Welfare Definition Of Economics By Alfred Marshall
WELFARE DEFINITION OF ECONOMICS
About the Author: Alfred Marshall (26th July 1842 13th July 1924)
The Welfare Definition of the subject of economics was put forward by the pioneer neoclassical
economist from England, Dr. Alfred Marshall, in his book Principles of Economics published in
1890.
Marshall, who was born in the London suburb of Clapham, was educated at Merchant s Taylor
School. He showed tremendous mathematical aptitude and participated in Cambridge University s
most revered degree competition Mathematical Tripos, where he secured the second rank,
bettered only by Lord Rayleigh. This secured a position of fellow in St. John s University,
Cambridge and along with mathematics, he got himself involved rigorously in the study of
philosophical foundations and moral basis of human behaviour and social organisation. He
became a lecturer of Moral Sciences at St. John s in 1868, with a specialisation in Political
Economy , as Economics was then called. He henceforth worked tirelessly in transforming the
subject into a more logical and scientific one. Marshall met Mary Paley, a student in the informal
lectures for women by the Cambridge University and taught her Political Economy. In 1877, they
decided to get married and this forced Marshall to leave his position in Cambridge due to the
celibacy rule in place. He joined as the first Principal at University College, Bristol; which later

Extract Proteins From The Muscle Tissue Of Various Fish...
Abstract: The purpose of this experiment was extract proteins from the muscle tissue of various fish
species and execute an SDS PAGE to determine similarities in their respective protein profiles. The
seven species examined in this investigation were the Yellow Tuna (Thunnus albacares), Thresher
Shark (Alopias vulpinus), Paiche (Arapaima gigas), Swordfish (Xiphias gladius), Catfish (Ameiurus
catus), Coho Salmon(Oncorhynchuskisutch), and Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). A sample
of muscle tissue from each of the seven fishspecies was placed in a microtube containing Laemmli
Sample Buffer, in order to disrupt and denature the tissue. The microtube was incubated at room
temperature for five minutes, and then was placed in a 95В°C hot... Show more content on

They are directly controlled by DNA specific sequencing and coding. Since proteins are influenced
by DNA, their profiles, also known as proteomes, are indicative of evolutionary and genetic
relatedness. These proteomes vary from cell to cell, as the function of each group of cells is
different. Proteomics refers to the study of protein structure, function, and interaction within a
certain environment in an organism.
The purpose of this experiment is to perform a procedure known as SDS PAGE (sodium dodecyl
sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) in order to determine protein profiles for seven fish
species: Yellow Tuna (Thunnus albacares), Thresher Shark (Alopias vulpinus), Paiche (Arapaima
gigas), Swordfish (Xiphias gladius), Catfish (Ameiurus catus), Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus
kisutch), and Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). The gel electrophoresis separates the fish
muscle proteins according to their molecular weights, which allows one to determine a profile for
each specie.
The goal of this experiment is to extract proteins from fish muscle tissue, unfold and denature them,
load them for gel electrophoresis, and determine the success in our efforts to classify and compare
fish muscle protein profiles. These protein profiles will help establish the shared characteristics and
evolutionary relationships between any two given fish species.

Capital Market And Accounting Information
Capital Market and Accounting Information
Submitted to: Mr. Syed Abdulla Al Mamun, Ph.D. Assistant Professor North South University
Introduction
Today we take the capital market very much for granted. The creation of an economy in which
the limited liability companies could easily be formed and their shares sold and transferred
between investors dates from the industrial revolution of Great Britain. The concept of shares
being transferable was a brilliant idea. It enables investors to invest in a business for just as long
as they wish. When they wish to end their interest, they are able to sell their shares without
harming the company whatsoever. An open and free market allows them to sell shares easily.
From the company s point of view, it has a long term capital in the form of shares for as long as it
wishes. Also, it is an easy mechanism through which the company can raise new capital.
The relationship between published financial or accounting information and capital market is a
complex one. The capital market is affected by analyst s forecasts and expectations putting pressure
on companies to adjust their reported earning numbers. Share prices are affected by the way

Sea Dragons, a Marine Fish Essay
Did you see that? Looking in the sea of the south and west tropical coast of Austria a diver
observing very closely in the sea can easily miss this genital, well camouflaged marine fish in
plain sight, the sea dragon. Although they are very similar to the seahorse, sea dragons are quite
different in amazing ways and are divided into two diverse genus and species, Phycodurus eques
(Leafy Sea Dragons) and Phyllopteryx taeniolatus (Weedy Sea Dragons). Here you will learn about
the taxonomic classification (Kingdom, Phylums/Division, Class, Order, Family Genus, Species),
physical characteristics/ biology, habitat, ecology, and much more. Let us examine this creature

Also, like seahorses they have a horse like head and a fused jaw(National Geographic). On the
other hand there are differences and both sea dragons take on the appearance of seaweed and
kelp to blend in with their habitat. The leafy seadragon, phycodurus eques have appendages that
are leaf like in appearance, ranging from different sizes along its head, body, and tail. Spaking of
size, a adult leafy seadragon can reach a lighth of 20 24cm(8 10 inches) in some cases up to
35cm(1.1ft) in total length ; this is impressive size for a marine fish in the syngnathidae family, but
is smaller than its close cousin, the weedy dragon ,which averages 30cm and can reach up to
45cm (1.5ft)( PRIMEFACT). Although their appendages are not used for locomotion, using
small, transparent pectoral fins, which are located on the neck, and a dorsal fin that run along
the seadragon s back are used to make tiny movements through the water columnv(Yankalilla).
Also extending from their hard bony plated body are long sharp spines that can serve for defense
purposes (Mlssa). Concerning leafy seadragons color it is said that in shallow water they are
yellow brown or greenish with dark pink rib bands and green brown pronounced leafy appendages;
in deeper water, those that live there are dark brown to burgundy red. In contrast the weedy

Chiricahua Fort Sill Apaches.
.
Chiricahua Fort Sill Apaches The Chiricahua band of the larger Apache tribe was fractured
through attempted assimilation by the United States government. The attempted assimilation of a
regionally nomadic people whose entire society spiritually and culturally is based upon ties to
nature leads to an eventual violent reaction by a portion of the tribe, through propagation of fear
and political pressure the entire band is taken into custody with prisoner of war status. Eventually
this status will define and even give way to the only federally created tribe, a unique distinction
created through a federal over reach of power that can be considered genocidal in nature. This tribe
is known as the Fort Sill Apaches.
In order to understand the Chiricahua band of the Apaches the land from which they come must be
understood. There is not much in the way of ancient history concerning this people, what is known
is that the Apaches are made up of four separate bands of people of which one is Chiricahua and
the Chiricahua has six matrilineal bands of its own, according to Geronimo. Be don ko he(Geronimo
s band), the Chi hen ne(Ojo Caliente), Hot Springs, White Mountain, Cho kon en, and Ned ni
Apaches these bands ranged in present day Arizona, New Mexico, and the northern border region
of Mexico . These regions of the southwest are very arid dry and somewhat mountainous in certain
areas. This people are truly connected to the land, A Chiricahua s specific birthplace was a sacred

Tupac Amaru Shakur s Change Essay
The cry of injustice has become louder and louder and those people who are knowledgeable
about their ancestral history, feel hopelessness in the midst of this unfortunate rebirth of the New
Jim Crow. Their hopelessness is further fed and satisfied by the powers that be who arrange for
African Americans to be unable to escape the extreme cycle of poverty forcing them to adapt the
best way they can to their current situation; whether that be murdering someone like yourself or
selling narcotics. Tupac Amaru Shakur, wrote the famous song Changes in 1992 but it was
released after he was murdered, in October 1998. Tupac exposes the reality of commonly ignored
societal ills such as racism, classism, and discrimination and establishes that unity is the only way
out. Through the use of juxtaposition, allusion and call to action, Tupac illustrates his thoughts on
racial desperation and its correlation to overarching racism during the period of social unrest in the
United States and the importance of establishing a united front to fight back. Although written
more than twenty four years ago, currently we are facing a heightened cultural climate in the
United States and the relevancy of Tupac s song Changes is more than necessary. Tupac has
become a spokesperson of not only his generation, but current American society. Tupac Amaru
Shakur was born on June 16, 1971 in East Harlem, New York, in the United States. Tupac was the
top rapper of his time, not only for his music, but also

Honda Motor Company
Porter s Five Forces (Industry Analysis)
Bargaining Power of Suppliers:
The automobile supply companies have limited bargaining power. There are so many supply firms
and there are so many parts that are required to produce an automobile, requiring numerous
suppliers, one would think that the automakers would be at the supplier s mercy. However, the
suppliers really have very little power. The suppliers tend to rely on one or two automakers to
purchase the majority of their products. If the automaker decides to change suppliers, the effects to
the supplier would be devastating. With the JIT (Just in Time) manufacturing methodology Honda
utilizes, there is a push pull mechanism. This warrants a strong relationship between ... Show more

The exception to this is in urban areas where walking, mass transit, riding a bicycle is preferred by
some.
Degree of Rivalry:
Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Hyundai have similar vehicles and are routinely compared to each
other. Honda makes the Accord, Toyota has the Camry, Nissan has the Maxima, and Hyundai
produces the Sonata. All are considered in the same class. Marketing of the companies themselves,
all indicate they are comparable. The degree of rivalry continues to increase as new technology
develops, environmental concerns rise, and the economy challenges the market. The automotive
industry is considered to be an oligopoly, which helps to minimize the effects of price based
competition. The competition between the companies continues to intensify due to the changes in
the economy. The companies use rebates, financing, long term warranties, and recently the
guarantee to make payment or return the vehicle should the consumer lose their job. This is
definitely a sign of the times. The automotive companies compare themselves to each other. In their
advertising campaigns, the companies point out the weakness of the other company and stressing
their strength compared to the other companies.
The American market is Honda s largest contributor. As the economy continues to be in turmoil,
Americans are turning to Honda for their small, low maintenance and more fuel efficient vehicles.
The organization has a firm hold on hybrid and fuel cell vehicles, such

Not Just On Sunday At The United States Army
Not Just on Sunday
In the many years I have been working; in high school, a soldier in the United States Army,
factory work along side of my father, and in law enforcement, I have experienced many leaders or
bosses who were products of what they were taught or not taught. Those skills they adopted along
the way, they imparted them to lead people. Maybe, in their hearts, these leaders had theological
beliefs and principles they learned and practiced Sunday or their own Sabbath, Remember the
Sabbath day by keeping it holy (Exodus 20:8), but it just seemed to me, on Monday through Friday,
in my work life experience, those theological principals taught on Sunday ended sometime
between the end of Sunday service and the beginning of the work week on Monday. In other
words, scripture (s) that was read and interpreted on Sunday did not collate or merge in their daily
lives, and this led to leadership principles and skills that were without Jesus. It was a division:
Jesus and His mercy on Sunday and a secular ideology on Monday through Friday. I have always
believed those theological principals taught on Sunday, Bible Study, Revivals, or weekly Bible
Schools, etc. was just not extended beyond the church doors to the work environment where
those same individuals who ask for Jesus mercy and love, failed to show mercy and love to the men
and women they led daily. No boss I worked for has ever come to me after I made a mistake and
said: Everyone makes mistakes sometime, From now

Sonnet 43
Sonnet 43 (Sonnets From the Portuguese) BY Elizabeth Barrett Browning How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when
feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of every day s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right; I love thee
purely, as they turn from praise, I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with
my childhood s faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints I love thee with
the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

other hand, as she moves on in the poem, and her voice gets more and more passionate as she
continues to develop her list of ways she loves her husband, she builds each line s rhythm to

almost completely ignoring traditional form WITH my LOST SAINTS I LOVE THEE with the
BREATH,/SMILES, TEARS of ALL my LIFE! Another set structure for sonnets is how each line
ends. Traditionally, each line ends with punctuation, a period, comma or otherwise to create a
pause and contain a complete thought. Lines which end this way are called end stopped. Reading
through Sonnet 43 , we notice that five of the 14 lines do not end with a set pause; rather, they are
enjambed. Enjambed means to carry over; this term describes how one line flows into the next
without hesitation. To try to understand what Barrett Browning s intentions might be for this move
away from traditional form, it is useful again to notice what the mood of the poem is where she
breaks the rules. In the first stanza, as she begins to count the ways, the ways she

“White Man’s Burden” Essay
Rudyard Kipling s 1899 poem The White Man s Burden epitomizes the European man s view on
imperialism, Euro centrism and social Darwinism. Four centuries before 1899, such ideas were
briefly hinted in the letter from Christopher Columbus to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella,
however by 1899 these attitudes strengthened and developed fully into their complete meaning. The
U.S and Europe s imperialism in the nineteenth century were the most influential ever in the history
of human civilization. The immense motive for imperialism came from social factors including
religion and Social Darwinism.
Missionaries frequently rushed to Africa and Asia to convert its people to Christianity. On the other

Taking care indicates improvement of their culture until they reach that of the Euro American
standards which makes it clear that The White man s Burden proposes that the phase after
exploration is the self centered education of the colonial population. The same month Kipling s
poem was published, the Treaty of Paris was ratified and the Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Guam
were acquired by the United States while Cuba remained occupied by the military. Advocates of
this acquisition gravitated to the poem and popularized it as the literary voice of benevolent
assimilation. The poem makes clear Kipling s view of attitudes that allowed colonialism to proceed.
Although a belief in the virtues of empire was widespread at the time, there were also many
dissenters; the publication of the poem caused a flurry of arguments from both sides, most
notably from Mark Twain and Henry James. Mark Twain asserted that Kipling wrote the poem to
help persuade many doubting Americans to seize the Philippines, which seemed to be a fair point
of view for that time period. In the New York Herald, October 15, 1900, Twain describes his
transformation and political awakening, in the context of the Philippine American War. He
recognizes his transformation from being Pro imperialist to Anti imperialist. Many Anti
imperialists like Mark Twain acted on the popularity of the poem to attack the McKinley s policies

What Does Henry Fleming Symbolize In The Red Badge Of Courage
John Tunis exposes Henry Fleming s true nature and emotions through examples of motif and
symbolism in his novel The Red Badge of Courage.
Although there are several different motifs in this novel, two main ones that I noticed are: the idea
of becoming a man, or the coming of age, and the constant them of courage. Although the amount of
time from the beginning of the book to the end is only a couple of days, the amount of character
development within Henry is tremendous. At the beginning Henry is a boy who romanticizes and
fantasizes about battles and war, as stated in the first chapter, He had, of course, dreamed of
battles all his life of vague and bloody conflicts that had thrilled him with their sweep and fire. In
visions he had seen himself in many struggles... (P. 5). But, at the end of the book he is a man
who has experienced the real gore and grit of war and as he walks away from the ... Show more

One of the most popular examples of this literary device is the use of wounds, more specifically
the red badge of courage and what it really represents. In regards to Henry s guilt Tunis narrates,
At times he regarded the wounded soldiers in an envious way. He conceived persons with torn
bodies to be peculiarly happy. He wished that he, too, had a wound, a red badge of courage. (p.
55) I found this quote quite profound and selfish of Henry at first. Henry was not injured, and
was that not a blessing? But taking closer consideration I realized that the fact that he did not
have a wound to show on the outside of his body injured his pride quite a lot. He wanted a wound
to prove that he had fought bravely and courageously for his country and for his men, instead of
running from battle. The red badge of courage symbolizes that a soldier had fought and sacrificed
themselves to protect their country and men most importantly, it proves this to other people. And,
not having a red badge of courage made Henry feel

Ernest Hemingway s Big Two-Hearted River
Throughout Ernest Hemingway s short story Big Two Hearted River, readers follow the journey
of a young man named Nick Adams as he traverses the Michigan countryside. Initially, it appears as
though Nick is simply partaking in a peaceful, solitary fishing trip, but as the story progresses it
becomes apparent that this trip has a hidden purpose behind it. Occasional erratic actions in Nick s
behavior show that he is constantly attempting to suppress a deep internal turmoil. Though
Hemingway never blatantly articulates that Nick is a soldier returning from the war, minute details
such as Nick s short, action driven thoughts convey a sense that he is emotionally and mentally
damaged from war based experiences. Hemingway s subtle indications of... Show more content on

All of his actions are calculated and orderly, much like a soldier s would be, showing that he is
acting rather than feeling or thinking about what he is doing. Anytime a distressing emotion or
thought was close to surfacing, he would quickly dismiss it or find a distraction such as
drinking coffee, Nick drank the coffee, the coffee according to Hopkins. The coffee was bitter.
Nick laughed. It made a good ending to the story. His mind was starting to work. He knew he
could choke it because he was tired enough. He spilled the coffee out of the pot and shook the
grounds loose into the fire. He lit a cigarette and went inside the tent (Hemingway). For the most
part, Nick is able to suppress his mind from working, and as Alex Vernon states, Nick manages
over the course of this very long trip to suppress his memory and imagination almost entirely . . .
Nick has mastered what Hemingway later calls the greatest gift a soldier can acquire, the ability
to suspend your imagination and live completely in the very second of the present minute with no

in length and depth. For instance, as he draws closer to the swamp towards the conclusion of the
story, it states, He felt a reaction against deep wading with the water deepening up under his

diplomatic activity going back at least two millennia. Sovereigns sent envoys to other sovereigns
for various reasons: to prevent wars, to cease hostilities, or merely to continue peaceful relations and
further economic exchanges. The first foreign ministry was created in Paris by Cardinal Richelieu

Comparison Between Critical Thinking And Clinical Reasoning
Critical Thinking vs Clinical Reasoning
Critical thinking and clinical reasoning are two terms that are similar in natural and at times have
been used inter changeably throughout nursing literature. However, while there are similarities that
can be observed when examining these two terms they are also uniquely different and should be
treated as such. While many definitions of critical thinking exist The American Philosophical
Association (APA) has defined critical thinking as purposeful, self regulatory judgment that uses
cognitive tools such as interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation of the
evidential, conceptual, methodological, criteriological, or contextual considerations on which
judgment is based (American Philosophical Association, 1990). Much like critical thinking,
multiple definitions exist for clinical reasoning. While numerous definitions may indeed exist a
clear and precise definition has not yet been found within nursing literature (Simmons, 2010, p.
1151). According to Dr. Simmons, clinical reasoning within nursing is defined as a complex
cognitive process that uses formal and informal thinking strategies to gather and analyze patient
information, evaluate the significance of this information and weigh alternative actions (Simmons,
2010, p. 1155). As mentioned above similarities between critical thinking and clinical reasoning
exist and quite often the term are used interchangeably within nursing literature (Simmons,

demean, or label any group. But the new term for snowman is snowperson. Frosty the Snowman,
the children s tale that familiarized America with the term snowman, was originally created as a
Christmas song. ( Frosty the Snowman was a Tin Pan Alley novelty created by Jack Nelson and
Steve Rollins in 1950. Wikipedia online Encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowman ) .
It was not a story of a snow woman. It was a story of a snowman. The name snowperson suggests
that it is unisex, and to consider Frosty as unisex would numb the creative aspects of our holiday
song and children s stories of Frosty the Snowman. This is an overly sensitive effort to stop a word
that has no offensive connotation and kill its creative and historical meaning.
However, many groups claim that political correctness in society is justified in its efforts to
sanitize offensive material created though years of oppressing minorities. What was originally a
noble idea, to remove blatant words of offensive meaning, has turned into an over the top effort
to rid any words of possible controversy. We are regulating our ways of plain speaking, freedom
of choice, and freedom of speech. Laws of restrictions on slander and public decency should be
decided on the common law methodology and not by the interests of the liberal mob . If plain
speaking is not allowed, clear thinking is

The Stages Of Group And Development Of A Group
For growth and development of a group you must go through the stages of group life, which consist
of the beginning, middle, and end. According to Tuckman, the path that you follow is forming,
storming, norming, and performing.
The beginning of our group began as we started the forming stage, which this is where our group
was formed and we began to get to know each other. In this stage all members were polite,
positive, and a little nervous as we were not fully sure what we would be doing. In this stage we
are trying to find our purpose and goals for the group, Carmen (group leader) is very shy and
trying to establish what task each of us will perform. At this stage we are all excited about
getting started and waiting on direction from our leader. Carmen assigned roles of the group at
this time. Leah as secretary, Stephanie as researcher, Diane as researcher, and myself as
researcher. We began to talk about our purpose for the group, quickly we agreed upon a
population that we saw a need to help. We established a broad range of ideas and had not
narrowed our need down to a specific type. We knew that we wanted to help children that were
currently in foster care. Carmen assigned each of us to start researching a need for foster children
and what areas we could help the most.
Moving on into the middle of our group life stage, Tuckman refers to this as storming. When we
presented our research, we all had basically the same idea which was to help children in foster care

A Critical Analysis Of The Positive Accounting Theory
Preface:
The Normative theory of accounting prescribes the accounting treatment and disclosure
requirements for a particular scenario. Whereas, the positive accounting theory is a method which
tries to explain and predict a particular scenario and the resultant accounting treatments an entity
would adopt but does not prescribe a concrete set of rules or treatment.
Analysis:
The Positive Accounting Theory focuses more on the schematics and operations of various business
relationships and the assistance of accounting in functioning of these. For example the disclosure of
financial statements in the relationship between the management and stake holders.
The Efficient Market Hypothesis developed in the 1960 and it advocated a perfect market ... Show

As a result this is priced into the pay of the managers. Therefore in case of these contracts the
managers bear a part of the agency costs in times when their acts of self interest are anticipated and
cannot be monitored. There may be cases wherein the rewards of the managers may be dependent
upon the profit / numbers reported and hence they may resort to tweaking these for their personal
benefit.
A fine example to explain the above hypothesis would be in case of entities wherein the
managers are rewarded in the form of shares in the company. This on one hand serves as an
incentive and also leads to aligning of the goals of the manager to increasing the value of the
company in the market in future periods as it also results in increase of wealth the manager s
personal wealth.(Healy, 1985)
In a scenario wherein such a theory is in operation the external auditor acts as the representatives of
the stakeholders in upholding the ethical and academic correctness of the accounting framework
adopted by the managers. They need to demand the basis of incentives to the managers and ensure
that in case of the borrowed funds the accounting based controls are in place to protect the interests
of the lenders and

The Symbols of the Allegory of the Cave
The Symbols of The Allegory of the cave
The Allegory of the Cave , is a kind of theory by Plato. In the story, there are three prisoners,
sitting in a cave facing the back wall. They are chained at the neck and cannot turn their heads.
Behind them is a fire. Between the fire and the cave wall there is a ridge in which puppets of
sorts move along and cast shadows on the wall. None of this can be seen by the prisoners. At the
opposite end of the cave, behind them, is the exit which leads up to the outside world. Then, one
of the prisoner gets free. It s painful to leave the cave physically as he hasn t moved in years and
has never seen real light of the sun, but once he gets used to it, he sees the world for what it really
is. Later, he ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It also represents radiant energy. It is a good omen to have the sun shining in your dream
(Dreammoods.com). But to the prisoner the sun represents truth, those who resided in the cave
for so long lived a life of ignorance and watched shadows on the cave wall. These shadows
became their world, the shadows became their image of their world. Those who chose to stay
chose to accept how things are, but the few who chose to see what is causing these shadows on
the wall explored outside of the cave and became temporarily blinded by the light from the sun
(they became enlightened) becoming temporarily blind from the sun represents that enlightenment
because now that you know what is causing these shadows you will never go back into that cave
because now you have discovered a world that is more real. What causes us to see what we see is
light, without light we are blind. Without truth we are nothing.
The prisoners despise the freed prisoner who has been outside the cave who is representing the
philosopher, because he tells them everything they know is a lie and unreal, and also because he
appears to them to be a complete fool. He stagger around in the darkness due to the fact he has
been out in the sunlight and his eyes have not adjusted to the darkness again. And if someone do
that, They would put him to death (Plato). The ability to listen to the freed prisoner and explore the
world outside the cave. But the prisoners

European Imperialism In Congo
At the age of Imperialism taking over or colonizing lands was a habit for strong empires or
nations and example of these colonized nations is Congo which mast of the European countries
had their eyes on it. Imperialism is a policy of extending a country s power and influence through
colonization, use of military force (Dicionary). It started in the 1870s when many of the European
countries started to colonize lands far from Europemainly in Africa. There were very strong Empires
or imperial governments at this period of time like the British, German, and the Belgium
governments. Every Empire had its reasons and hustifications for colonizing and taking over any

Short Term Volunteer Trips ( 1-3 Days ) Essay
There are numerous aspects of voluntourism that are positive in nature. For example, short term
volunteer trips (1 3 weeks) can be quite beneficial in the case of dealing with the aftermath of a
natural disaster. In the case of a serious catastrophe like that, it can take years to rebuild the
community that it occurred in. With a continuous stream of fresh volunteerrecruits, the momentum
will remain at a constant pace. A short term time frame for this type of scenario will result in more
efficient progress being made. On another topic, volunteers have been proven, through extensive
research on the subject, to be able to provide locals with some things that very few other aid
workers can. The volunteers can be an effective link between the locals of the community and the
humanitarian organizations. As an example, they can help locals fill out the forms required to
apply for funding for certain projects. Volunteers can also help the locals understand ways in which
they can effectively communicate with their government, and potentially receive more aid from
them. Voluntourism agencies often emphasize the emotional connections that tourists can make
with the locals, but rarely speak about this kind of connection that I have just mentioned. In other
words, tourists can be a great resource for the locals, and that is a very positive aspect of the
voluntourism industry. Another positive aspect is that the experiences that a voluntourist goes
through while taking part in a

The Importance Of Cellular And Cellular Signals Regulating...
After thickening of chamber walls during cardiac embryogenesis, oxygen and nutrients can no
longer be passively diffused into cardiac cells, therefore, a primitive vascular develops to supply
these vital resources. The plexus then further matures into coronary arteries and veins which
ensures continued development of the heart. However, the vasculogenesis of these coronary blood
vessels is not fully understood and has been a topic of intense research and debate. Over time,
various models have been proposed, indicating the importance of cellular and molecular signals
regulating vascularization of the embryonic heart. Interestingly, research has highlighted the
contribution of extra cardiac cells which migrates and differentiates in the heart.
Keywords: Vasculogenesis, angiogenesis, embryogenesis, VEGF, anatomical variations.
Introduction Much of what is known about the origin of cells that make up the coronary vascular
network comes from immuno histochemical analyses, quail chick chimera experiments, retroviral
labelling, gene targeting experiments and, more recently, lineage tracing studies. Interestingly, not a
single cell that makes up the coronary system of the heart arises from the heart. All of this happens
without ever tapping into the blood that courses through the primitive heart tube (Mu et al., 2005;
David et al., 2002). Within the past two decades much progress has been made into elucidating the
molecular principles initiating and regulating coronary vessel

Application Of Using Multiple Software Tools
3.1 Introduction
The first section of this chapter summarizes the detailed analysis which was carried out by using
multiple software tools in order to conduct microwave heating simulations of interest. The
objective is to document the important technical information regarding the procedures for later re
enactment. After various comparisons, CST Studio Suite was selected as the preferred software
and every simulation hereafter was done using CST. To authenticate the simulation procedure,
validation of a paper published in the Food and Bioprocess Technology Journal in 2011 was
conducted. It is a common practice for researchers to replicate a published work to duplicate the

3.2.1 Workflow Procedure
During or after the installation of HFSS, it needs to be made sure that the integration operation
with a similar model of ANSYS has been enabled. Once HFSS is successfully integrated with
ANSYS, the electromagnetic response of the model is computed by HFSS. The following two
types of losses are extracted from HFSS simulation outputs:
(i)Surface loss density (W/m2), resulting from metallic losses.
(ii)Volume loss density (W/m3), resulting from the dielectric losses.
These electrical results including losses are imported to ANSYS, ANSYS maps the surface and
volume losses from HFSS and conducts mechanical simulations to acquire thermal responses. The
thermal response will be a function of the input power level of the microwave signal and also the
frequency.
The process is then reversed by importing the thermal results from ANSYS back to HFSS. EM
simulations are carried out in HFSS to recalculate the losses and the process is repeated many
times until a converged criterion is satisfied. The decision chart shown in Figure 3.1 explains the
process [1].

Anna Garcia Case Study
Introduction: One summer morning, a 38 year old woman named Anna Garcia was found dead.
Anna was found lying facedown in the entry hallway of her home in a pool of blood. Many
different pieces of evidence found at the crime scene have been analyzed to determine the manner
of Anna s death: natural, accident, or homicide. The analyzed evidence found at the crime scene
includes fingerprints, blood type, shoeprint, hair, unknown substances, blood spatters, and DNA.
Anna Garcia s autopsy report currently contains information on Anna s toxicology results, external
examination results, and physical examination results. The evidence that has been analyzed mainly

When evidence was analyzed to see if it belonged to any of the persons of interest, most of the
evidence belonged to Anna Garcia, excluding the fingerprints found which belonged to Alex
Garcia. When examined, Anna s body showed evidence of oxygen deprivation, as well as
elements of discomfort such as vomit, edema of ankles, inflamed and red injection sites on her
left thigh, a head wound from falling against a solid object, a right elbow bruise, and blue and
gray nails. Even though Anna hit her head, it was obviously not the sole reason of her death. She
was experiencing symptoms that were not tied to head trauma, which makes the idea of her dying
of a natural death unlikely. When evidence was analyzed to see if it belonged to any of the persons
of interest, most of the evidence belonged to Anna Garcia, excluding the fingerprints found which
belonged to Alex Garcia. There was not enough evidence found at the crime scene to tie Alex
Garcia to the death, and Anna s symptoms and injuries do not add up in terms of the idea of her
death being a homicide. Anna s signs of sickness and oxygen deprivation point to a natural death.
Lucy Leffingwell, Anna s best friend, mentioned that Anna had recently been in the hospital. A
relapse is definitely not out of question. Until Anna s autopsy report with the results of her internal
examination and Anna s medical history records are shown, her manner of death cannot be
definitively determined. However, Anna Garcia s manner of death being natural makes the most
sense based on the information currently

Meno Hidden Virtue Analysis
Hidden Virtues
As we already know from reading other works by Plato, Virtue is not a cut and clean object with a
distinct definition that is more correct than another definition. When Socrates asks, what is virtue? ,
Meno comes up with three definitions. However, none of his replies are true answers, but rather
define parts of what helps to create virtue. Meno s replies are scattered and he is unable to give the
reader a true definition of what virtue is. Meno fails to give a common factor in all definitions of
virtue, but rather gives the reader many different outlooks with nothing connecting each example.
In this paper, I will discuss the exchanges between Meno and Socrates and the attempts made by
Meno to describe virtue as well as Socrates arguments against them.
As stated above, Meno comes up with three attempts at defining virtue. While reading it can be
assumed that virtue is not easily defined. A key element in creating a sound definition is knowing
the nature of an object. If the nature of said object is unknown, there cannot be judgement of any
quality of the object itself. Meno first attempts to describe virtue by giving examples of ... Show

Based solely upon what is stated in the dialogue between Meno and Socrates, we see Meno
repeatedly try to define virtue unsuccessfully. He claims to know what virtue is but fails to define
it correctly. Socrates uses counterexample after counterexample to break down Meno s arguments
and proves that Meno lacks the knowledge of a true definition. I believe that Socrates does not do
this to dishearten Meno, but rather to have him reevaluate his knowledge of virtue. After analyzing
the story as a whole, I believe that even if virtue is known innately, there is no way to give a single
definition that allows us to truly teach the concept of

The British Army At The Age Of 17 Essay
There was a young guy who joined the British Army at the age of 17 in order to do something
with his life that he believed to be of significance. He wanted to serve Queen and country. He
wanted to experience war. He wanted to fight. He wanted to win. He wanted to be validated as
important and special by others.
After 8 years of voluntary military service, he handed his notice and ended his contract for what
he believed would be a normal life out side of the HM Forces. He wanted a normal life, he wanted
some normal and consistent relationships, and he wanted a normal job and a girlfriend he could see
whenever he wanted.
He wanted to feel valued somewhere, and he wanted to feel important. He wanted to know that he
d be missed somewhere when he wasn t around. He wanted to be his own person and free from
small minded military regimentals, free from the restrictions of rules and conformity to legalism, he
wanted out, he wanted freedom.
He wanted to make progress in life. He wanted to connect with new people and develop new
relationships. He wanted to know love and he wanted to know freedom. He wanted some
certainty and needed to become both confident and secure in who he was. He needed to pay the
bills, he needed some direction and purpose, he needed to make sense of his life, he needed peace
from his demons and the memories of his past.

Over the years, casino and gaming has made major developments in the hospitality industry. With
this growing trend we ve seen full service hotels, retail, and entertainment offerings involving more

Casino Gaming in Atlantic City. In 1978, New Jersey legalized gambling, and Atlantic City has
become America s second largest gambling city. With all the buzz in this big gambling town there
are positive and negative effects to the community.

But it has some draw backs as well. Although numerous amenities are available to guests who are
staying in the hotels, many don t venture out like most tourists. As article by The Atlantic reads,
Casinos don t encourage non gaming businesses to open nearby, because the people who most
often visit casinos do not wander out to visit other shops and businesses. A casino is not like a
movie theater or a sports stadium, offering a time limited amusement. It is designed to be an all
absorbing environment that does not release its customers until they have exhausted their money.
And even though revenue in the city is booming, the rest of New Jersey doesn t benefit much at
all. Professionals claim that no one should look to the gambling industry to revive cities, because
that s not what casinos are meant to do. Which is interesting because this is the reason why
gambling was legalized in Atlantic City the first place, because of its dwindling economy.
When neighboring states started to allow gambling in 2006, Atlantic City became less of a hot spot
and within the past two years has shut down four casinos in the community. On top of that,
residents complain about traffic, crime, and noise and air pollution, blaming the city life that
casinos bring in. Running a business of this type is risky when the competition is high. And these
days regional gaming is all about convenience and appeal, which Atlantic

Essay On Apollo Space Program
The Apollo space program was arguably one of the most important missions in the entire history of
mankind. This program represented the hopes of one nation and the fears of another. The middle of
the 20th century the United States and the Soviet Union were locked in a battle to see who could
get to the moonfirst known as the space race. This race was intensified by the cold warthat was
going on between the two countries at the time as well. The Apollo program first began in 1961
because of the Soviet Union and very quickly became the backbone for the space program (CSN
website). President Kennedy wanted the program to land a man on the moon by the end of the
decade, as he wanted America to beat the Russians to it. This however, was an extreme... Show

This program represented the most remarkable scientific feat of the entire 20th century, and perhaps
of the entire human existence on earth.
For the astronauts to land on the moon new vehicles would have to be implemented for the them to

capsule that had room for up to three men. The men would ride in the Command module to the
moon and back. The vehicle that was used for landing on the moon was the lunar module, which
carried the astronauts from the orbit around the moon to the surface of the moon and back to the
Command Module (NASA website). In the Apollo program, there were two types of rockets that
were developed to get to the moon from earth. The first flights of the Apollo Program utilized a
smaller vehicle known as the Saturn 1 B rocket (Nasa website). This rocket was 22 stories tall and
had two stages. The first stage would run out of fuel and then disconnect from the other part of the
vehicle and then fall back into earth s atmosphere and burn up. The other part of the rocket would
then continue to fly positioning itself in the earth s orbit. This was to

Hollywood Movies In The 1960s
In the late 1960s, the New Hollywood era approached a new style of filming geared towards
different generations of people. Leading up to new Hollywood, the 1960s brought devastation to
the film industry. With the massive production of televisions along with the migration of millions
to suburbs away from the cities, movie theaters lost their popularity very quickly. Fewer films
were being made, thus hurting Hollywood in every way possible. However, as the late 1960s

In doing so, the industry was able to make similar, cheap movies that attracted more and more
teenagers. Movies like monster movies and outlaw movies made the most money which helped
Hollywood get back on their feet. Outlaw movies like Bonnie and Clyde and Easy Rider became
popular because they both have similar plot lines that are based on going against the system and
fighting the man . We can see a similarity with these two movies as they both break the law and
run away to become free. For example, Clyde gets Bonnie and others hooked on robbing banks
to fight the Great Depression they are currently in. They break the law, fall in love, have gun
battles with the cops, and generally have a fun time with it. Teenagers are always interested in
this type of action and getting back at the system. In Easy Rider, Captain America and Billy
make a huge drug deal and run off with their money, smoke marijuana all day long, have sex, and
do other substances along their journey. This outlaw ish behavior was what teenagers and young
adults were doing at this time. In the late 1960s, marijuana and other substances became largely
popular, rock and roll was popular, all of the things Captain America and Billy do could be very
similar to what was actually going on in America at the time; therefore the audience can relate to
the characters. Although different movies entirely, both Bonnie and Clyde and Easy Rider

Summary Of A Red Rose By Robert Burns
Robert Burns A Red Red Rose On the romanticism era Robert Burns wrote the poem named A Red
Red Rose. In this poem Burns writes about his love for a girl and how strong and deep it is for her,
as he says I will love thee still my dear, till a the seas gang dry. Robert Burns was born on January
25th, 1759 in Alloway Scotland. Parents William Burns and Agnes Broun, his parents were farmers,
though they lived in that life of farming they wanted their son Robert Burnsto have and receive a
good education and when he started getting the education they wanted him to have, burns also
started to read more and started to have a huge place in his heart for poetry. Burns father died in
1784 in bankruptcy and then bruns and his brother Gilbert took over the farm, but that didn t
stop him from reading and getting influenced by different famous people. He was influenced by
different poets like Alexander Pope, Henry Mackenzie, and Laurence Sterne; His hard physical
labour on the family is what increasingly turned his attention toward the passion of poetry. Robert
Burns turned his full attention to poetry after what happened with his family and at age of
fifteen he fell in love and wrote his first poem, burns pursued both love and poetry. In 1785 he
fathered the first of his fourteen children and between 1784 and 1785 burns collected in his first
collection which was Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect and was printed in 1786 and was also paid
for by subscriptions. That poem was immediately one of the best and robert was celebrated
throughout England and Scotland as a great peasant poet. He wrote many more poems and later
in 1788 he got married to Jean Armour and fathered twins, but a split in their marriage nearly led
to burns moving to the west indies with his other lover Mary Campbell, later with Mary s sudden
death and his sensational success of his first published collection that kept him in scotland, burns
became very known and famous across the country of scotland at just 27 years old. Burns would
not only make poems but would also sometimes turn them into songs and give them for someone to
perform. In just 18 months Burns spent all his wealth from what he got from when he published his

Beach Decor Research Paper
Do you want to feel like you are closer to the beach? Often after a vacation from the beach, all we
want to do is go back. The feeling is so strong that we want to create that same feeling inside of
our homes. By creating that feeling of peace, it will make us feel as if we have been spending the
whole day at the beach once again. The beach offers so many different details that allow us to
create a home beach decor to our liking.
One of the best places to begin with beach decor is a patio or enclosed sun room. Since these rooms
are already outside, you can dream of being close to the beach (if you aren t already). When
thinking of the beach, think of the colors that calm you. Colors that you can use in your beach
home decor can include sky ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sea life such as dolphins, seagulls and crabs are among the first animals that usually come to
mind. The walls in a room can be decorated with photos of dolphins or birds flying across the sky.
For a comedic approach, there can always be little crab statues or other accessories that can sit on
a shelf or table. Even photographs of marine animals can be a beautiful addition to any room.
Another beautiful aspect to add for beach decor are ocean sunsets. Sunsets usually offer an array
of beautiful colors that paint across the sky and reflect off the water. A sunset can create a serene
feeling that makes one feel at peace.
To tickle one s senses, candles that have smells that are similar to the ocean or beach could make
beach home decor come alive too. Find candles that have hues of blues, greens and tans. The
scents can make one feel as if they are truly at the beach. Candles often give off a relaxing vibe for
a peaceful setting.
If you want your home to feel like your favorite beach retreat, you can use some of these ideas for
inspiration. Home should always be a place to relax at. By adding beach home decor, a room can
feel like a mini vacation to get away from the stress that may enter our lives every now and

some beautiful places here in Nebraska. We have beautiful lakes, hiking trails, the Iowa Nebraska
bridge downtown, and we actually get all four seasons here. But, I feel like nothing will ever
compare to California. First of all, in California, you could hike, surf, ski, and ride dune buggies
all in the same day! There are so many trails and canyons to hike, so many beaches to sun bathe,
and so much more variety when it comes to restaurants. I love that here in Nebraska we have
plenty of amazing steaks, but I just miss the abundance of seafood in California, which we lack
here. I may sound biased, but I ve given Nebraska a try for almost two ... Show more content on

You ll thread through Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. Don t get me wrong, there s some really
pretty scenic drive here in Nebraska too, but I just love the ocean view way more. When you re in
California, make sure to stop and check out some historical sights such as the Grand Hearst Castle.
I haven t even gotten started on the San Francisco Bay Area. You have the South Bay, East Bay,
Peninsula, North Bay, and San Francisco, each of which having something interesting to offer. In
the South Bay, there s San Jose and Santa Clara County, which many often describe as the heart of
Silicon Valley. It s the tech, innovation capital of the country, and offers companies such as
Google, Facebook, eBay, Apple, Intel, and the Nasa Ames Research Center. Silicon Valley
stretches slightly into the Peninsula. The Peninsula has some impressive scenery especially along
the coast you have those mysterious beaches on Half Moon Bay and Moss Beach, and these awe
inspiring mountains in La Honda, Woodside, and Pescadero. On the tip of Peninsula, you can find
San Francisco! San Francisco is home to the best restaurants, smartest, and the sharpest people. The
Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman s Wharf, the Transamerica Pyramid, sports, those charming
Victorian houses and apartments, cable cars, tech start ups, culture, and nightlife. It s no wonder
some people name it the best city in America. On the East Bay, you have the exotic, somewhat
dangerous but sharp and pretty cities of Oakland, Fremont, and Berkeley. The North Bay sports

Essay On Zero Emissions
Zero Emissions Global warming is a significant issue and the CO2 levels are up in astronomical
proportions; therefore, it does not matter what caused it at this point (Volti, 2014). Scientists can
argue weather man has had a significant influence on the temperature rise all they want; however, it
is a well understood fact that humankind has contributed to the now high levels of CO2 in the air
and humankind cannot continue to pollute the air in such high volume without regard for future
generations. Considering the incredible leap in technology the combustion engine was and the host
of benefits mankind enjoys from it is here to stay, the next leap in technology should revolutionize it

With over 100 thousand trucks and other vehicles in service around the globe, it has more emission
output than many average sized cities (UPS, 2017). A complete reduction in emissions would be
equivalent to an entire city that stopped using combustion engines. The positive social impact
would make UPS the benchmark of social economic environmental consciousness that every
transportation provider would attempt to emulate. Furthermore, the entire planet would benefit
from such an ecofriendly competition, which will lead to many other health benefits and provide
lasting sustainability of our dwindling fossil fuel resources.
Remarkably, UPS has made considerable strides to improve the fuel efficiency of its trucks with
proprietary algorithms such as its package flow technology, which minimize the distance traveled to
deliver goods continues (Watson, 2017). Utilizing innovation theory to consider its environmental
sustainability, UPS also contributes to improving its bottom line. According to Ribeiro and Szabo
Cherobim (2017) There is no doubt that the environment affects dynamic and strategy of
organizations and understanding the external environment is a fundamental condition for the
organizational survival (p. 31). As UPS replaces existing trucks with fuel efficient models, it not
only caters to its ecofriendly reputation, it saves substantial revenue in fuel costs; therefore, it is

The Day Of Last Night
I inspected the autopsy notes carefully. Every single detail was vital to finding the murderer of
the wealthy Sir Simon Senior. Last night at the Whopping Hill Manor, Sir Simon was murdered
by one of his guest or staff at his famous annual business party. On the day of last night, every
year, Sir Simon summoned twelve lucky starting businesses, fed them an extravagant meal, and
listened to their business pitches about each of their products and chose one which he would
fund. The lucky winner walked away with nearly bottomless funds to build the business of their
dreams. It was a highly sophisticated event, but with last night s events in mind, it would
probably never happen again. I flipped to a page with very graphic pictures of where he was
found and the part of his skull that was bashed in with a small, heavy, round object. I shook my
head as I remembered questioning a frightened, scared witness recounting the gruesome scene.

The Active Audience On Pop Culture
The Active Audience
In modern communication, there are various types of culture. The most widely known of these
types is pop culture. Pop Culture in short, is every meme, perspective, image and phenomena that
are within the mainstream of a culture which has created an active audience. This active audience
has a role in pop culture as to how it creates and defines music, movies and race in popular culture.
In a culture, there will always be an active audience in the music industry. In the article Mix it up
, it shows us how the original song from the past is then is then somewhat recreated by the active
audience as an homage. An example is the song Tainted Love and Where Did Our Love . To
clarify both of these songs combined to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this case, it s Elvis Presley and Big Mama Thornton where Big Mama Thornton originally
recorded Hound Dog to which Elvis Presley s overshadow s Big Mama Thornton original
version. For this reason it depends on which audience the artist wants to attract because Elvis
Presley attracted young teenagers during the 50 s and 60 s and this was during the post World War
II baby boom from 1946 1964. To conclude the lively audience is both the consumer and producers
when it comes to the music industry
Movies were a relatively a recent addition to popular culture only beginning at about a hundred
years ago. The reason why it s part of pop culture is the fact that it s an active audience. For
example in Steven J. Ross article, he wrote that by 1910 26 million people, nearly 30% of the
American population when to go watch movies per week and by 1920 it became half of the
population. This shows that their action made the film industry a staple in pop culture from it early
beginnings. Additionally, the active audience can control if the film be part of the mainstreamor
not. For instance in order for a film to be mainstream a large group of followers must come with
this. An example would be the Star Wars franchise more specifically the title for the new movie. In
the article The Force Awakens? Star Wars fans wish it was literally anything else . The audience
discusses have mix feelings about the title fitting simplicity and making fun of it giving different

Compare And Contrast Determinism And Free Will
Determinism and free will are regarded as two opposite sides, because most people think that they
are incompatible with each other. But actually they are not. Determinism draws a picture of
causality in the frame of laws of nature. That is to say, every event has a cause. From deterministic
point of view, free willis uncaused, so it rejects free will completely. On the other hand, opponents
of free will reject determinism. However, there is a third option, a softer way to solve free will
problem, namely, compatibilism. I believe compatibilism is a better way because it offers a
solution which should be taken into acount. To understand what compatibilism is, first, I need to
explain what determinism and free will are briefly. Free will is the ability to make choice by
taking moral responsibility. Causal determinism is that every event has cause and effect in the light
of laws of nature. According to incompatibilism, these two term are opposite of each other.
However, compatibilism doesn t regard free will and determinism as opposite sides. According to
compatibilism, both determinism and free will are consistent with each other. Because free will...

That is, all that existince is material world. So, material causes for every event and every event
follows necessarily from it causes. As materialism takes a side in determinism, dualism support
existence of free will, because dualism assumes that mind is independent from laws of nature.
Some libertarians claim that we have souls which are nonphysical and independent from laws of
nature, which have similar aspects with dualism. To illustrate, Descartes well known sentence
Cogito ergo sum is based on thinking which accepts mind as separate from body. In other words,
mind doesn t belong the world of laws of nature. The contrast between determinism and free will is
supported by other beliefs such as dualism and materialism, as

Critical Analysis Of Nelson Mandel Long Walk To Freedom
Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom
Nelson Mandela, a leader within the South African society but furthermore throughout the whole
world, has spent his whole life pursuing fairness and freedom for all. The composed philosophical
quote presented within this assignment being, Our single most important challenge is to establish
a social order in which the freedom of the individual will truly mean the freedom of the individual.
appears to show a very calm and collected thought process. This quotation has an extreme
importance in the pursuit of true freedom, demanding not only rights, but true freedom to where
the people can experience life in an equal social order. Mandela s calmness throughout the people s
and his struggle for freedom in South Africa attributed towards the success eventually reached by
Mandela, by not only giving the depiction of a calm knowledgeable leader, but also giving the
opportunity to truly reflect on political unrest and make a decision that will in the end benefit
everyone within the situation, weather they are classified as black or white. Mandela always had
the ability to maintain a philosophical and calm mind set throughout the film. This gave him the
ability, even when alone in certain situations on certain topics, to push himself towards his true
goal, achieving true freedom for the colored people of South Africa. This idea can be portrayed
through a specific scene in the movie, in this particular scene Mandela and his colleagues are

The Holy Bible And Holy Torah
Throughout this Report, the writer used both Primary and Secondary research in order to validate
the stated hypothesis. This included one interview with a devout Catholic from the Islands of Fiji
(Mar, Interviewee,13/07/15). Moreover, comprehensive secondary research was gathered from a
variety of books and relevant websites. In particular, the holy Bible and the holy Torahwere very
useful, as this main aspects of information gathering denoted a very different and diverse approach
to the Initiation ritual. The writer will investigate how he has used the information to formulate, his
own ideas and concepts for the particular initiation ritual.
Reasoning:
Initiation the action of admitting someone into a secret or obscure society or group, typically with
a ritual. The Initiation ritual between the two major Religions, depicts that the laity have to start
their journey with God, somewhere. (Mar, Interviewee,13/07/15) With both these diverse and
spiritual Religions having an Initiation ritual, there will be certain aspects that fill one s transition,
from the normal world to the new Religious life, that are filled with multivocal symbols and
ceremony. The two major Religions, that require an Initiation ritual, that the writer has focused on
is Judaism and Catholicism. The Baptism and Bar Mitzvah are the two initiation rituals.
Baptism:
Baptism is a Christian sacrament of admission and adoption, almost invariably with the use of
water, into the Christian Church generally

Ethical Issues In Dementia
Introduction Symptom management of Dementia at end of life is often sub optimal, although
symptom burdens may be similar to cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or
advanced heart failure. Dementia may exist with several co morbid conditions, and death may
occur from various causes (Jones et al., 2015). Ethical issues arise in the work place a lot and
they are something that can be hard to navigate your way around. Knowing what the right thing to
do can be a hard decision to make as a nurse. There are many aspects that go into making an ethical
decision when it comes to your patients well being. Ethical issues are not black and white, they are
complex, and the right decision might not be the easiest one to make. Dementia is... Show more

They lose parts of themselves I cannot even imagine how hard it would be to cope. I have
watched patients suffer for years with terrible symptoms and there is nothing I can do for them.
I often wonder why we treat a disease such as dementia the way that we do. If someone with
cancer was told that the physician could not cure them of their disease and would eventually die
from this disease, that patient would be put on palliative care and would not be on life sustaining
medications or treatments. The difference between dementia and cancer is that dementia has a
much slower progression and death can vary in time. Everyone diagnosed with dementia will
eventually die from this disease. When doing my research it showed me that there is very little
research done on this topic. This disease takes almost everything from patients and they are forced
to suffer through the symptoms while taking medications to make sure their hypertension is being
controlled. I am an advocate for letting people with dementia be able to make decisions for
themselves, even if I do not think that they are of sound mind. I they refuse to take medication that
I know is going to make help them manage no life threatening conditions, I will not force them to
take the medication because of their incompetent state. When the disease process has progressed
people with dementia should not be forced to suffer through length health problems, they should be
put into palliative care and be made as comfortable as

Why Cats Lose Their Antlers
One day a little kid asked me why do bucks lose their antlers? So I decided to tell him a story. On
a cold day during February, Artemis was out in the woods walking with the deer. She was the
goddess of animals, and she would help them out night and day. Every hunting season she would
hide them until it was safe to go out, and she helped the deermore because they were a sacred
animal to her.
But one day every year everyone in the village nearby would go out and hunt the bucks because
they had more meat on them. They did this because they needed a lot of food for the festival for
when they made their town. Every year Artemis did her best to hid the deer but the hunters always
find the majority of them, and there are Consequences that come

The Historical And Contemporary Importance Of Francis Of...
The most popular saint in history, Francis of Assisi s life is shrouded in as much legend as it is
fact. However, the influence of Francis or the monastic order he founded cannot be disputed. Born
into great wealth and influence during the Middle Ages, Francis turned down such comforts
instead taking up a life of poverty and ministry. In less than two decades of ministry, Francis was
able to leave a legacy that continues to influence the Church today. The following will show the
historical and contemporary importance of Francis of Assisiby examining his unique life, his
founding of the FranciscanOrder and his ongoing influence in the life of the Church. Saint Francis
of Assisiwas born Giovanni Bernardone around 1182 in Assisi, Italy to Peter (Pietro)
Bernardone, a wealthy Italian cloth merchant, and his wife Pica. When Francis was born Peter
was away in France on business and his mother baptized him as Giovanni. Upon his return, Peter
gave Giovanni the name Francesco (Francis). Francis received some limited formal education,
but this was supplemented with practical education received while accompanying his father on
his many business journeys. Francis lived the typical life of a wealthy young man and aspired to
be a knight. He was quite the character and always desired to rise about the common place. A
major turning point began in his life when in 1202, he joined a military expedition against Perugia.
The forces from Assisi were defeated during which he was

Mlk Jr.’S “Letter from a Birmingham Jail”

American people, Martin Luther King, Jr. s Letter from a Birmingham Jail turned into an iconic
piece of American history. King s tremendous work as a civil rights activist through non violent
protest changed our day to day life, and his words captured the entire American population. King
was persuasive due to his genuine nature and passion for his work, which is easily communicated

King does an outstanding job in communicating the urgency of the situation without sounding
personally impatient in his letter. His ability to create a sound argument without emotion makes
his Letter from a Birmingham Jail all the more provocative. However, that being said, King also
does a great job of establishing pathos. Introducing his letter, King states that he is responding to
claims made about his actions, showing that his letter has a direct action causing this response. He
continually refers to himself as a religious man with a strong reputation in the church. King also
shares an anecdote about his daughter, in which she questions why she cannot go to Funtown.
Anyone reading this letter is immediately aware of the tension negroes face in their day to day
life. A parent can t imagine their child asking them this question, and those without children cannot
imagine themselves asking it. King apologizes for the length of his letter, but also states that there
s not much else he can do from a jail cell. King s letter portrays him as a hard working man for
justice in America, as well as a family man fighting for his individual rights. This extraordinary man
appeals to all Americans, asking them to join him in the fight against injustice. This discourse King
composed shows his excellent understanding of rhetoric fundamentals, as defined by

  • 2. Welfare Definition Of Economics By Alfred Marshall WELFARE DEFINITION OF ECONOMICS About the Author: Alfred Marshall (26th July 1842 13th July 1924) The Welfare Definition of the subject of economics was put forward by the pioneer neoclassical economist from England, Dr. Alfred Marshall, in his book Principles of Economics published in 1890. Marshall, who was born in the London suburb of Clapham, was educated at Merchant s Taylor School. He showed tremendous mathematical aptitude and participated in Cambridge University s most revered degree competition Mathematical Tripos, where he secured the second rank, bettered only by Lord Rayleigh. This secured a position of fellow in St. John s University, Cambridge and along with mathematics, he got himself involved rigorously in the study of philosophical foundations and moral basis of human behaviour and social organisation. He became a lecturer of Moral Sciences at St. John s in 1868, with a specialisation in Political Economy , as Economics was then called. He henceforth worked tirelessly in transforming the subject into a more logical and scientific one. Marshall met Mary Paley, a student in the informal lectures for women by the Cambridge University and taught her Political Economy. In 1877, they decided to get married and this forced Marshall to leave his position in Cambridge due to the celibacy rule in place. He joined as the first Principal at University College, Bristol; which later came ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Extract Proteins From The Muscle Tissue Of Various Fish... Abstract: The purpose of this experiment was extract proteins from the muscle tissue of various fish species and execute an SDS PAGE to determine similarities in their respective protein profiles. The seven species examined in this investigation were the Yellow Tuna (Thunnus albacares), Thresher Shark (Alopias vulpinus), Paiche (Arapaima gigas), Swordfish (Xiphias gladius), Catfish (Ameiurus catus), Coho Salmon(Oncorhynchuskisutch), and Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). A sample of muscle tissue from each of the seven fishspecies was placed in a microtube containing Laemmli Sample Buffer, in order to disrupt and denature the tissue. The microtube was incubated at room temperature for five minutes, and then was placed in a 95В°C hot... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They are directly controlled by DNA specific sequencing and coding. Since proteins are influenced by DNA, their profiles, also known as proteomes, are indicative of evolutionary and genetic relatedness. These proteomes vary from cell to cell, as the function of each group of cells is different. Proteomics refers to the study of protein structure, function, and interaction within a certain environment in an organism. The purpose of this experiment is to perform a procedure known as SDS PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) in order to determine protein profiles for seven fish species: Yellow Tuna (Thunnus albacares), Thresher Shark (Alopias vulpinus), Paiche (Arapaima gigas), Swordfish (Xiphias gladius), Catfish (Ameiurus catus), Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch), and Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). The gel electrophoresis separates the fish muscle proteins according to their molecular weights, which allows one to determine a profile for each specie. The goal of this experiment is to extract proteins from fish muscle tissue, unfold and denature them, load them for gel electrophoresis, and determine the success in our efforts to classify and compare fish muscle protein profiles. These protein profiles will help establish the shared characteristics and evolutionary relationships between any two given fish species. Materials and Methods: In order to investigate ... • 4. Capital Market And Accounting Information Capital Market and Accounting Information Submitted to: Mr. Syed Abdulla Al Mamun, Ph.D. Assistant Professor North South University Introduction Today we take the capital market very much for granted. The creation of an economy in which the limited liability companies could easily be formed and their shares sold and transferred between investors dates from the industrial revolution of Great Britain. The concept of shares being transferable was a brilliant idea. It enables investors to invest in a business for just as long as they wish. When they wish to end their interest, they are able to sell their shares without harming the company whatsoever. An open and free market allows them to sell shares easily. From the company s point of view, it has a long term capital in the form of shares for as long as it wishes. Also, it is an easy mechanism through which the company can raise new capital. The relationship between published financial or accounting information and capital market is a complex one. The capital market is affected by analyst s forecasts and expectations putting pressure on companies to adjust their reported earning numbers. Share prices are affected by the way corporate profits and balance sheet data ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Looking in the sea of the south and west tropical coast of Austria a diver observing very closely in the sea can easily miss this genital, well camouflaged marine fish in plain sight, the sea dragon. Although they are very similar to the seahorse, sea dragons are quite different in amazing ways and are divided into two diverse genus and species, Phycodurus eques (Leafy Sea Dragons) and Phyllopteryx taeniolatus (Weedy Sea Dragons). Here you will learn about the taxonomic classification (Kingdom, Phylums/Division, Class, Order, Family Genus, Species), physical characteristics/ biology, habitat, ecology, and much more. On the other hand there are differences and both sea dragons take on the appearance of seaweed and kelp to blend in with their habitat. Spaking of size, a adult leafy seadragon can reach a lighth of 20 24cm(8 10 inches) in some cases up to 35cm(1.1ft) in total length ; this is impressive size for a marine fish in the syngnathidae family, but is smaller than its close cousin, the weedy dragon ,which averages 30cm and can reach up to 45cm (1.5ft)( PRIMEFACT). Although their appendages are not used for locomotion, using small, transparent pectoral fins, which are located on the neck, and a dorsal fin that run along the seadragon s back are used to make tiny movements through the water columnv(Yankalilla). • 7. Chiricahua Fort Sill Apaches. . Chiricahua Fort Sill Apaches The Chiricahua band of the larger Apache tribe was fractured through attempted assimilation by the United States government. The attempted assimilation of a regionally nomadic people whose entire society spiritually and culturally is based upon ties to nature leads to an eventual violent reaction by a portion of the tribe, through propagation of fear and political pressure the entire band is taken into custody with prisoner of war status. Eventually this status will define and even give way to the only federally created tribe, a unique distinction created through a federal over reach of power that can be considered genocidal in nature. This tribe is known as the Fort Sill Apaches. In order to understand the Chiricahua band of the Apaches the land from which they come must be understood. There is not much in the way of ancient history concerning this people, what is known is that the Apaches are made up of four separate bands of people of which one is Chiricahua and the Chiricahua has six matrilineal bands of its own, according to Geronimo. Be don ko he(Geronimo s band), the Chi hen ne(Ojo Caliente), Hot Springs, White Mountain, Cho kon en, and Ned ni Apaches these bands ranged in present day Arizona, New Mexico, and the northern border region of Mexico . • 8. Tupac Amaru Shakur s Change Essay The cry of injustice has become louder and louder and those people who are knowledgeable about their ancestral history, feel hopelessness in the midst of this unfortunate rebirth of the New Jim Crow. Their hopelessness is further fed and satisfied by the powers that be who arrange for African Americans to be unable to escape the extreme cycle of poverty forcing them to adapt the best way they can to their current situation; whether that be murdering someone like yourself or selling narcotics. Tupac Amaru Shakur, wrote the famous song Changes in 1992 but it was released after he was murdered, in October 1998. Tupac exposes the reality of commonly ignored societal ills such as racism, classism, and discrimination and establishes that unity is the only way out. Through the use of juxtaposition, allusion and call to action, Tupac illustrates his thoughts on racial desperation and its correlation to overarching racism during the period of social unrest in the United States and the importance of establishing a united front to fight back. Although written more than twenty four years ago, currently we are facing a heightened cultural climate in the United States and the relevancy of Tupac s song Changes is more than necessary. Tupac has become a spokesperson of not only his generation, but current American society. Tupac Amaru Shakur was born on June 16, 1971 in East Harlem, New York, in the United States. There are so many supply firms and there are so many parts that are required to produce an automobile, requiring numerous suppliers, one would think that the automakers would be at the supplier s mercy. However, the suppliers really have very little power. The suppliers tend to rely on one or two automakers to purchase the majority of their products. If the automaker decides to change suppliers, the effects to the supplier would be devastating. With the JIT (Just in Time) manufacturing methodology Honda utilizes, there is a push pull mechanism. Marketing of the companies themselves, all indicate they are comparable. The degree of rivalry continues to increase as new technology develops, environmental concerns rise, and the economy challenges the market. The automotive industry is considered to be an oligopoly, which helps to minimize the effects of price based competition. The competition between the companies continues to intensify due to the changes in the economy. The companies use rebates, financing, long term warranties, and recently the guarantee to make payment or return the vehicle should the consumer lose their job. This is definitely a sign of the times. The automotive companies compare themselves to each other. In their advertising campaigns, the companies point out the weakness of the other company and stressing their strength compared to the other companies. • 10. Not Just On Sunday At The United States Army Not Just on Sunday In the many years I have been working; in high school, a soldier in the United States Army, factory work along side of my father, and in law enforcement, I have experienced many leaders or bosses who were products of what they were taught or not taught. Those skills they adopted along the way, they imparted them to lead people. Maybe, in their hearts, these leaders had theological beliefs and principles they learned and practiced Sunday or their own Sabbath, Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy (Exodus 20:8), but it just seemed to me, on Monday through Friday, in my work life experience, those theological principals taught on Sunday ended sometime between the end of Sunday service and the beginning of the work week on Monday. In other words, scripture (s) that was read and interpreted on Sunday did not collate or merge in their daily lives, and this led to leadership principles and skills that were without Jesus. It was a division: Jesus and His mercy on Sunday and a secular ideology on Monday through Friday. I have always believed those theological principals taught on Sunday, Bible Study, Revivals, or weekly Bible Schools, etc. was just not extended beyond the church doors to the work environment where those same individuals who ask for Jesus mercy and love, failed to show mercy and love to the men and women they led daily. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of every day s Most quiet need, by sun and candle light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right; I love thee purely, as they turn from praise, I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood s faith. On the other hand, as she moves on in the poem, and her voice gets more and more passionate as she continues to develop her list of ways she loves her husband, she builds each line s rhythm to match this mood. By the time we reach the final stanza, her lines find a rhythm of their own, almost completely ignoring traditional form WITH my LOST SAINTS I LOVE THEE with the BREATH,/SMILES, TEARS of ALL my LIFE! Another set structure for sonnets is how each line ends. Traditionally, each line ends with punctuation, a period, comma or otherwise to create a pause and contain a complete thought. Lines which end this way are called end stopped. Reading through Sonnet 43 , we notice that five of the 14 lines do not end with a set pause; rather, they are enjambed. Enjambed means to carry over; this term describes how one line flows into the next without hesitation. To try to understand what Barrett Browning s intentions might be for this move away from traditional form, it is useful again to notice what the mood of the poem is where she breaks the rules. • 13. “White Man’s Burden” Essay Rudyard Kipling s 1899 poem The White Man s Burden epitomizes the European man s view on imperialism, Euro centrism and social Darwinism. Four centuries before 1899, such ideas were briefly hinted in the letter from Christopher Columbus to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, however by 1899 these attitudes strengthened and developed fully into their complete meaning. The U.S and Europe s imperialism in the nineteenth century were the most influential ever in the history of human civilization. The immense motive for imperialism came from social factors including religion and Social Darwinism. Missionaries frequently rushed to Africa and Asia to convert its people to Christianity. Taking care indicates improvement of their culture until they reach that of the Euro American standards which makes it clear that The White man s Burden proposes that the phase after exploration is the self centered education of the colonial population. The same month Kipling s poem was published, the Treaty of Paris was ratified and the Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Guam were acquired by the United States while Cuba remained occupied by the military. Advocates of this acquisition gravitated to the poem and popularized it as the literary voice of benevolent assimilation. The poem makes clear Kipling s view of attitudes that allowed colonialism to proceed. Although a belief in the virtues of empire was widespread at the time, there were also many dissenters; the publication of the poem caused a flurry of arguments from both sides, most notably from Mark Twain and Henry James. Mark Twain asserted that Kipling wrote the poem to help persuade many doubting Americans to seize the Philippines, which seemed to be a fair point of view for that time period. In the New York Herald, October 15, 1900, Twain describes his transformation and political awakening, in the context of the Philippine American War. He recognizes his transformation from being Pro imperialist to Anti imperialist. What Does Henry Fleming Symbolize In The Red Badge Of Courage John Tunis exposes Henry Fleming s true nature and emotions through examples of motif and symbolism in his novel The Red Badge of Courage. Although there are several different motifs in this novel, two main ones that I noticed are: the idea of becoming a man, or the coming of age, and the constant them of courage. Although the amount of time from the beginning of the book to the end is only a couple of days, the amount of character development within Henry is tremendous. At the beginning Henry is a boy who romanticizes and fantasizes about battles and war, as stated in the first chapter, He had, of course, dreamed of battles all his life of vague and bloody conflicts that had thrilled him with their sweep and fire. In visions he had seen himself in many struggles... (P. 5). But, at the end of the book he is a man who has experienced the real gore and grit of war and as he walks away from the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One of the most popular examples of this literary device is the use of wounds, more specifically the red badge of courage and what it really represents. In regards to Henry s guilt Tunis narrates, At times he regarded the wounded soldiers in an envious way. He conceived persons with torn bodies to be peculiarly happy. He wished that he, too, had a wound, a red badge of courage. (p. 55) I found this quote quite profound and selfish of Henry at first. Henry was not injured, and was that not a blessing? But taking closer consideration I realized that the fact that he did not have a wound to show on the outside of his body injured his pride quite a lot. He wanted a wound to prove that he had fought bravely and courageously for his country and for his men, instead of running from battle. The red badge of courage symbolizes that a soldier had fought and sacrificed themselves to protect their country and men most importantly, it proves this to other people. Ernest Hemingway s Big Two-Hearted River Throughout Ernest Hemingway s short story Big Two Hearted River, readers follow the journey of a young man named Nick Adams as he traverses the Michigan countryside. Initially, it appears as though Nick is simply partaking in a peaceful, solitary fishing trip, but as the story progresses it becomes apparent that this trip has a hidden purpose behind it. • 19. Comparison Between Critical Thinking And Clinical Reasoning Critical Thinking vs Clinical Reasoning Critical thinking and clinical reasoning are two terms that are similar in natural and at times have been used inter changeably throughout nursing literature. However, while there are similarities that can be observed when examining these two terms they are also uniquely different and should be treated as such. While many definitions of critical thinking exist The American Philosophical Association (APA) has defined critical thinking as purposeful, self regulatory judgment that uses cognitive tools such as interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation of the evidential, conceptual, methodological, criteriological, or contextual considerations on which judgment is based (American Philosophical Association, 1990). Much like critical thinking, multiple definitions exist for clinical reasoning. While numerous definitions may indeed exist a clear and precise definition has not yet been found within nursing literature (Simmons, 2010, p. 1151). According to Dr. Simmons, clinical reasoning within nursing is defined as a complex cognitive process that uses formal and informal thinking strategies to gather and analyze patient information, evaluate the significance of this information and weigh alternative actions (Simmons, 2010, p. 1155). As mentioned above similarities between critical thinking and clinical reasoning exist and quite often the term are used interchangeably within nursing literature (Simmons, ... In the story, there are three prisoners, sitting in a cave facing the back wall. They are chained at the neck and cannot turn their heads. Behind them is a fire. Between the fire and the cave wall there is a ridge in which puppets of sorts move along and cast shadows on the wall. None of this can be seen by the prisoners. At the opposite end of the cave, behind them, is the exit which leads up to the outside world. Then, one of the prisoner gets free. Those who chose to stay chose to accept how things are, but the few who chose to see what is causing these shadows on the wall explored outside of the cave and became temporarily blinded by the light from the sun (they became enlightened) becoming temporarily blind from the sun represents that enlightenment because now that you know what is causing these shadows you will never go back into that cave because now you have discovered a world that is more real. For example, short term volunteer trips (1 3 weeks) can be quite beneficial in the case of dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster. In the case of a serious catastrophe like that, it can take years to rebuild the community that it occurred in. With a continuous stream of fresh volunteerrecruits, the momentum will remain at a constant pace. A short term time frame for this type of scenario will result in more efficient progress being made. On another topic, volunteers have been proven, through extensive research on the subject, to be able to provide locals with some things that very few other aid workers can. The volunteers can be an effective link between the locals of the community and the humanitarian organizations. As an example, they can help locals fill out the forms required to apply for funding for certain projects. Volunteers can also help the locals understand ways in which they can effectively communicate with their government, and potentially receive more aid from them. Voluntourism agencies often emphasize the emotional connections that tourists can make with the locals, but rarely speak about this kind of connection that I have just mentioned. After thickening of chamber walls during cardiac embryogenesis, oxygen and nutrients can no longer be passively diffused into cardiac cells, therefore, a primitive vascular develops to supply these vital resources. The plexus then further matures into coronary arteries and veins which ensures continued development of the heart. However, the vasculogenesis of these coronary blood vessels is not fully understood and has been a topic of intense research and debate. Over time, various models have been proposed, indicating the importance of cellular and molecular signals regulating vascularization of the embryonic heart. Interestingly, research has highlighted the contribution of extra cardiac cells which migrates and differentiates in the heart. Keywords: Vasculogenesis, angiogenesis, embryogenesis, VEGF, anatomical variations. Introduction Much of what is known about the origin of cells that make up the coronary vascular network comes from immuno histochemical analyses, quail chick chimera experiments, retroviral labelling, gene targeting experiments and, more recently, lineage tracing studies. Interestingly, not a single cell that makes up the coronary system of the heart arises from the heart. Once HFSS is successfully integrated with ANSYS, the electromagnetic response of the model is computed by HFSS. The following two types of losses are extracted from HFSS simulation outputs: (i)Surface loss density (W/m2), resulting from metallic losses. (ii)Volume loss density (W/m3), resulting from the dielectric losses. These electrical results including losses are imported to ANSYS, ANSYS maps the surface and volume losses from HFSS and conducts mechanical simulations to acquire thermal responses. The thermal response will be a function of the input power level of the microwave signal and also the frequency. The process is then reversed by importing the thermal results from ANSYS back to HFSS. EM simulations are carried out in HFSS to recalculate the losses and the process is repeated many times until a converged criterion is satisfied. The decision chart shown in Figure 3.1 explains the process [1]. Figure 3.3.1: Decision chart containing steps for iteration loop of HFSS ANSYS. Meno s replies are scattered and he is unable to give the reader a true definition of what virtue is. Meno fails to give a common factor in all definitions of virtue, but rather gives the reader many different outlooks with nothing connecting each example. In this paper, I will discuss the exchanges between Meno and Socrates and the attempts made by Meno to describe virtue as well as Socrates arguments against them. As stated above, Meno comes up with three attempts at defining virtue. While reading it can be assumed that virtue is not easily defined. But actually they are not. Determinism draws a picture of causality in the frame of laws of nature. That is to say, every event has a cause. From deterministic point of view, free willis uncaused, so it rejects free will completely. On the other hand, opponents of free will reject determinism. However, there is a third option, a softer way to solve free will problem, namely, compatibilism. I believe compatibilism is a better way because it offers a solution which should be taken into acount. To understand what compatibilism is, first, I need to explain what determinism and free will are briefly. Free will is the ability to make choice by taking moral responsibility. Causal determinism is that every event has cause and effect in the light of laws of nature. According to incompatibilism, these two term are opposite of each other.
