitude to love between Rosaline and Juliet. In Act 1 Scene 1 Shakespeare introduces us to Romeo s passionate desire towards Rosaline through the use of oxymoron, monologues and vivid imagery. In contrast, in Act 2 Scene 2, when Romeo is addressing Juliet, his language shifts through the use of light, religious and mythical imagery to reflect his newly found romantic love to Juliet. In Act 1 scene ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This notion is furthered through the use of binary opposition throughout Romeo s oxymoron O brawling love, O loving hate . This monologue of strong contrasting images of love and hate in one sentence suggests that Romeo finds the intensity of his emotion towards Rosaline destabilising and his emotion is not calm and peaceful. Indeed, the deployment of oxymoron throughout Romeo s speech such as heavy lightness or cold fire, sick health suggests that the character so overwhelmed by his feelings that he loses the sight of his common sense and spins and turns into mad love towards Rosaline. In Act 2, Scene, 2 Romeo s attitude to love shifts from an infatuated love towards Rosaline to more true and youthful love he feels for Juliet. When Romeo sets his eyes on Juliet for the first time, he uses light imagery to express his feelings Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon . For Romeo, Juliet is the sun who has brought brightness into his life like the sun that brought brightness to people s lives. This beautifully romantic imagery highlights the purity of Romeo s feelings and underscores to the reader the powerful force of love that Romeo is now entangled in. Moreover, Shakespeare uses religious imagery to strengthen Romeo s feelings. He refers Juliet as a bright angel , who is a winged messenger of heaven .This religious imagery highlights the perfection of Romeo s love to Juliet ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Even though the movie s characters were high school students and I was entering seventh grade at the time, their varied personalities seemed incredibly relatable to me. And as the months would pass, the idea of putting my thoughts about a short story based on the film on notebook paper rarely entered my mind. It all started when my grandmother, brother, cousin, and I were all invited by a religious organization to travel with other churchgoers to Allensworth, California. Formerly the first town founded by African Americans, it was now a historic park in the state s Central Valley area. My mother truly desired for my brother and I to go, as we would learn more about the history of our ethnicity. To keep from being bored, I brought a black ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The younger sister s boyfriend was a new student and a geek, and the older sister s boyfriend was a troublemaker, just like the film. But there were a few big differences: while both sisters in the movie were both in high school, in my story, the younger sister was a high school freshman and the older sister was a young adult. Rhetorical Analysis Of Cookie Or Cream Rhetorical analysis: Cookie or Cream Akeilao Canada Devry University Rhetorical analysis: Cookie or Cream This rhetorical analysis is about the Nabisco company airing a funny commercial during the Super Bowl called Whisper Fight. Nabisco shows that all 3 appeals do not have to be used in order to create an effective advertisement. The commercial starts off in a two story library. Two students are seemingly studying at a table of books. One of them holds up an Oreo and whispers to his tablemate, Ive always preferred the cream part of an Oreo. In a nonchalant whisper, the tablemate replies, That s insane, the cream is the best part! From that moment a whisper argument starts. The two tablemates are whispering in reply to each other, Cream! , Cookie! , Cream! As the whisper exchange escalates, one of them finally stands up and flips the table over. Their aggression is noticed by others and the need to partake in a rumble soon erupts. Soon, the whole library starts physically contending with each other defending their opinion as to which part of the Oreo is best. A chair is broken across another person s back, racks of books are being pushed over to create a domino effect onto someone s body, librarians are dodging lamps being hurled across the library, and people are wrestling each other off the second floor balcony. Even in the midst of all the mayhem, everyone is still using their whisper voice. As a fire starts to break out from all the turmoil, a couple ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Describe at least one of these experiments and explain the significance of the findings. In one of the experiments, Mary Gasseling took a little patch of tissue, early in development, from what would be the pinky side of a limb bud. She took that tissue and put it on the opposite side right beneath where the first finger would form. The chick would develop and form a wing; the new fingers were also copies of the normal set. Basically, the tissue (more specifically some molecule or gene inside the tissue) was able to direct the development of the pattern of the fingers. This led to further experiments that defined the ZPA, or the zone of polarizing activity. This patch of tissue is able to determine the difference between the pinky side and the thumb side. 2. The country was seen as a world superpower, wealthy after the devastation of a war fought entirely overseas and brimming with hope and possibility at least on the surface. Because of this injury, Jake cannot be with the woman he loves and this plot line serves as a catalyst for the larger and far more important theme about the American Dream and chasing everything desired, but never truly being able to achieve these dreams to satiation. Hemingway portrays the Dream as both an overarching theme of the novel, but also shows us it s failures and quirks through more minor means. Gender dynamics are broken and often swapped between characters the protagonist, Jake Barnes, is unable to have sex or reproduce, putting him in a more effeminate role as a man who must remain celibate for the remainder of his life. To juxtapose this lack of masculine identity, Hemingway even places Jake opposite Lady Brett Ashley (Jake s love interest throughout the novel) who self proclaims herself one of the chaps. She oftens exhibits what has traditionally been considered masculine behavior. Brett has a rebellious wild streak, smokes and drinks, lacks any religion or fully formed moral beliefs. She s promiscuous and soon to be a divorcee. Brett seems to emasculate many of the men around her; both because of her self confident, almost aggressive mannerisms and because of her ability to collect and throw away men at her slightest whim. It paints a surrealistic image of the field. Instead it painted a picture of pain and suffering and a loss of life that makes the reader feel the sadness of the battle. This also gives the poem a saturnine feeling. This is the third of many literary devices in The Destruction of Sennachrib. Imagery is also used in many other parts of the poem. • 40. The Love Languages Of The Children It is a universal truth that we all need love in our lives. We all have different ways in which we like to receive and give love. Many of us may not even realize that we do. Gary Chapman writes about five different ways in which we love and titles them five love languages. It is important to identify how we love, because it can allow us to have a happier life and make other people s lives better. It is especially important to identify the love languages of the children which we encounter, because it can shape their identity either for the better or worse. There are five major love languages that can be identified and can pretty much sum up the best ways we can express our love. The five love languages are touch, words of affirmation, giving, time, and service. A child s love language can be identified in two ways, through observation and through communication, which pretty much also depends on their love language. We can observe the child and see if he enjoys touching his parents and siblings, or if he does things and then looks to see what the parent will say or perhaps just sits next to their siblings and follows them around. Love languages are adaptable and although most humans have all the love languages, some are stronger than others. The love languages of the parents effects what the love languages of the children will be. For example if the parents hug a lot or if they buy gifts for each other the child can adopt that gift and want to use it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
