Hans: Hello girls. How have you been. I've seen them for a long time.
Emma: Hello Hans. I'm fine thanks. And you Sofia.
Sofia: Hello guys, yesterday I had an athletics competition.
Emma: And how was it?
Sofia: Well, the only thing they recommended to me was that I had to
lead a healthier life to be better.
Hans: I just have a short presentation prepared called "The Do's and
Don'ts of Staying Fit and Healthy." Let's break down each topic and
create a list for each one
Emma: Sounds great, Hans! Let's start with food and drink. One "do"
could be to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables for essential nutrients,
while a "don't" might be avoiding sugary drinks and processed foods.
Sofia: Absolutely, Emma. For sleep, a "do" could be establishing a
consistent bedtime routine for better rest, and a "don't" might involve
avoiding screens before bedtime to improve sleep quality.
Hans: Good points! Now, onto exercise. A "do" could be incorporating both
cardio and strength training for overall fitness, while a "don't" might involve
overtraining without proper rest and recovery.
Emma: I agree, Hans. When it comes to stress, a "do" could be practicing
relaxation techniques like meditation or deep breathing, while a "don't" might
involve ignoring signs of stress and not seeking support when needed.
Sofia: Wise suggestions, Emma. Lastly, for avoiding and recovering from illness, a
"do" could be washing hands frequently and getting vaccinated, while a "don't"
might involve ignoring symptoms and not seeking medical attention when
necessary.
